Halo: Return of Master Chief [ADV/PG-16/] {Instalation 08: The Halo Hub Members Only}

John grinned, ecstatic to finally get something that can do some damage. He ran over to one pod, and pulled out a sniper rifle. 'Ahh, my favorite...' He grabbed the extra ammo and stored it on his person, then immediately fell into a crouch to get more stability, and started taking aim. 'Okay...target sighted...head shot...about 80% chance...' "Sir, I have a shot. Take it?"

"Fire at will, do whatever. Just Make sure you Kill something!" The Major Jumped out from the rock and Ran staight toward another pod and plucked the weapon out of it. It was a Spartan Laser. He charged the laser and hit the comander of the second squad of Jackals, which caused the rest of them to die. "C'mon boys, get your guns" Major shouted over the comm. The Major noticed Jay he was only a few yards away. The Major raan over to him, "Hey Jay you alright?"

Jason shook off Major. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just worry about the mission...and get me some ammo for this damn launcher." He limped away from the Major, and ripped open another weapon pod. It was only an M7 SMG. Oh well, it's better than this stupid magnum. Slipping the launcher over his shoulder, Jason pulled out his magnum. He activated its safety, and laid it in the weapon pod. As he laid it down, he pulled out the SMG, and also checked to see if there was any extra ammo in the pod. Seeing that there were two extra clips, he scooped them up, and stored them in his armor slots. Now all I need is some rockets and some explosives. Then I'll be ready to complete this mission.

"Yes sir...with pleasure." John fired, taking out a Brute with a head shot, then quickly taking out another as it ran straight into his path. After that they realized what was happeneing, and started taking cover. At least, three did. Two came running straight for the sniper, and paid the price. A quick round through one's knee took it out of the fight long enough to get in another head shot at the other. The first raised it's weapon and was about to fire when another round ended it's life. 'Four confirmed kills, three remaining...make that two.' John grinned wider seeing the three step out of their cover, and put three rounds into the chest of the farthest one, and took out the other two with headshots. After that, John took the short reprieve to reload, and go for another pod, finding some frag grenades. "Perfect." He tossed one immediately into the midst of a pack of Grunts, and almos laughed as one caught it, and they started tossing it from one to the other, finally blowing the whole group to pieces. The laughter ended after realizing an Elite had snuck up on him with a Brute Shot and was preparing to ram it through his back. He barely dodged, feeling the blade scrape against his shield, and rolled away, regrouping.

(Eleites Aren't the Enemy, and I'm Ending this battle, Halo isn't always about mindless violence. Make sure you end your current fight and then say after the battle.)

 

The Major Quickly Ended the Life of the Comand Brute. This caused the Jackals and the Grunts to scater. The Major then Dispatched the last Brute. After another half an Hour of fighting it was dark and the spartans had made camp. "Boys It's time I tell you something. That Atack by the Brutes was totaly unpridicted. You All Know were here to save one of our own. What You Don't know is that we are here for The Master Cheif." The Major Finished

Jason, who had removed his chest and back armor and patched his wounds, shifted around where he sat. "You mean...the Master Chief? As in the man who single-handedly ended the Human-Covenant war?" Amazing. I just thought we were off to rescue some UNSC people who had gotten lost on some strange planet. I never could have imagined that we were going to rescue the Master Chief! Jason looked around cautiously; after all, he had part of his armor removed, and could be taken out easily. Without warning, another flashback hit Jason. Jason was huddling in some cave. He could hear the steady dripping of some liquid, and a large roaring outside. "Oh God! They're being wiped out!" A crackled voice came on the intercom, and Jason shuddered, imagining what the Covenant could be doing to his brothers. But now, he just had to wait. If he was lucky, he would remain hidden, and then some UNSC spooks could come pick him up. Jason woke up, again having fallen unconscious. The team were looking at him, worry in their eyes. He waved them off, and turned to the Major, waiting for him to continue his story.

(Okay, sorry, thought I saw something about Elites int here, but I guess not. Also, that was my first avtual fight, and I wanted to make it good.)

 

After dispatching the enemy with a brutal melee assault, taking advantage of his shields and armor, John put one round into his fallen foe with the magnum and walked away, regrouping with the team. He listened to the Major, and thought to himself. 'Well, that certainly explains some things...but what else is out here, and how did they know where to go? Or are they even here for the same reason...? Hmm... "Sir, if we are to rescue the Master Chief himself, then why is there only us? I would think they'd send a little more firepower to retrieve him...unless this more secret then I thought."

"Look at your self John, Look at me we are Super Sodiers. But any way as we all know The Arbiter returned without Master Cheif. The Master Cheif Was in the cargo hold and it detached. We believe that the Master Cheif climbed into a Cryo Tube. The Carg Hold crashed into this Planet. We need to get to the Shelid Comand Center on this planet. That's It Get some rest we'll move out at the crack of Dawn, By then there will be an Elephant about 300 yards west of here" The Major then Went to Sleep.

"Shaun, Please don't dream like that" Said Shaun's Captain.

"I will be the Alpha Major" Shaun Screamed"

Jason nodded. The Major's words made sense. Well, no use dwelling on this now. I need to get some sleep now. Jason crawled away from the others, and unrolled a bedspread. After he was satisfied that the bedroll was set up to his liking, he climbed in. After a bit of shifting and getting comfortable, Jason finally fell asleep. Soon, he was in the neverwold of dreams.

 

Jason opened his eyes. Looking around, he realized that he was on some planet that he had never seen before. Yet, for some reason, it seemed familiar, like he had been there before. He saw a strange forest off in the distance, and heard explosions coming from it. He sprinted in the direction of the noises, and reached back to grab a weapon...He grasped nothing. Thinking quickly, he grabbed a big rock as he ran. When he reached the area where the noises were coming from, he was met with a strange sight.

Kisune unloaded the clip of the machine gun as the grunts all ran off. Then he ran over to the pods and grabbed a battle rifle and an assault rifle. He made sure to grab extra ammo from the pods as well. He regrouped with the rest of the team and listened to Major's story. "Well after a good night's rest we should move out quickly before another ambush. We have to find the Master Chief as soon as possible," he stated. Then once everyone was in bed, he decided to stay up and keep watch just in case. 'If Master Chief is still alive, then the war will probably restart into total chaos,' he thought as he sat there.

Alex had been listening to the conversation voer the radio, but hadn't really been paying attention until the words Master Chief had been said. He finished plowing down some Grunts and Jackals in the warthog and drove back to the others. Getting out he walked over to the closest Drop Pod and looked through its contents. There was a shotgun, with full ammo.

Brilliant. He thought, My favorite. And placed it on his back.

He checked through the small weapons and pulled out another magnum. Again with full ammo and Alex also took out some extra to put in his first pistol. Replacing his combat knife, which had been slightly bent when he'd fought the brutes, he took another and placed it on the magnetic panels in his suit. He then did the same to the magnums and made his way over to his fellow Spartans.

As he sat down to rest he heard Kisune speak. "I wouldn't be too sure. He was able to stop the war almost on his own. It could be that the only reason the remnants of the Covenant forces are around is they thought they had a chance when the Master Chief was dead."

Aroused by the voices, Jason woke up. He sat up, and saw that Alex had joined them. Wanting to learn more about the Omega Spartans, Jason got up and out of his bedroll. He pulled out his magnum, again just in case, as he had parts of his armor removed. He walked over, and sat down beside Alex. Jason agreed with Alex's words. "That's a good point, Lieutenant. Then, it would also make sense why the Covenant are here along with us. They must also be looking for the Master Chief, so that they can end him, and have a chance with the war again...That would make our mission all the more important...Hey, guys, I need to get some stuff from my SOEIV that I couldn't get before. I'm gonna go get it, so wait for me before you all move out. To make sure I don't get mowed down when I return, I'll give the all-clear signal when I get close enough." Standing, he turned and made his way to his bedroll. He rolled it up, and stashed it. Then, he reassembled his armor, reattaching his damaged parts. Without a second glance, he walked out of the camp, headed in the direction of his pod.

John went looking throug the remaining pods, looking for things that can be used, and picked up two more frag grenades, and some extra ammo for his sniper rifle. Then he sat sdown and waited with his fellow Spartan, making sure all of his weapons and his armor were in top condition.'Okay, that all made sense...but it still bugs me that the Covenant managed to get so close to us, and at the same time.' "Seems that we might need some bigger reinforcements, if things get too sticky. Any chance we could get a Scorpion here, sir?" he asked, a small grin on his face, half joking.

Tom's pod flies down to the ground later then everyone elses. it hits the ground, and pops open. he steps out, then notices that everyone else had already landed, and got into a fight. he pops open another pod, and finds 2 smg's. he picks them up, and attaches them to his thy's, along with a lot of extra ammo. he then finds the last pod, and finds a sniper rifle. "YES!!!" he says probably a little to loudly. he hears a faint howling noise off in the distance, and decides to run to what looked like a faint glow off in the distance. he starts running over towards it, and sees some other spartans sleeping, and one sitting there watching.

Jason heard the rumble as another pod hit the ground. Curious. It's too soon for them to send us reinforcements, so I wonder who that could be...Probably not too good. I'd better keep my guard up, just in case. Jason detached his SMG from his hip, and checked to make sure the safety was off. Then, he pointed it in front of himself, holding it in one hand, as he continued walking.......Soon, he came upon his SOEIV. He was happy to see that nothing had been taken. He worked quickly, and put all his armor in a special bag that was also in the pod. After he had that taken care of, he reached deep down into the compartment, and pulled out four canisters of C-12. This is going to come in handy...If not, at least we'll be able to have some fireworks when we finish the mission, right? Whistling a quiet tune to himself, after making sure his comm was off, he turned and began walking back to the camp.

Kisune watched the pod fall into the ground. 'Wonder who that might be,' he thought to himself. He quickly cocked the battle rifle and aimed in the direction of where the pod had hit. When he saw a person walking up, he continued to aim at him. He turned his comm on and called out to the man who was coming towards him, "Stop or be shot. Give your name, rank and Company." If the man did not stop he would shoot him until he was dead. If he did not identify himself, he would still shoot him until he was dead. The man would have to act quickly because Kisune did not take crap nor sarcasm.

The sitting shape of Alex did't move, but it did speak.

"Stand Down Spartan." He said coolly, "He came down in a SOIEV. And if you'd care to check your Friend or Foe Indicator, you'd see he has a Spartan tag."

He stood and stretched his arms out. Walking over to Kisune and waiting for the approaching soldier. The major hadn't said there would be othe spartans appearing, but then he now knew how things could be kept from others.

"Stand Down. I knew there were other Spartans were expected, But not so soon." The Major had semingly teleported from his sleeeping position to Standing behind Kisune. "Name, Designation, and Rank Spartan," Major said simply, "If your gonna work with us, we better get to know you." Major's Spartan Laser was on the ground where he was sleeping. His Assult Rifile was aimed at the ground.

As Jason walked back to camp, he noticed how quiet and eery it had gotten. Gulping, he tightened his grip on the SMG. Geez...I wish I had grabbed that rocket launcher too. I would feel much more secure holding that than holding this little...gun. Sighing, quietly, Jason continued walking back to camp. Without warning, a blue beam of energy sliced by Jason's head. He dropped to the ground, and, as he hit, his helmet rolled away. sheet! Guess I don't get any backup. Jason reached into a thigh pouch, and pulled out a small black cylinder. No use waking the other guys. He tightened the silencer on the SMG, once, twice, and once again for good measure. Suddenly, pain shot through his chest and back. He resisted the urge to scream, and gripped his chest in pain.

Bio(Optional): Kierryn was a marine until he got sliced over the eye by a plasma sword causing his eye to change colour, he was promoted to Spartan after serving "Ghost" in his battalion and helping Ghost when he gave his life to destroy the prototype weapon. "Be Human"...

Kisune responded to them both, "Yes I know, I saw, but still." He kept his aim on the man who was walking up. He wanted to be sure and careful as to not be tricked by anyone. His training had given him good discipline to be able to hold his weapon steady. He was also told to trust in his comrades, which he did do. It was just this extra Spartan out of nowhere that he was weary about. He waited for the Spartan to identify himself.

Tom notices everyone point guns at him, so he stops walking. he then hears someone ask him for his information over the comm. "Lucas Thompson, Spartan - M89, and seargent, sir." he then starts walking closer. he gets close enough for the other spartans to notice his strange armor combination. he looked very strange, but there was a reason for it.

"Alright Then," Major Seemed worried, "Where's Jason!" The Major ran full speed into the area where Jason's way point was, "No Sleep For Me tonight!" There was a Brute with an Energy Sword standing over a Lifeless Jason. The Major Made an Incredibal Jump and Landed in front of The Brute. The Major stabed the Brute in the face with his Knife. The Brute fell over, Dying. The Major picked up the energy Sword. "C'mon Jason Get up" The Major Pleaded, "All Spartans please report to my way point, We Have a Fight on our Hands." The sun was cresting over the hills in the distance.

Kisune lowered his weapon as the Spartan gave his information. He watched the major take off and looked in the direction he was heading. He then noticed Jason's tag and that it wasn't moving. 'This can't be good,' Kisune thought. Then as Major called to them, he jumped down from his spot and rushed to where Jason and Major was. "I'll take him out of here," he said as he saw jason laying there. He grabbed Jason and carried him in a fireman's carry. He carried him all the way back to the cave and waited until he woke up.
