Sephiroth_The_Legend
this card in the sneak peek was fair fun. but i must disgress, there are better cards out there.
Master Hyperion
Sakuretsu Armor outclasses this.
Chaos Flame
Sakuretsu Armor outclasses this. Spellbinding circle outclasses it (besides it still being vulnerable to mst).
Master Hyperion
Also, worst wording on any card ever. Some guy actually pulled this at a tournament and thought it was a good card because it inflict damage to the opponent on your Life Points or you gain Life Points. Too bad it's the opposite; either the controller of Changing Destiny receives damage or your opponent's gains Life Points. I tried to explain it, but he didn't listen, because he claims to be a better player then I am, because he ranked slightly higher then I am. I lol'd
darkwolf777
The issue is because of the poor wording. If you ever say "Your opponent", it always means the opposing player to the one controlling the card. Too bad that this card's effect is actually the opposite of that. Edit: I guess if you take it like GraveHorizon's take on it below and your opponent is then activating the card as if it were their own, then it kinda makes sense. GraveHorizon
I think the ruling says your opponent chooses the effect the Trap gets. If your opponent activates it, you get to choose which effect is applied, and they activate the effect as such. So your opponent either gains Life Points or inflicts damage to his/her opponent's Life Points, aka your Life Points. You just get to pick whether their Trap Card becomes half Draining Shield or half Magic Cylinder.
-Griffin
This was in the anime. Your opponent got to chose which effect and applied it too. Either way, toilet paper, next.

Sephiroth_The_Legend
no, the rulings that were concluded on this was your opponent chooses the effect. then they apply the effect from their point of view. i.eYou take damageor They gain LP it was fun in the Sneak Peek though because many a noob did not know the rulings behind it :P
Coffee Black
I actually got tricked by this card before. Also, it makes one monster not be able to attack again. That must count for something.
