sid meier alien crossfire help

i can offer help for anyone that is having trouble running alien crossfire first you have to find the alpha centauri.ini file it is located in computer/os files/program files/firaxis games/sid meier's aplha centauri(which you have to double click upon) then you have to add exactly this at the bottom

[PREFERENCES]

ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm=1

if you already have that line (forceoldvoxxelalgorithm=0) then just change it to a 1

(note:you will have to give your self adim controls before it will let you save if that doesn't work try running the program as adiminstater)

then you have to find the terranX.exe file (located in the same file) you go on prefferences (right click on terranx.exe) go on compatiblty change the compatabilty to windows xp (service pack 2) and give it adim privglies after that it should run in black and white or if your lucky colour
