This club was originaly created by Andx and myself to get members who love One Piece more active in the YCM community. Recent changes have come about due to not many One Piece fans staying active. Now this club has changed to become an all out Anime Club, though this has changed the main Anime will still remain as One Piece.

"Here, the greatest Anime Card Makers, Role-players, writers and Gossipers on YCM will gather to further improve the abilities of each other, as well as helping lesser members to reach their level of ingenuity. Every month, a different anime will become the main topic. This will also be a place where we support each others threads wether it be; Card making, roleplaying or a fic. A member of AU never has to have his/her thread sink into the forum without a post. You help others, and you will be helped in turn.

Their will be certain ranks assosiated with different anime's and Andx, Black or myself will designatre the top ranks of these anime's and from their the top ranks of the anime's can decide the ranking systems and who and how you can be gain a higher rank.

Well I'm already part of the club but I'll post my info anyway, lol.

Specialty: Roleplaying, Fan-fic, One Piece knowledge, perhaps Card Making.

Favorite One Piece Character: This it way too hard. I have to like Luffy but Chopper Usopp and Brook also come up close to that list; not to mention Hancock who may be approaching that competitive level. Regardless I have to go with Luffy. Main charater, is way too awesome, is way too funny, all around fun character.

Least Favorite One Piece Character: While I know you're supposed to hate them and that makes them sort of awesome as well, I hate Spandam and the celestial dragons. Those guys messed with people like they were nothing and killed like crazy, not to mention Spandam messed with Robin big time and that's not cool. Oh wait, I have a character I just hated because he was annoying and that's Foxy, you know the guy in the Davy Back Fight? Yeah I hated him greatly.

By the way all future members. I have a fan-fic already a decent bit in progress that will be part of this thread before too long. Just in case that interests any of you.

Monkey D. Luffy- I like him because he is funny at times but when the going gets tough he fights harder.

Roronoa Zoro- He is one the most badass characters in this anime. Also he kick ass with three swords.

Crocodile- He is a guy who you don't want to meet anywhere and he is badass

Portgas D. Ace- Three words: Fire Fist Ace.

Shanks- He is clam and one of four kings of the sea but has no reward for his capture.

Usopp- He is boring to me.

Okay, so we're at least doing something I'll intro my fanfic that will be present throughout this thread at various points when I feel like posting chapters.

So this was an RP on a separate forum but it died. But the degree to which the idea appealed to me did not. So I'm making it into a fanfic so I can continue the story in a way it might have gone had the RP survived.

Oh, you'll see this as you read but I thought I should mention it. The chapters won't ever exactly be very long. Think of each chapter as one chapter of manga. Enough happens that each is important, but it's not incredibly long.

I will present the crew members' information using the app I had in the RP. You'll be pleased to know that those of you who made a character for that RP, your character will still be in this FanFic as a crew member. Any additional crew members that I create will have apps posted for them after their introduction takes place in the fanfic. If anyone feels like they want a character in here, be it hero or villain, pm me about it and I'll send you the app so you can fill it out. I'll be presenting all the main crew members who had apps made for them in the RP below.

Name: Emanuel D. Koertig

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Position in Crew: Captain

Half-human half-fox

You can imagine what his half form looks like. He looks like a fox but with human anatomy. He still has the nine tails behind him.

Personality: A lot like the other D.'s. He's cheerful and laughs a lot. He cares very much for his friends and will defend them no matter what. He's a bit unorthodox and you can expect some perhaps nonsensical things from him. Though he's not as silly as other D.'s have been. He's bright and loves to learn things and see new places.

Bio: Emanuel was born in the East Blue. His whole life he grew up idolizing the Straw Hat crew. They were very successful pirates and were from the same part of the world. Luffy was his hero and he wanted to be like him one day. He had a rough childhood. He grew up in an orphanage as his parents died when he was young. He didn't know his last name and the people in charge were very mean to the children they looked after. During this time he began to respect Luffy. When he was 7 he was adopted by the Koertigs. They were an older couple that hadn't been able to have their own children. After seeing the condition of the orphanage they decided to adopt Emanuel to give him a better life. Emmanuel took on the last name of Koertig and he loved the two very much. He began to view them as his parents.

When he was nine Emanuel, and all of the East Blue, heard of the capture and execution of Monkey D. Luffy. Emanuel was crushed. His hero had died and the pirates of the world suddenly stopped having the great adventures of the pirate age. Two weeks later, Luffy's last words were given to the public. Emanuel from then on wanted to destroy the world government that had been condemned by his hero; who they had also killed.

At age 15 he had been busy training under a local martial arts teacher for four years. This teacher was old and knew some very amazing techniques. Over the time he took lessons, Emanuel learned three of the so called Rokoushiki techniques. He learned Rankyaku, the long ranged kick attack, Soru, the high speed movement technique, and Tekai, the defense technique. This old man also taught Emanuel how to use the gauntlets and grieves he now uses.

At age 16 Emanuel decided to enter into the mysterious cave on his island. The legend was that a great power resided in the cave but no one who'd gone in search of it ever came out. As he was trained and he wanted power to defeat the government he entered. Though there were many dangers, Emanuel made it into the center of the cave. Inside was a bizarre tree with the strangest looking fruit dangling from it. An inscription on the wall said that this was the resting place of a mythical zoan type devil fruit. Emanuel took and ate the fruit and soon found that it was the kyuubi, or fox with nine tails, fruit. He now possessed the ability to turn into a half man half fox form and a full kyuubi form. This legendary creature had also been able to some pale blue flames and Emanuel found he could as well. The town was amazed at his newfound ability and began to feel he could accomplish what he'd always wanted.

At age 18 he said goodbye to his teacher, his family, and his island. He left to form a crew to overthrow the world government. The island cheered him on; they wanted to see Luffy's last request fulfilled as well.

Not long after leaving Emanuel came across a man in a small rowboat on the sea. From the look of him he was a former slave of the Government. Emanuel took him onboard his slightly bigger vessel and gave him some much needed food. The man was thankful and introduced himself as Frozox L. Aisu. Frozox and Emanuel became good friends in a short time and decided to travel together as a pirate crew. Though their goals weren't exactly the same, Frozox was more than willing to help Emanuel. The two set off in search of other crew members.

Even though he was nine years older, Frozox decided that Emanuel should be the captain. Shortly after they began to travel together, Emanuel developed a strange condition. He was consistently ill for awhile and then he found his full animal form alleviated his condition. Though no longer ill, he tires easily if he's not selective with what he does. He's in his full animal form more often than not on the ship, his wanted poster is even of his fox form as he's hardly seen in his human form, but his crew is used to it. As he can't be constantly active, Emanuel let Frozox take the more active leadership position. He's still more than able to fight but if he does too much in one day his illness kicks up again. If he needs to help his crew though he doesn't care how much he has to do or what happens to him.

Weapons: Gauntlets on his arms and grieves on his legs. They are used to enhance his physical attacks and add guarding potential to his armored legs. The gauntlets have limited impact dial technology in them. This means that if he takes a blow on his gauntlets, he can then release a portion of that force back in his own attacks; thus adding to the damage output. Since he didn't want the gauntlets to be too heavy, they do not have the ability of impact dials to absorb any blow without damage to the user.

Devil Fruit Power: Mythical Zoan Type. Inu Inu no mi, model Kyuubi.

As with all Zoan types it lets him transform into a half-man half-fox form and a full fox form. As this is a mythical type it is also allows elemental manipulation. Being a Kyuubi he has nine tails and he is able to make and form blue fire centered around the tips of his tails in his full fox form. In half form he has increased speed and endurance and is able to use the fire in combination with his physical fighting.

Fighting Style: As Emmanuel is a master of three roukushiki techniques, rankyaku, soru, and tekai, he often uses them. His fire ability is used in combination with it. He often tries to out speed his opponent and deal a crushing blow. He will take many hits but does try to avoid attacks. He shows no preference for punches or kicks; he simply uses what he must to win. He's just as competent a fighter in his full animal form and can still use the Rokoushiki techniques in that form. He'll only use his human form or half and half form in the toughest of fights.

Inspiration/Goals: Luffy's last words were his inspiration. He wants to do what Luffy asked and destroy the World government.

Name: Frozox L. Aisu

Gender: Male

Age: 28

Position in Crew: Vice Captain

Personality: serious most of the time, intelligent, enjoys a good laugh however, loves chocolate

Bio: He grew up on a winter island, and soon became attached to cold weather. His childhood was fairly normal, except for the fact that his village was attacked almost everyday by pirates, and every time everyone would pitch in and help. At 4, he was already intelligent in the world of science, and perfected the Black Ice theory at age 7. He used logic and reason in his battles with pirates, and hence, he also improved his fighting skill. At age 15, his home island was recognized by the World Government as an island in need of protection. The World Government sent hundreds of troops, and soon the inhabitants of that island figured out that the World Government feared them, and they were making their country "Occupied Territory". The inhabitants attempted to drive out the Navy several times, but they were too strong, and many innocent people lost their lives. Eventually, the World Government issued a full scale attack on Frozox's island. Before the attack, Marines raided the towns in search of valuable prisoners, and so Frozox was chosen for his exceptional skill in science. After 5 years of working for the Navy as a slave, they allowed him a small rowboat, and exiled him to the sea.

After days of rowing, he was found by Emmanuel D. Koertig, and recruited to his crew, as it's second member. Since then, they've been good friends and they have traveled the seas together. Now that there is a bigger treasure to be found then any they've ever heard of, both figure the need a much larger crew to be known in the Second Great Age of Piracy.

Weapons: Gorotsuki Akumu (scarf, which he can control mentally, reaches several yards), Kuroiaisuken (sword, made of black ice), also uses scientific chemicals and elements especially black ice, which is kind of like super ice

Devil Fruit Power: N/A

Fighting Style: He thinks logically before attacking and is extremely fast. He likes to use elements of science and chemicals to put his opponents at a disadvantage before attacking them with Gorotsuki Akumu and Kuroiaisuken.

Inspiration/Goals: Wants to find the 5 Legendary Elements.

Name: John Noir

Gender: Male

Age: 25

Position in Crew: Cook

Personality: Quiet, and book loving, but not Antisocial. Philosophical. While he does not talk much, he is a generally bright person, even if it's sarcasm.

Bio: When John was young, around 12, his parents were taken by the Military and executed. They were ex-pirates of some infamy, but not many knew them. John was upset by this, and grew to be cynical, angry at life, and without hope. A local Restaurant employed him at age 15, and he quickly became head chef. He cooked or read all the time to keep his mind off of things. Then, when he had all but conformed, Luffy's final words lit a fire in side of him. He is still sarcastic, but he is hopeful now, and he set out on a journey to stop the military at all costs.

While he was out on said journey, he saw a blue fox, with 9 tails, with a young boy. he decided to "Rescue" the boy. Not knowing what it was, he wared behind it and yelled at it. He got into a fight with the blue kyuubi, or Emanuel, until the boy, Frosox, yelled for them to stop. Emanuel reverted, and John explained everything, and they camped to gether that night. They exchanged tales, and decided to travel together.

Weapons: A sword like Ivy's From Soul Calibur, or Renji's from Bleach. A Rifle stolen from the military with bullets infused with Sori Sori no Me, and a Stiletto style knife.

Devil Fruit Power: Paramecia: Sori Sori no Me: Allows user to warp around, within eyesight. Weapons can be infused with it, and the user of said weapon controls where it goes.

Fighting Style: Dodging and Sneaking. The Sori Sori no Me is used to warp, and have the user appear randomly somewhere from the enemy, and then attack a blind spot. Usually used with a gun, sword, or Knife. Also, it is used to disarm enemies. Also, shoots bullets and makes them warp randomly.

Inspiration/Goals: HE was inspired by Luffy's last words. Initially, he was angry at the Government for killing his father and mother, but Luffy gave him that little push he needed. Seeks to end corruption.

Name: Jack Lancolets

Gender: Male

Age: 26

Position in Crew: Musician

Appearance: Jack usually wears a tattered black tuxedo with a bow tie and a white shirt underneath. The tuxedo is quite old as it looks as if it had been torn on both sleeves as well as having several cuts around it. His leggings which are black formal looking pants look as if they had been torn and battleworn. He also carries a breifcase at all times, usually concealing numberous instruments and his weapons. His actual appearance is a pale man with a british-style moustace and black hair cut short. His eyes are a deep green and he is quite tall and stocky.

Personality: Jack is quite a sort of a confident type when in battle but is often put aback due to his seemingly feeble appearance. He has a large code of honor of how battles should be placed but is not above a little gambling. He is quite protective of others and dislikes seeing anyone mistreated, especially his friends.

Bio: Jack was originally a young boy living in a rich family who had a great talent in musical arts. He had always wondered about the outside world of being a pirate at this age and enjoyed listening to the tales that they told him on shore. At age 17 he was a well-known musical genius and worked at a small buisness of passing down the adventures of the pirates to children. But after the great Monkey D. Luffy was murdered Jack started searching for other rebels, surely there would be some pirates still out there, waiting for a new member. He eventaully came across a young man named Emanuel who happened to be searching for a crew that would be able to avenge Monkey D. Luffy. Jack conversed with the man and his group and eventaully sung them a song due to his liking of them. The man was impressed with his talents and offered him a chance to become a member, which he accepted in delight.

Weapons: He carries several dart styled weapons that are used to poison the enemy quickly. Other weapons include, a longsword resembling a rapier, and a Thompson gun.

Devil Fruit Power: Paramecia: Meta Meta no Me: Allows the user to transform one body part into a seen solid (Rock, Metal etc,). Can be used on others but the user must have transformed there own body with the said solid and have contact with the said person.

Fighting Style: Jack's own fighting style is mainly revolved on his weapons as a silent method involving his darts. If direct contact without his weapons is nessesary he often attempts to attack the pressure points instead of using his own Devil Fruit. Agiasnt multiple enemies he uses the power but only as his ace in the hole as many pirates usually assume he has no Devil Fruit as he seldom uses it.

Inspiration/Goals: He wishes peace between the pirates and military, but at the same time wishes to avenge Luffy.

Name: Koji Ichimaru

Gender: Male

Age:17

Position in Crew: Navigator

Personality:At first glance many people peg Koji to be a Lazy worthless underachiving pervert who has Sexist and rude tendencies while he IS a pervert and sometiems he's lazy once he strikes up a friendship he'll NEVER betray his comrades no matter what also he LOVES cracking vulgar jokes

Bio:Koji was never a bright child but his family never stopped beliving in him. His father was a member of the infamous Blue Spider pirate crew when his fatehr was executed by the navy he swore he'd get back at them but 1st he would need a pirate crew so to make himself useful he studied up on maps of all kinds so he became a decent navigator. He took up the name Koji (meaning Spider) to commemerate his fathers memory he hates revealing his TRUE name to others and to this day he hasn't. He met the crew outside of a bar trying to start up a crew of his own, the crew chose him to be their navigator and he's gotten along well with the crew but sometimes he can get on their nerves

Weapons (if any):His Guitar which he cuztomized himself to have a circular saw blade protruding from either end of the body of the guitar effectivley turning it into a powerful saw weapon

Devil Fruit Power (if any): Oto Oto no mi. (Sound Sound fruit) Due to the power Broxret originally lined out is an already used power this is being changed. The power itself will be explained as the fanfic progresses.

Fighting Style: his fighting style effectivley matches his personality he has a lax stance and fights dirty he dosent belive in fighting with honor against those who threaten his friends but when sparring he won't do anythign to cheat he'll use low-blows biting and other dirty tricks to fight against enemies

Inspiration/Goals:He was inspired by his father to become a pirate the idea of freedom on the seas enflamed him. Koji draws other inspiration from the avatar of the spider a gold necklace in the shape of a spider that he keeps under his coat. His goals are to 1:Sleep with some cute girls 2:Make friends that are as loyal as HE is 3:DESTROY THE NAVY FORCE

Name: Alice Valkerii

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Position in Crew: Look out

Appearance: This pic, except a little less adorable, and a little more sexy. Not hard to imagine since I imagine at least some of us are pervs. XD

Personality: Cheery, seemingly innocent, easily amazed

Bio: Despite her cheery nature, Alice was born in Impel Down, and had to survive by hiding from guards and stealing food unaware. The only thing that kept her hidden, was she could squeeze out of the bars and hide when her parents were taken to be tortured. Her mother died after Alice was born, and her father defended her as his last meaningful thing in his life. Eventually, many of her father's cellmates assisted in hiding her and keeping her alive. When her father died at the hands of one of his cellmates, the prisoners who were kind to her planned an escape for her. Many of them sacrificed their lives to get her on board a Navy ship, and hopefully the Marines would mistake her for some kind of lost child from one of the ship's journeys. Luckily, it worked, and Alice, only 4 when this occurred, was raised by the Marines. She worked on their boats when she grew a little, and befriended a Marine named Alf.

On one of their quests to rid the world of evil, Alf and Alice discovered a cave hidden by traps and all sorts of obstacles. Risking life and limb, they went through, hoping whatever was at the end of the tunnel would be worth it. At the end of the tunnel, they found 2 mystical looking fruits and a pair of dice. They both ate one of the fruits, and Alf insisted on letting Alice have the dice, as they had some sort of aura about them. On there way out however, they did not expect more traps, and Alf was caught by an arrow and pinned. Alice was scared, and didn't know what to do. She tried to unhook the arrow, but more spikes, arrows, saw blades, and all other sorts of traps sprung, and Alf insisted Alice run. So she did, and when she returned to the ship, she realized she had lost the last person who was any sort of parent.

Alice was dropped off at a nearby island at her own request, and wanted to appeal her sense of adventure, since she had little else. She figured the best way to find adventure, was piracy. Description: A handsome dark -skinned man with a fairly muscular physique, his hair is worn in long dark braids much like Tōsen from Bleach but with a dark blue tint, his eyes are dark brown almost black. His facial hair consists of a thin dark goatee. He wears a sleeveless shirt and black pants, with short open fingered black gloves reaching the forearms, with a set od black boots.

[spoiler=[b]Personality:[/b]]Hayate is a quiet man who rarely interacts with others unless it is necessary, he tends to sit and observe people and situations only acting when it is of the utmost importance. When he talks it is usually short sometimes only with one word being uttered. Hayate enjoys practicing his swordsman ship, he dislikes the goverment. His favorite food is eggplant and he dislikes unsweetened tea. He is tough but fair with his crew mates taking every situation seriously, he wants to prove himself (by his actions and not his words) to the rest of the crew and his Captain.

Bio: Hayate was born into a Japanese family his father a Pirate Captain and his mother being the 2nd in command. When Hayate was young his entire family except him where wiped out by the marines. He was left with a friend of the family who was a top Government official and was extremely corrupt in his ways of thinking. Until the age of 16 Hayate lived with the friend of the families and was abused, and made to work for the Government in Pirate espionage. One of these days when he was 16 he was sent on a Espionage mission on a Pirate ship where he heard news of the great pirate Luffy's execution and his last words. Inspired from Luffy's last words he decided that he would leave the Government and take up his parents duties as a Pirate becoming the a pirate of a world famous crew in which would allow him to finally challenge the long lost Pirate Hunter Roronoa Zoro. Since that faithful day Hayate has gained Shikai Shikai no mi a rare Devil Fruit that most have never even heard of allowing Hayate come up against the mightiest swordsman the marines had to offer and none of which where a match for his superior skills.

Weapons: A tachi and a wakizashi on his back which are infused with his Devil Fruit Power, also many different types of shuriken including Ninja Stars and Spikes and darts. He also carries a few Smoke Bombs for concealment and quick getaways.

Devil Fruit Power: Paramecia Type. Shikai Shikai no mi,

As with all Paramecia types it lets him alter features of their bodies or their environment and manipulate and generate some kind of substances. The power of the Shikai Shikai no mi allows Hayate to alter the environment to "make children's games real". The games have set rules and anyone who steps within the boundaries of its spiritual energy is forced to play by those rules, including Hayate himself. winner will live and the loser will be critically injured and if not helped within a certain time limit can die.

Shikai Shikai no mi Irooni - This is a color-based game where you say the name of the color you want to cut with your sword and you cannot cut anything else. If the color that you call does not exist on your body, the damage is minimal, even if the attack would normally inflict a much more severe wound. The opposite is true; by calling out a color you're wearing and attacking, the damage given is proportional to the amount of that color on you. To maximize damage, you have to use a color that maximizes the risks to your person as well as your enemy. For example, by wearing black robes and calling "black," one would inflict massive damage on a enemy if struck even if the actual blow itself was minimal or minor, but the caller would also suffer serious damage if he/she is struck by the enemy in return.

Shikai Shikai no mi Kageoni - The rule of this game is that whoever steps on a shadow "loses." The game itself allows competitors to manipulate shadows to their advantage. For example, Hayate has demonstrated the ability to hide himself in shadows by using this technique, and he can also control the shadows and use them to attack an opponent by attacking the shadow they are currently standing upon.

Shikai Shikai no mi King of the mountain - Whoever is higher up then the other wins.

Shikai Shikai no mi Capture the Flag - the field is divided into two halves, known as territories for each Pirate crews. Each side has a "flag" which is most often a piece of fabric, but can be any object small enough to be easily carried by a person. The flags are generally placed in a visibly obvious location at the rear of a teams territory. The object of the game is for players to make their way into the opposing team's territory, grab the flag and return with it to their own territory without being tagged. The flag is defended mainly by cutting opposing players who attempt to take it. Within their own territory players are "safe", meaning that they cannot be cut by opposing players. Once they cross in to the opposing teams territory they are vulnerable. A crew member that is cut is out of the game, the last member of the losing team is the one effected by the rules of winning or losing.

Hayate can also generate and manipulate Gravity.

Inspiration/Goals: Carry on his parents legacy as a great Pirate. To finally have the chance to go head to head with the worlds greatest Swordsman.

[spoiler=[i]Prologue[/i] Execution! Gold Roger's Successor Dies!]

The great treasure One Piece. The Great Pirate Era was sparked out of Gol D. Roger's last statements to look for his treasure. The call resonated deeply throughout the people of the various oceans. In many men and women alike a burning desire to go forth on a grand adventure awakened. Person after person took to the Grand Line, the greatest of all oceans, in search of this great treasure. It was desired for many different reasons: To achieve wealth, to receive fame, to obtain power, to fulfill a goal, or even to gather the greatest amount of freedom in the world.

Thirteen years ago a young man of seventeen took to the seas on a small vessel. His goal was simple: Reach One Piece and become the King of Pirates. Normally the world would pay no attention to such a small venture. But Monkey D. Luffy, the Rubber-Man, would prove to be someone that could not be easily ignored. Though his steps were slow he began to gather a crew. After adding only four members to his crew he received a thirty million berri bounty.

From that moment on the World Government could no longer ignore Straw Hat Luffy. As his adventures continued he took one more crew member and then proceed to expose the corrupt schemes of Crocodile, a Warlord of the Sea who 'served' the World Government. From there his bounty increased to one hundred million and his first mate Roronoa Zoro received a sixty million bounty. The Government became increasingly frustrated. Luffy added one more crew member and then did the unthinkable: In order to save a friend, he declared war on the World Government. Luffy and his crew defeated the infamous Cipher Pool Nine and rescued a 'criminal' from imprisonment in Impel Down. The World Government was outraged and placed bounties on the entire crew. The bounties came out like this: Straw Hat Luffy - 300,000,000; Pirate Hunter Zoro - 120,000,000; Cat Burglar Nami - 16,000,000; King of the Snipers Sogeking(Later known to be Ussop) - 30,000,000; Black Leg Sanji - 77,000,000; Cotton Candy Lover, Chopper - 50; and Devil Child Nico Robin - 80,000,000. Before long Luffy added two more crew members: Cyborg Franky - 44,000,000; and Dead Bones Brook - 33,000,000. Together the nine set out on many more adventures. At one point they were separated and that was when Luffy rescued his brother Ace, from Impel Down and the World Government.

From there the crew eventually reunited and set out for One Piece with renewed enthusiasm. It can only be assumed they found the treasure ten years ago, as that was when Straw Hat Luffy turned himself into the Marines. The Marines were truly shocked, the most infamous pirate had just handed himself to them. It was a scene they had only witnessed once before, with Gol D. Roger. At the day of his execution Luffy couldn't stop smiling. Everything was as exciting to him then as it had always been. When the execution was about to happen Luffy momentarily went completely serious. The message he left would send the world into a whole new type of chaos. "I have to say, my time as a Pirate was the most fun I've ever had. Though there was one thing I wish I could've done. The World Government; it has no right to rule. We found the truth but couldn't go through with it. Someone who hears my simple request, please do what we couldn't! Show the world that the Government shouldn't rule them!". With his request offered his trademark grin that had accompanied his wanted poster for his years a pirate returned. And thus his life ended.

The world was in shock. It seemed the Straw Hats knew about the Blank Century, a period of history for which there was no knowledge save that it was the time the World Government was established. The surviving eight straw hats were searched for diligently by the Marines who were desperate to find out what they knew. All of their searches ended in vain. The remaining eight seemed to have vanished off the face of the earth. In response to Luffy's words all of the Pirates turned against the World Government. It was a truly bloody war that killed many. Somehow the World Government came out victorious. From there they moved to establish very strict martial law. They wanted to put a stop to all pirate activity. For ten years no one dared take to the seas in piracy.

But many were greatly inspired by the final words of Luffy and the many adventures of Luffy and his crew. The world had turned bleak, and many wished to restore the romantic travels of the decade before. Though abuse by the Marines was great in most places, piracy returned again. Many set out to fulfill Luffy's request, many others to simply have grand adventures. But certainly, there was one crew that would surpass all others in the efforts to fulfill Luffy's request. This is the story of their adventures.

[spoiler=[i]Chapter 1[/i] Is He a Fox or a Man? Emanuel D. Koertig Begins His Journey!]

Emanuel D. Koertig stepped up to his rather small vessel, his brown hair flowing in the wind as usual. He was eighteen, he had been for about half a year. As he always knew he would do when he turned eighteen, he was now preparing to head out to the sea, find a crew, and fulfill his hero's request. As he stepped onto the small boat the people of his town were there to excitedly see him off. As he moved he thought about the events of his life leading to this point:

Emanuel never knew his parents. Very early after his birth either his parents died, or they abandoned him. He was found at the orphanage of Aselia village in the East Blue. There was a note that simply stated his first name and middle initial; Emanuel D. There was a blank where the last name should've been, meaning he was to receive his name upon his adoption. Emanuel spent the first seven years of his life in the orphanage. He never really cared for it. The fact that he didn't have a family made him distance himself from others a bit. Additionally, the people in charge of the orphanage cared very little for the children. The conditions were rough. Thankfully for him, when he was seven an older couple, the Koertigs, came to the orphanage. They looked at the children and the conditions they lived in and were outraged. They adopted Emanuel to get him out of that situation and then persuaded the mayor of Aselia to investigate and reform the orphanage.

Emanuel was very happy to have a family and a last name. The Koertigs had been unable to have children of their own so they cared greatly for Emanuel. Emanuel loved having people who cared for him and soon he began to view the Koertigs as his family. During his time in the orphanage, Emanuel had found a hero; Monkey D. Luffy. Not long after he turned nine the world was given the final words of Monkey D. Luffy. This news crushed Emanuel. He couldn't comprehend how his hero could die. As he grew older he understood what Luffy's final request included. He made it his goal to do what Luffy asked and show the world that the World Government had no right to rule over them.

When he turned fifteen Emanuel happened across an old man on the outskirts of town. He claimed he had been looking for a pupil to teach martial arts to and that he decided Emanuel would be that pupil. It was awkward that someone he hardly knew wished to train him. For the next few years the man taught him how to fight hand-to-hand and included three very strange techniques.

After a year of training Emanuel thought to tackle the challenge of a massive cave on the island. Emanuel had heard stories all his life about how there was a great power that could be found inside but no one who had ever gone in had come out. Emanuel was determined to get through the cave, achieve this power, and use it in his goal. As he entered he found the cave was so dangerous simply because the passages were so complicated. Perhaps foolishly, Emanuel used his grieves and training to break through dead ends until he finally found the center of the cave. Inside he found the strangest tree bearing an even stranger fruit. The room was dark aside from right around the tree. A simple note was there and it said that those who sought power should eat the fruit. Complying, Emanuel took and ate the fruit was very surprised to see he had become a large blue fox with nine tails. The cave then lit up and an in-depth explanation of the fruit was given on the walls.

Emanuel had eaten the mythical zoan type, inu inu no mi, model: Kyubi; a Devil Fruit. It gave him the ability to transform into a half-man half-fox form and also the full fox form. He also found he could use a blue fire in these forms. Emanuel was excited and exited the cave, forgetting to turn back into a human before he left. As he ran out the people of the town panicked and the guards of the town had Emanuel at spear-point. After a very long explanation, and finally turning back, the people were amazed at what power he had achieved. The people thought now more than ever that Emanuel might be able to achieve his goal. For two more years Emanuel trained in martial arts and in using his Devil Fruit.

And with those thoughts Emanuel untied the boat.

"Alright! Time to go! So long Aselia! See you all in I don't know how long!".

And with that Emanuel set off into the ocean, the town cheering all the way.

Mine is tied between the Yomi Yomi no mi and Gomu Gomu no mi. I can't really decide between the two I love the Yomi Yomi no mi because it has my favorite usage of Gravity involved in it. But I like the Gomu Gomu no mi because of how many interesting things luffy can do with it. Not to mention it's obviously not the strongest devil fruit but Luffy always seems to find a way to use it successfully in combat.

Actually the Yomi Yomi no mi has nothing to do with gravity. You were referring to Brook being able to run on water yes? That's because he's so light due to only being a skeleton, not that his fruit did anything.

As for my favorite, I like the logia types. My favorites being Ace's fire power and Eneru's lightning power.

Yeah, it use to be Telekinesis but I figured out it was more fun in trying to find harder more complex abilities using gravity, along with finding major weak points in it. I was kinda angry at first when I applied for the One Piece RP cause I was hoping to use Gravity but then I read the devil fruit list and saw that and I was like come on, nothing can be fair. lol anyways hopefully we can get a few more members to join and get the club a bit more active. I'm also currently waiting for the banner as I've still hadn't gotten a reply from anyone decent for it. I may see if someone here could do it if things don't work on the GFX site.

That sucks. Not knowing much about the show you came into the RP and found your favorite ability was not useable.

You can get some pretty good results by asking members here for banners. But no one replied to you? How long ago did you post the request?
