Jason stumbled along, glad that he had finally spotted the Elephant. Kyer had rushed ahead, and the Major had gotten himself hurt. Jason turned as Kyer said something, and a strange chortle, which his suit translated, came through. Turning, Jason saw a Sangheili Zealot. Having never seen one before, he was in slight awe. Hearing the name, he started. He watched as the Elite jumped onto the back of a Mongoose that Kyer was driving. He opened the comm. "Hey, Spartan-176...You think that you could fit one more on that thing?" Patiently waiting for an answer, Jason continued walking towards the elephant.

((seriously come on. The elites are not evil. And are no longer part of the covenant. I think if anything, they would probably have started an alliance with the humans and tried to destroy the remaining covenant.))

Alex moved along the ledge and stopped, in front of him were a pair of Brute Stalkers. They weren't cloaked, but he recognised the armour. He moved back and one of the Brutes started sniffing the air.

"Hmm. I can smell human flesh." One said. The other sniffed as well.

"Yes. And blood. The humans are being attacked. Good." He gave a small chuckle, "We will be allowed into the battle soon. And then we shall feed upon the human heretics."

Alex felt his blood boil as the words came out. He lunged forwards and shot the first Brute at point blank range. By the time the second had realised what was happening, Alex had already stepped on the falling corpse and jumped over.

"You will never feast upon the humans." He shot the shotgun at point blank again, breaking the power armour. He finished up with a fist to the Brutes back, sending it screaming down the cliff face. It hadn't died from the attack, but when it's skull made a sickening crunch, Alex was satisfied he had done a good job.

Dylan saw a Warthog with no one in it. Perfect, I won't need that Mongoose now. "Spartan 176, I just found an abandoned Warthog, so I'll drive to the Elephant." he said into the comlink. He saw a Covenant Dropship going in. Better not let them know I'm here yet. Otherwise I'll be in trouble. He went the other way, to the Elephant. I just hope they got there too! He drove over whatever Covenant forces were in his way, there was no need for a gunner.

Kyer got on the mongoose and started driving towards Jason's position, "Ken'Tak, I'm sorry to say but it is the covenant we are fighting, right now we are going to pick up Spartan O919 and then we will make our way to the Elephant." When Kyer arrived at Jason's position a Banshee came flying towards them smoking, "What the hell? Aren't we the only ones on this planet besides the covenant?" Kyer got off and waited for Jason to get on, "It may be a little cramped Jay, these things are only meant to hold 2." Kyer laughed out loud at the thought of 3 or more spartans sitting on the small vehicle.

((Um I think sort of. But I believe that with the way the grunts felt about being used as cannon fodder, and the fact that Humans and Elites are much better at fighting than grunts. I think that Grunts wouldn't be a fighting force any more. But hey thats up for Blacx to decide.))

 

Alex looked out and saw that he was alot closer to the elephant than he previously had been. He used his zoom to check the mobile base, there were a couple of Spartans, but one was driving away on a mongoose. And he had a passenger, an elite aswell.

"Well thats unexpected." He said quietly to himself. As he panned around the area, he also noticed a wathog driving towards the elephant.

"Another Spartan? Unbelievable." He switched off the zoom and looked down at the ground. It was actually closer than before. He stepped calmly off the edge and braced himself for the ground. As soon as he hit the floor he was off, switching on his SPI he made a run for the elephant.

Great. I'm betraying my kind. Damn Spartans, I can't do a thing... Ken'Tak looked at the oncoming Covenant forces. He couldn't shoot them. It would be like killing family to him. He even befriended the grunts. Elites laughed at him for that, but he could kill them in an instant. Some he did. Jackals were coming in from the front. Ken'Tak didn't shoot. He could also tell a wraith was coming. It was typical Covenant tactic. Send the Jackals then a wraith. Ken'Tak looked over at the Spartan who drove the mongoose. "I cannot shoot them."

Jason ran over, and hopped onto the Mongoose. Taking the driver position, he motioned for Kyer to get back on. "Come on, we need to hurry. I'll drive; I've got more experience than you do. With me at the bars, there's less of a chance that that Banshee will blow the living sheet out of us." And I haven't driven one of these in a really long time. I just hope I still remember how to do this. As he waited for Kyer to get back on the Mongoose, Jason eyed the Banshee above, watching warily as it circled them, like some scavenger bird.

"Why the hell not!?" Kyer took plasma to the shoulders, he was bleeding everywhere, when the wraith appeared he skidded out and starting driving to the right, just then he was hit by a massive big plasma rocket, the wraith had got him. I'm done for...."Ken'Tak, Help me...." Kyer was still firing with his SMG but was doing little damage on the wraith, he rolled as fast as he could away from the big plasma rockets coming at him, "Jason! Get up here and help me, Spartan 135 Get here now and give me some cover fire with your rocket launcher!"

Jason saw that Kyer had taken damage. Leaping off the Mongoose, he rolled away. Not a second later, a Plasma Mortar crashed into it, destroying it. "Ahh sheet! I was gonna drive that!" Now angry, Jason hooked his SMG onto his armor. Without a moment to spare, he burst into a high-speed sprint. A mortar hit his location a second later, but he was already gone. As soon as he was close, the turret operator opened fire. Jason dodged all the little blue balls, slowly making his way to the Wraith. As soon as he was close, he took a mighty leap, and landed on top of the Wraith. The Brute in the turret shouted in surprise, but Jason slugged him in the jaw, knocking him out. Jason reached down, and pulled out a handful of Spike grenades. "Don't mind if I borrow these, right?" Then, he began pounding his fists on the cockpit entrance. With one final hit, he knocked the hatch off. The Brute inside looked up, and growled in anger. Jason just waved...and dropped the handful of primed Spike grenades in. He waited two seconds, then leapt off the Wraith. As he landed, the Wraith exploded behind him.

"Ugh.. Good job J-jason..." Kyer passed out. Where am i..? Kyer was in the room he was in when he was becoming a spartan. What?"Noooo, Please Nooo!!!!" There was a young 14 year old boy next to him getting his body, "modified" to fit the suit better, at the moment he saw this big needles were coming down towards him, Kyer closed his eyes in pain as the needles entered his body, "AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" Kyer screamed and then with flashes of his training at the camp, his friends, his family, dying... Kyer got up and ran for the head of camp with his SMG, he fired of a full clip into his head then reloaded, the security guards were coming, he finished off three of them and ran out of ammo, he took two knives off the dead security guards and started slashing open the other security guards, when everyone was dead Kyer started to cry, he was covered in blood, as if in simultaneous timing it started to rain, the blood washed off and he started running Where am I going... Anywhere... Anywhere but here...

Jason began walking, and heard Kyer start screaming. He was about to run over, and see what was the matter with him, when the Banshee screamed out of nowhere. Its Fuel Rod Cannon fired, exploding a few feet behind Jason. He flew into the air, and slammed back into the ground. Groaning, Jason pushed himself up. Got to...take care...of that...Banshee! Jason was getting weaker; his body was reaching its limit. Gotta be...more careful... He steadied himself into a stance, and waited for the Banshee to come back around. He watched as it wheeled in the sky, and drew closer and closer. With a small BOOM, another Fuel Rod was launched from the Banshee. Jason started running towards the Banshee, and leaped into the air right before the Fuel Rod hit. When it exploded, it sent Jason flying forward. He slammed into the Banshee's front, leaving a sizable dent in it. Jason crawled around back, ignoring the incredible speed of the Banshee. Gripping the leg of the Brute pilot with a vice-like grip, Jason ripped him out of the cockpit. The Brute screamed as it plummeted. Jason climbed into the cockpit, and activated his comm. "This is...Spartan-O919...I have...taken the Banshee...and are now covering...you from the...air."

"Spartan-176! Do you read me?" he shouted into the comm. He might be knocked out, or dead. No, I won't lose him! He arrived when the wraith exploded. "Is he all right?!" he said when he saw him. "Ken'Tak, can you tell us if you see any movement of Covenant? Spartan-O919, cover us from any aerial attacks from Covenant!" he said into the comm. Dylan put some pressure on the bleeding wound, to stop the bleeding. "Some send an evac now!" he said into the comlink.

((sorry, i haven't got a chance to post... i'm just sayig i ran through a forest on the top of the left side of the valley, and he just got there))

 

Right as Tom got the the edge of the cliff, he saw many confusing things. he saw an elite, a spartan, and a knocked out spartan, next to a burning warthog, he saw an exploded wraith, a spartan in a banshee, and the elephant. he was about to jump dow and join them, when another banshee started coming over towards the spartan. he shoots the banshee with his siper rifle, leaving a fair sized hole, then expertly stood up, and threw a plasma grenade, right in the hole. seconds later, the banshee explodes. "YES!!! THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!" he starts shouting, but then a brute with a jetpack notices him, and flies up to him. "Oh S***!!!" he then says whle jumping of the cliff. as he falls, he gets next to the brute, and throws another plasma grenade at it. it sticks it right in the foot, and it explodes seconds later. he hits the ground paifully, and says to himself quietly "all right, 2 for 2!!!" he then runs over to the elephants, jumps on top of it, and starts sniping.

IC: "Spartan-O919, can call for an extra man?" I said into the comlink. We need to get this guy medical attantion, now! "Ken'Tak, any Covenant forces in the area?" I said to the elite who was looking around. "Have any Spartans on foot found any trace of the Master Chief?" I said into the comlink. "If you have then alert any UNSC forces to go to the Master Chief." I said into the comlink.

Ken'Tak looked over the horizon. There was no one coming. No Covenant. Just their dead bodies. "You guys better get out of here. More of them will be coming soon." Being a Zealot, he knew the Covenant stop sending in forces for 20 minutes or so. Then a huge wave of them. Hunters, brutes, and a lot of drones. A lot. "Spartan. You need to take me to my ship. I have something that might come in use." Ken'Tak looked at the injured Spartan. The Covenant he knew would not waste ammo like that on one person. This was a different. "Also, Spartan, you might be facing something different. Something I have never seen before." The Zealot pulled out his Carbine. He was ready to kill.

After Tom snipes the rest of the grunts hiding on the other side of the valley, he looks around and does a damage report. he takes about two steps, then notices the major, laying right behind him. he starts looking at his wounds and sees a large hole in his leg. he puts a can of biogel in it, and helps him stand up. he then quickly hands him a nearby y shaped stick, to use as a makeshift crutch. he then jumps off the elephant, and runs over to kyer, and checks his wounds.

"I'm fine... Get everyone to the Elephant pronto." Kyer picked up a stim pack a brute had been carrying when he had died and injected it into his leg, he looked at Ken'Tak and stood up, "Ken'Tak, I will escort you to your ship, the rest of you get to that elephant now!" Kyer walked over to where he had dropped his guns from the explosion he picked them up and saw Jason flying in a banshee and thought to himself, What the hell is going on here...? Kyer started running towards Ken'Tak's ship, "There is no time to waste Ken'Tak, Hurry up!!!"

Jason saw Kyer get up, and say something to the Elite. Then, he began running frantically towards the battered Covenant ship. Clicking on his comm, Jason said to Kyer, "Don't worry, Spartan-176. I've got you guys covered from the air. If anything should decide to try and shoot you guys, I'll take it down in an instant." Checking Kyer's biosigns, he also said, "And no...Kyer, you're not fine. You've taken serious damage...worse than me. If you don't receive serious medical treatment soon, I'm afraid you may die."

"Jason.. If it's to save the MasterChief or the Major, I'll gladly die." Kyer had seen the ship in the distance so he started running even faster, he drew his SMGs and blasted out the banshees that had started chasing him, when he ran out of ammo he took out his battle rifle, shot out some Jackals and then continued running, he was charged by a brute, he whacked it in the head with his battle rifle then the brute knocked it away, Kyer took out his knife and slashed at the brutes face fiercely, even after it had died, he was covered in aqua blood of the aliens, "You see Jason.. I'm fine."

Jason sighed. "Just don't die yet. The mission's barely started." Jason looked at his sensors, and blinked. It was hard to tell who was friend or foe in that thing, considering the symbols for each were reversed. With a quick check, he spun the Banshee around. "I've got Ghosts incoming. Everyone, make your way to the Covenant ship. I'll hold them off with this thing." Spinning around again, Jason began flying in a Southerly direction. "I repeat, I will hold them off. Everybody, I mean everybody, this is an order, even if you are superior, to get to that Covenant ship!"

Ken'Tak ran towards his ship. There they could find many things about the new Covenant, new stategies, new weapons, and mayeb even new forces fighting for them. Highly improbable, but nothing is impossible. After a little running with the Spartan, Ken'Tak saw a purple thing coming off the horizion. My ship, finally. Ken'Tak could squeel with joy, as humans called it. His run then went to a halt. He saw brutes and grunts approaching his ship. Ken'Tak pulled out his carbine. "Be ready to kill, Spartan."

"Ohh yeah, I was hopin' for some action here." Kyer took out his battle rifle and fired a few rounds into the approaching covenant forces, 3 grunts fell dead, then out of nowhere a beam rifle shot had hit the gun out of his hands Lucky that wasn't my head.... The only weapons Kyer had now were his sniper rifle and his 2 combat knives. "Well Elite, spot that sniper and take him out, meanwhile I'll be killing those brutes." Kyer scoped in on the sniper it was harder to aim seeing as he was running, he got what he would call steady for a running shot on the head of one of the brutes, he waited for target to move just past the head of the brute and he pulled the trigger, the sheet had missed so he fired again and again, the 4th shot was a success he killed the brute with no worries, it fell to the ground dead, Kyer threw a grenade towards them and with a big Boom it killed the other brute.

Ken'Tak saw the sniper. He was moving to a safer area. His ship. His home. Ken'Tak shot at the sniper unti the clip of his carbine was gone. He successfully shot the sniper, but only in the leg. Brutes were rushing towards their fallen comrade, trying to help him get back up. He was probably the technicain in the force, the only one able to disable or reastablish the fallen ship. Maybe we cann use that to our advantage... "Spartan! Don't shoot the sniper!" Ken'Tak then focused his fire on the brutes now, taking them out one by one.

Alex was staying close to cover, he couldn't see the other Spartan's at the position he was in. He checked his HUD, the SPI was working fine, but he was in dire need of some shotgun ammo. If he was to do any damage to the covenant forces, he would need more ammo and a gun with better range. He looked in the direction of the fighting, but turned to the Elephant. He began running and made it to the Elephant with no trouble. Switching off his Camo, he moved over to a weapons locker. Filling his shotgun he noticed a battle rifle fully loaded. Placing the shotgun on his back, Alex shouldered the Battle Rifle and moved up to the top level of the Elephant.

"Yes sir Ken'Tak!" Kyer turned his fire towards the brutes, letting hell loose with his sniper on the other brutes, they fell dead due to head shots, Kyer jumped at the other brute with his combat knifes out, he stuck them into the brutes chest and kicked back off the brute so he flew back towards the Elite, he then threw both his knifes towards the grunts, both went into their back cones killing them instantly, he turned to the Elite and said "Hows that?" Feeling proud of his combat skills.
