Time Psyduck
Anwen slowly awoke without opening her eyes. OK, so I was just in cloudland with the talking dragon, but that was a dream. This doesn't feel like a dream, so I guess that I must be wherever I fell asleep. So where was that? I seem to remember it wasn't at home...oh yes, the lift in the league building. She slowly opened an eye, and then closed it again. OK, no lift. And it doesn't look like the Sickbay either, so where is it? She opened both eyes this time, and sat upright. The place seemed to lack any defining characteristics, as if it was intentionally designed to be as generic as possible. The only distinguishing feature was the people in it. Given that they included members of the Elite Four, as well as herself, Anwen guessed they were all good, or at least decent, trainers, although why were they all here? Kotaro
Daniel sat up straight looking around, "Either my memory is lacking or I was actually in this wierd place before that wierd dream of Ho-Oh", he muttered to himself and stood up of the floor and continued looking around, "Some of these other trainers are familiar". He looked down at his belt and saw that all 6 pokemon were there and sighed in relief. Having been in the dream and being within another dimension without realising, Daniel pinched arm just to make sure that he wasnt dreaming. "It fits, this cant be a dream, unless I need something stronger to wake me up" he said and walked forwards to the others.
Bringerofcake
Kaiten was meditating, as he was wont to do at the beginning of most days. His mind was focused, calm, fluid. His body was motionless, steady, strong. He felt nothing and everything. Then, something brushed against his consciousness. It felt like the moon had eclipsed him, yet he could see and feel everything. Mentally, he had entered the Whirl Islands. The mighty Lugia had already emerged from the falls, and simply stared. Kaiten felt Lugia's feelings enter his body: Gratitude and compassion for the Well Tower, pride of its power, and a sort of infinite knowledge that only a legendary Pokemon can have. But there was another feeling. One of forboding and dread, one that told Kaiten everything he needed to know. Something was awakening, and not even the legendary Pokemon god of the Brass Tower could tell him. He would once again take up his wanderer state. He nodded that he understood, and awoke in the Gym's inner garden."I'm going out, and I won't be back for a while," he told his most senior Gym Trainer, a Channeler, upon exiting the room. "Make sure that the Trainers aren't crushed too badly." He opened the Gym doors, and left it and Ecruteak. He would return after he discovered what the strange phenomenon was. Envoy of Twilight
The first member of the elite four awoke with a groan. "No great challengers yet, probably not today either", Brandon said, groaning again. He smiled and let his Milotic out of it's pokeball. "Hello Milotic, ready to beat some weak trainers", he said. Milotic just sighed. When Brandon made it back to his elite four room, there was already a challenger waiting. "Lets get this over with, shall we? I think I left the stove on at home and I would hate to waste power", said Brandon, laughing. "I'm ready", said the challenger, twisting his hat backwards. Brandon thought to himself, "I swear I've seen this kid before". The refferee walked up to his stand and said, "The battle will be 2 on 2. The battle will end when both of one trainers pokemon are defeated. Let the battle begin". As he said that, Brandon threw 2 pokeballs into the air. "Come on out, Sceptile and Milotic!", he said, now frowning. "Alright, Charizard, Snorlax, I choose you", the challenger said, smiling. Brandon smiled. He hadn't seen this combination before. "Milotic, water pulse and Sceptile, use quick attack through the hoops of water and stick in the middle of them, then use leaf blade", said Brandon. The challenger smiled. "Charizard, dodge and grab ahold of Milotic, and Snorlax-", he didn't get to finish. The atttack hit snorlax's stomach, the water hitting first, then Sceptile leaf blading him. Snorlax fell to the ground and fainted. Charizard grabbed ahold of Milotic and grinned. "Alright, seismic toss", said the challenger. "Milotic, no!", said Brandon, straining. Milotic was flung down and smashed right into Sceptile, causing them both to faint. "Both of Brandon's pokemon are unable to battle, the battle goes to the challenger!", said the refferee. The challenger walked to the next room with his pikachu behind him. Brandon smiled as he realized who it was.
Jeroukoo
ooc: Allright, time for me to meet the others.  The person shook his head. "No, no, I am not the the pokemon champion." Jason looked at the person standing there. "Ahh, you must be the person who escorts me. Well just ta-" The person cut off his sentence. "I'm afraid you don't understand. This isn't even real, chosen one." Jaosn looked at the person quizzically. "Not real? Explain to me how this is not real." The person smiled then erupted with a gaint blue light. Jason was blinded for a second. When he regained sight, he saw the king of the seas. Kyogre. You are marked as a destined. Jason looked at Kyorgre. "What..?" A war with the legendaries has begun. You and others will fight against it. "Why me?" Jason asked, almost surprised that someone of his age could be destined for anything. Becuase, Destined. Kyorgre began then paused. Your pokemon are one of the most experienced out there and they have the strongest bond with their trainers.
Envoy of Twilight
After his defeat, Brandon went to his home and went to sleep. As his eyes closed, the nice, cozy room had turned into a pit of lava. Brandon looked around frantically, and found that his body was nowhere to be found, but he could still see. "Brandon", said a deep voice. "Who's there?", said Brandon. "I am the creator of land, Groudon. I have contacted you because you must help a few other people save the planet." Brandon was startled a bit. "I will now transport you home", said Groudon. Brandon began to speak, but then awoke. "Wow", he said. "I need to stop eating pokeblock..." Envoy of Twilight
Brandon left his home and went back to his Elite Four room. He found a line of challengers waiting. Some had stayed the night in tents, others just stayed the night without anything but their pokemon, clothes, and a few snacks. "Alright", said Brandon, smiling. "I will battle all of you at once", he said, laughing. At the exact moment that sentence left his lips, every challenger in the room awoke. They all sent out their pokemon, roaring. The refferee was a little shocked. "Um, the battle will end when either the challenger's or Brandon's pokemon are unable to battle. Let the battle begin", he said, laughing softly. Brandon threw two pokeballs into the air. "Come on out, Sandslash and Glalie", he said, now frowning. Many trainers called out attacks, but Brandon beat them to the real strike. "Sandslash, amaze these challengers with a great sandstorm, and Glalie, show them your dark beauty, use hail!", Brandon said. He smiled as the weather effects combined, striking all of the enemy pokemon. After about three minutes of torture, all of the challenger's pokemon fainted. All of the trainers had a look of fear on their face. "The reason you all lost is simple. You made your pokemon wait a whole day to challenge me and they had absolutly no food, did they", Brandon said, still frowning. All of the challengers sadly shook their heads. "Now go home and train. Maybe I will face you all again someday", he said, his expression getting softer. All of the challengers left the room and Brandon sat down with his two pokemon and awaited more entertainment, I mean, challengers.
Pegasasu
((Waterboy- You are denied for several reasons. The title says accepting by PM, your app quality is weak... !!! I'm sorry- I just fealt like a total nag. You can try to reapply by PM if you want.))Â IC: Talia looked around- another Trainer had appeared in the strange place where she was. Talia stared at the person for a while, and then realized who it was. Her eyes widened in awe, she was striken. She was amazed. Wasn't that one of the former Elite Four members, Jason? Talia herself had seen all of the reali Elite Four members before- but not a retired one. She was excited. She was amazed. She was gaping. She was also confused. Talia wanted to speak to him, but she was afraid to be disrespectful- her mind was racing. She decided to just sit there, and stroke her Cyndaquill until something happened. Time Psyduck
Anwen looked around, trying to find a face she recognised, and finally settled on a girl stroking a Cyndaquil, who also happened to be one of the elite four. She was staring at some older guy who Anwen didn't remember being there before. Oh well, that's what asking said girl about him was meant to solve. After doing an almost instinctive check to make sure everything was fine, both with herself and the six pokéballs, each with a different design, that she had with her, she moved carefully over to said girl. "Talia?" she asked quietly, still not entirely certain of the girl's identity whilst also wanting not to surprise her, "where are we, and who is it you're looking at?" Envoy of Twilight
OoC: Anyone want to challenge me? Yes? No? Maybe so? Brandon was still sitting in his room when a challenger arrived. "Hey, I've come to challenge the Elite Four", said the challenger. "That's pretty obvious", said Brandon, standing up and calling his pokemon back into their pokeballs. "This will be a 2 on 2 match. I sure hope you have a strong team, because beating me will be no easy task. Just because I am the first of the Elite Four does not mean you do not try your hardest to defeat me", Brandon said, pulling 2 pokeballs off his belt. "Yes sir!", said the challenger, anxiously. The challenger pulled out 2 pokeballs. "Go Feraligator and Ninetails", said the challenger, sending both of his pokemon out. "Alright, come on out, Sceptile and Sandslash", Brandon said, sending out his pokemon. The challenger looked confused. "This will be a double battle. The battle will end when both of the challenger's or Brandon's pokemon are unable to battle. Let the battle commence!", said the refferee. "Feraligator, hydro pump on Sandslash and Ninetails, fire blast on Sceptile", said the challenger, smiling. "Did you honestly think that this would be that easy?" asked Brandon, laughing. "Sceptile, Sandslash, dodge", he said calmly. Both of his pokemon dodged the attacks with ease. "Sceptile, get behind Ninetails and grab onto one of its tails and throw it into the air, and Sandslash, use swift!" yelled Brandon. Sceptile grabbed one of Ninetail's tails and hurled it into the air and Sandslash jumped into the air and used swift. The stars struck Ninetails and it crashed into Feraligator. "No!", yelled the challenger. Brandon smiled. "Do as you please my Pokemon", he said, sitting down. Sceptile grinned and ran swiftly over to Ninetails and picked it up by it's throat. Sandslash ran over Feraligator and began rolling it. As Feraligator gained speed rolling, Sceptile threw Ninetails down on the ground. Sceptile then jumped in to air as Sandslash rolled up into a spike ball and dug into the ground. Sandslash used earthquake and Feraligator, still rolling, flew into the air. Sceptile shot down and used leaf blade on Feraligator, causing it to crash down on Ninetails, causing both of the pokemon to faint. "Both of the challenger's pokemon are unable to battle, that means Brandon is the victor", said the refferee. The challenger recalled his pokemon and left. "Weakling", said Brandon, recalling his pokemon and sitting back down.
Pegasasu
Talia looked at Anwen, smiling. It was amazing to talk to the Pokemon Champion- but she didn't show her anxiousness. "That's a retired member of the Elite Four!... I was forced to memorize then by my super-pushy father." Talia said with a small smile. "His name is Jason." Talia plunked Cyndaquil on her lap, stroking him lovingly. "I guess we'll be here for a while- so come on out, everybody!" Talia said, throwing her PokeBalls, and releasing her Pokemon-Floatzel, Feraligator, Gyarados, Blastoise, Dewgong, and Kingdra. She smiled, looking at all of her companions who had helped her get this far. "We may as well let our Pokemon stroll around for while."
Time Psyduck
"Oh," Anwen replied, "maybe I should look up all the former members. I had the complete opposite of a pushy father, and my mother was pushing another way. Then again if I need to know about them I could just ask you." For some reason she felt the man's name was familiar in the context of former elite four members, but whatever the reason was the dream had pushed it out of her mind. She took out each of her pokéballs, and opened them one by one without throwing them. From a standard pokéball, a Porygon-Z; from a white Premier Ball, a Bastiodon; from an apricorn-derived Friend Ball, a Roserade; From a pink Heal Ball, a Froslass; from a blue Net Ball, with black bands over the upper surface, a Gastrodon; and last but not least, from the two-tone green Dusk Ball emerged a Honchkrow. "Guys, we seem to be...somewhere. Get some air, but keep an eye out for each other, OK." As one the pokémon nodded, and they split up. The Porygon and the Honchrow began to examine the room, checking higher up towards the ceiling as well as lower down. Bastiodon settled down on the floor and closed his eyes, and Gastrodon did the same nearby. The Froslass also closed her eyes, but as if she were listening for something, whilst the Roserade looked around the room a few times and then proceeded use the back of the Gastrodon's soft body as a mattress. Anwen watched them and smiled. She had pretty much guessed at what they'd do when she let them out, and she was glad she was right - it was that understanding that let her become the champion. Envoy of Twilight
Brandon went back home and went to sleep. He tossed and turned and when he awoke, he was in a strange room with what looked to be strong trainers inside. He was puzzled. He didn't say a word, he just looked around. He seen a former Elite Four member, the Champion, etc. He was now very confused. Was this a dream? Was it reality? He had no idea. He just looked blankly around with his mouth hanging open. He noticed all of his pokeballs were still on his belt, so at least that was a good thing.
Lady_Killer
Nick awoke in Bed, startled by the events that had taken place. His butler walked in and spoke." Sir, are you alright. You were quite restless." Nick shook his head. I couldn't have seen Moltres for real could I? No, It was just a dream. Nick thought. "I'm Fine thanks for wondering. What of the Challanger?" Nick said in curiosity. The butler nodded."He is fine, and you won your challange for your houndoom stood up first." The butler said to him. Nick smiled at the thought of another win. The butler left the room and Nick layed back down. A familiar Voice boomed in his head.I am just a dream am I.
Jeroukoo
Jason looked around. People were sending their pokemon. Probably to let them get some fresh air. They were in some weird dimension, so letting their pokemon get some fresh air woul be a good thing. "Allright, get sme fresh air!" Jason pulled out the old and almost broken pokeballs and sent out his pokemon. Infernape came out first, fire blazing from his fist and head. Feraligatr appeared second insantly using water gun. He hadn't been out to fight in awhile, so he instantly wanted to kill. Aragon jumped out with a thump and a roar, a battle cry for him. Tropius was next, hehad not specil entrance. Topius had always been calm, he was the oldest one out of all of them, like Jason and the rest of the trainers. When Gardevoir came out, first looking around. Surprised with her surroundings, she walked over to Tropius. She liked to hang out with Tropius because she herself was also calm. Salamence was already out, he had flwon him to the Elite Four."So trainers, any idea why you guys are here?"
Envoy of Twilight
Brandon seen all of the trainers sending out their pokemon, so he decided to do so as well. He called them all out. Glalie was asleep, Sandslash was curled up into a ball, Sceptile was stretching, Milotic was testing it's mobility in the new place, Shiftry was glaring at an Infernape that was across the room, and Gengar was hiding in Brandon's shadow. "Anyone want to battle?", Brandon said, trying to make light of the strange situation.
Pegasasu
((Everybody better get here now, so they don't miss the epic part))Â IC: "Truthfully, Jason, if I am of a respect to call you that, I don't know why we're here. Anybody else have a guess why?" Talia said, sighing. Feraligator looked around at the other Pokemon cautiously, observing them all gingerly one by one. He did a slight nod of approval, and lay down, sleeping. Kingdra, on the other hand, "swam" around the room like a bullet- or possibly a rocket. Talia grinned at all of her Pokemon- she had bonded with them since they were just starters- and had made it all the way to here. "Maybe we're some kind of "Chosen Ones"." Talia said playfully- but just then, something strange happened. All of the sudden, the legendaries that had greeted everybody in Dream, rose. "Trainers, rise." A sweet, yet loud voice called- the voice of Dialga. "You have been called to help restore peace between the legendaries- we can hardly stand to be here together now. THere is a War between us all, and we may perish, also perishing your world." Came the swift voice of Palkia, staring at Dialga. "You may want to know that Dialga and I are not in this War, but yet we can do nothing to stop it but stand by and watch. YOu all are the only ones that can try and restore peace between us." Dialga said, and Palkia started to speak again. "Your first task is to persuade Jirachi and Celebi that this War is not worth it. THey may seem quiet and peaceful, but sometimes they can be filled with violent rage. You will start your task now." And the two legendaries vanished, leaving the Trainers in awe. Envoy of Twilight
Brandon blinked rapidly a few times after the legendaries dissapeared. "Um...anyone know how to do what the big guys just daid", said Brandon, still a little awed from the experience. He could barely believe what had just happened. He looked around at the other trainers. They were also in awe, some more than others. His pokemon, on the other hand, were just pacing behind him, sighing. It was obvious that they were bored. Did they already know about this? Did they get visited in their dreams too? He had to know.
Time Psyduck
"Hang on...too late," Anwen muttered as the legendary pokémon vanished. It's kind of like what the dragon in my dream said, there's a war and I - or we - have to stop it. The Porygon-Z came back to her and began to nudge her. "I get it, Enfys," she told the rather impatient pokemon as she pulled out the PDA. Almost immediately various pieces of information about the pokémon that had been in the room began to show up on the screen. Even with the PDA finding what it could from the internet as well, it was hopelessly incomplete - Enfys had only done a brief scan, and most of what was online was rumours and stories. She did however get an understanding of who they were supposed to be finding. "So we've been sent to tell two pokémon - that are little more than myths - that some war we know nothing about isn't worth it, and they didn't even give us a hint as to where they are. Helpful," she commented sarcastically as she called all of her pokémon aside from Enfys and Eria the Froslass back into their pokeballs.
Pegasasu
((I don't exactly know where Jirachi and Celebi are supposed to be in the anime, so I'll jsut make it up))Â IC: "Well, I think I know where we can find Jirachi and Celebi." Talia said shyly, staring dowm at her feet. "If they're real, and the myth isn't a lie, then Celebi should be in the Forest of Dreams. And Jirachi... well, Jirachi is only born like once every million years, like, reincarnated I guess, so I really don't know how we can get to Jirachi..." Talia stared at all of the Trainers slowly, making sure they were listening, and continued. "Anybody else have any ideas?" Talia said, waiting for the others opinions. Bringerofcake
OOC: Sorry about the lack of posts thus far. Other things have got me occupied. IC: "I might."Kaiten entered the scene. He walked with a slight limp, betraying his age slightly. He was calm, as he was always, and immediately noticed the air of suspicion surrounding the group."I am Kaiten, final Leader of the Johto Gym Challenge and bearer of the Fog Badge." He drew the Fog Badge as he said this. "I too have received a message from a legendary Pokemon, and have been drafted for this war." He put the Fog Badge away, and looked around at the group before him. There was definitely powerful trainers here, including, but not limited to, three members of the Elite Four and the Champion herself."As I was saying, in the ancient tongue, 'ilexie' is the word for 'dream'. It is said that the people of Azalea Town saw dreams in the forest nearby, thusly, Ilex Forest. There is a shrine to Celebi there, and through that, we might be able to contact it." Envoy of Twilight
Brandon smiled. "As for Jirachi", he started. "I have heard rumors, and yes I know they are only rumors, that there is a man who has found out how to awaken Jirachi whenever he wanted, not having to wait thousands of years. He captured Celebi and used it's power to awaken it. That might be why Jirachi is angry at Celebi, it sensed that it was Celebi's power and is now going after it. Celebi escaped of course, and has no choice but to fight back. I also heard the man is hiding away on Full Moon island. But, as I said before, this is just a rumor", Brandon said. Jeroukoo
"Alright then, guess we have to split up." Jason smiled at the trainers. Not much of them knew who he was except for Talia and maybe Anwen. "Simple, one group goes after Jirachi and one goes after Celebi. And I think either me or the champion should make the decisions. It doesn't matter who is with who." Jason looked at the trainers. "Maybe Gym leaders and trainers should go to together and Elite Four and Champion should go with each other." Jason paused to make sure everyone was paying attention to him. "If so, Gym leaders should go to Celebi, Elite Four go to Jirachi."
