ThunderousSonar
I like it, I just think that you are describing some stuff that you don't need to, we don't need to know the shape of Vanessa's mouth, but we do wanna know what kind of place we had to picture, what her body language was, stuff like that. Jk. Why I talked about her mouth (That sounded so weird)was because its what people do when hit in the stomach. They form O's. Maybe I could do more with describing the place, but I got caught up in the action. :D Thx for the constructive criticism.
Aviv: D's Knight
If I was the only one that noticed “Από τις σκοτεινές δυνάμεις μου καλούν τώρα, θα πρέπει να συμμετάσχουν σε τελετές μαζί μου!” is Greek and it translates into From the dark forces me invite now, should participate in ceremonies with me!Also are everyone's signature cards going to be not real(was Cerberus' card a darke card)?
Quiksilver
That is a rough translation. It actually means something along the lines of- "Dark forces, hear me now and bind them into rites with me!" Something like that. I see you know how to use Google Translate. And as for your first question, yes, probably. I like to make cards that go with the person, you know? And as for the second question, no. You'll be able to tell when the first Darke Card appears...(Remember, the Darke Cards control the humans, unlike the Lighte Cards, who work alongside them.) Quiksilver
Meh. He's okay, but I can't really make a tektek that is crippled. Also, he would be hard to put into the story. If you have any other character ideas, pm them to me.

Quiksilver
And...ta-da! Its up! Chapter 5!! Sadly, you'll have to wait for Chapter 6 for a glimpse of the elusive Seraphim Cup. I'm sorry, but I'm all hyped up about this story now, so it probably won't be long until it's up. [spoiler=Working Out Problems the Old-Fashioned Way- Through Dueling]The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it. –Arnold H. Glasgow***Damon There I was, deep in enemy territory. My heart was pounding, my blood was racing. And there she stood, my enemy,- Smiling widely at me. “You here for the tour, sweetie?” The Mirage Industries receptionist asked. Yep, I was at Mirage Industries. The reception room actually. Though the term room didn’t accurately describe this place- It has a huge, vaulted, glass ceiling that looms down over the stylishly modern waiting room, which had a total of 18 coffee table and 36 chairs spread out decoratively across the room. “I said, are you here for the tour?” The receptionist asked again, pulling me out of daydreams about how much crystal went into the chandelier masterpiece lighting this place. She leaned across the glass counter, which was a masterpiece of glass in itself, towards me. “Um, yes.” I fumbled for my wallet. “Yes, I am here for the tour.” I pulled out several bills and handed them to her. Her smile impossibly stretched even further, and she accepted the bills. “Good!” She purred, throwing her blond hair over her shoulder. “The tour should start in approximately 20 minutes.” I nodded absentmindedly, accepted the change for my bills, and shambled over to one of the chairs. When I got there, I immediately pulled out my shiny new cell phone, and dialed Trey’s number. “Yello.” I heard Raina answer. “’Sup, Raina.” I replied to Raina’s answer, unable to help grinning. It was several days after I had first met Raina, and me and Trey (Vanessa seemed immune to this) had found her a riot. She was the funniest girl I had ever met. I was remembering the joke she had made last night about the doorman. Good times…. “Is Trey there?” I asked. “I’m at Mirage Industries.” “Oh.” Raina’s voice sounded a whole lot more serious. “Yeah, he’s here.” I heard her put down the phone, and after a short amount at time, Trey picked it up and his deep bass voice rumbled, “Yeah, Damon? In all right?” “Yeah,” I said. “I’m in.” “Good,” He replied. “See if you can find anything about…,you know.” The Darke Ones, he meant. “Yeah, I will. And about the Lighte Cards, too.” I added. “Right…” Trey sounded uncomfortable. He wasn’t completely with the idea of how my, and Vanessa’s cards how somehow come to life. (Yeah, I just found about Vanessa’s Golden Alloy Lion, coming to life. Weird, huh?) “Okay, you do that.” Trey continued. “Report back to my apartment after you do.” “Right. Okay, well, see ya.” “Bye.” I hung up and put the phone back into my pocket. I looked around, trying to see if there I could see any Darke Ones in the other waiting people, and I looked directly into the face of my Metamorphic Dragon. Need to find out more about me, Damon? “Ugh!” I almost shouted, but managed to turn it into a whisper. It would look very weird if I had suddenly shouted out at thin air. “Don’t do that!” I hissed. “It freaks me out!” Sorry, Damon, but I’m now trapped in your Metamorphic Dragon. This is the only way I can communicate with you. “It’s…not really fine, but whatever. Why are you in my Metamorphic Dragon?” I asked. Because I needed a form to take when you were in trouble. You see, up until that point, I was just in your head. “Don’t remind me,” I muttered, but the Lighte Card ignored me and went on. After I possessed your card, it was like taking on a new face; I became your Metamorphic Dragon. I was able to repel the Darkeness in that form, and that is why I took possession of your card. Now that I have done this, though, I am bonded into your card. You understand? “Not really-” I started, but then a voice interrupted me. “All for the Mirage Industries tour, please gather by the door!” A thin, brown-haired man stood by a door at the back of the room, wearing black pants and a crisp white button-up shirt with the Mirage Industries logo on it. “We’ll continue this later,” I whispered to Dragon. I got up and, with a gaggle of other people, walked to the door. “So, this all of you?” The man asked, and continued on without waiting for an answer. “All right, let’s start the tour!” He cheerfully opened the door and walked through. We followed him into an everyday hallway, lit by soft white lights. He continued on towards a set of double doors at the end, gabbling about the history of Mirage Industries as he did. “Yes, Mirage Industries was founded in 1989, by Berg Rusct Heartre. Mr. Heartre is still president of the company, as a matter of fact. Mirage Industries was originally founded to provide the Duel Monsters virtual reality technology, but, as our fame has grown, we have come to provide much more than that, including Duel Disks, and Duel Runners. We are now the number one Duel Monster technology provider. And now, ladies and gentlemen, you will see where all of these things are made!” With this dramatic prelude, the man threw open the double doors. “Woah…” The other tourists oohed as they craned their heads forward to look in. I craned forward eagerly too, but for a rather different reason. I was looking for evidence of the Darke Ones. In these pursuits, the tourists were rewarded, and I was not. Inside the doors was a technical wonderland. Pulleys, assembly lines, and other complicated bits of machinery worked up and down the factory-like space, and none of these objects looked remotely like they contained evidence of Darke Ones. I inspected them nevertheless, looking surreptiously into them as the tour guide walked us past them, chattering incessantly about the production of dueling tech. I had no luck, though. Not one piece of machinery in there had anything Darke about it. But you never knew… Could that woman there be threatening me with her outstretched hand? No, she was calling to her children, who ran to her laughing. Could that teen be saying a Darke chant, or whatever it was? No, he was just listening to his iPod. Nothing was Darke around her. I didn’t even bother listening to what the tour guide had left to say. I stormed out of the factory room and back into the reception room, in a very black mood. I nearly tore the pamphlet the receptionist offered me out of her hand, and I barely paused to read it. I angrily strode towards the door, but then something I read in the pamphlet clicked in my mind and I stopped dead in my tracks. I looked down at the pamphlet clutched in my hand and read it again, more carefully. Suddenly, a grin spread across my face and hope once again visited me. Mirage Industries had something to do with the Darke Ones, I could just tell. As today’s tour had shown, It was not going to show this association freely, but instead, I would need to be able to more closely look at Mirage Industries…and this thing on the pamphlet presented a opportunity to do just that. *** It was getting late when I finally arrived at Trey’s apartment. As the wall in mine had been blown in, Trey, Vanessa, Raina and I were hanging out in Trey’s apartment, which was right across the hall, for the time being. As I walked in to the apartment, the first thing that greeted me was the scene; A kitchen/living room, just like mine (but much cooler), that was currently host to a Duel. “Woah,” I said, gathering in the scene. A small dining room table had been pushed against the wall and a two ultra-modern couches had been shoved together to make room for the duel, and it was in the little space on the couches Trey sat, watching the duel with interest. Raina and Vanessa stood facing each other, each looking down at the cards in their hand. I shambled over to Trey and asked, “What’s going on here?”Trey turned to grin at me. “Raina and Vanessa have decided to resolve their…issues.” “Mmhm.” I said, looking at the Duel. On Raina’s field there was a swordswoman in red armor and a blue dragon with diamonds on its chest. She had 2600 lifepoints. On Vanessa’s field there was some sort of ship shaped like an eye in defense mode and Different Dimension Gate on her field. Vanessa had 2000 lifepoints. “Now, then,” Raina said, and I realized it was her turn. “I summon King’s Knight (1600/1400) to the field. Since both he and Queen’s Knight (1500/1600) are on the field, I can special summon Jack’s Knight to the field!” A large man in gold armor appeared next to the woman in red armor, who I now took to be Queen’s Knight. Queen’s Knight joined hands with King’s Knight and they glowed for a second, and then suddenly a taller knight in blue armor appeared next to them. (1900/1000) “Now, since Jack’s Knight, Queen’s Knight, and King’s Knight are here,” Raina grinned. “Fusing these three monsters, I can Fusion Summon Alkana Knight Joker! (3800/2500)” The three knights seemed to melt together for a second, and then they were gone. In their place was an intimidating man with purple hair, black and gold armor, and an awesome sword. “Now, I activate the card, Secret Tuner, (900/800), effect from my hand! What it lets me do is Synchro Summon with it from my hand!”A black shadow suddenly launched out of Raina’s hand and split into three rings, which began to circle the dragon, who I realized was Luster Dragon. Suddenly there was a blast of light, and over it, I heard Raina’s voice- “With gracious rulers and loyal citizens, peace will know no bonds! Bring peace back through victory, o great dragon! Synchro Summon! Wise Flame Dragon!” Suddenly the Level 4 monster was gone, and in its place was a brown and red dragon, with a peaceful face but with flames licking up its hoof-like feet. (2100/2000) “And now, for the final piece in the puzzle.” Raina said triumphantly. “I activate Fusion Recovery, placing Polymerization and Queen’s Knight back in my hand. Now, look at the field. There is one Dragon-Type Synchro monster, and one Warrior-Type monster. Now what do you think can be fusion summoned by these two cards.” Vanessa drew in a sharp breath. “You don’t mean to summon…” She started, but Raina cut her off. “So you know what I’m going to summon! Great. Well, here goes- I activate Polymerization and send Wise Flame Dragon and Alkana Knight Joker to summon…Surging Dragon Knight Dragoequites!!!” (3200/2000)The two monsters disappeared and in their place, a large blue man with red dragon-like features, two blue wings, and a huge dragon bone sword stood in their place. It was terrifying…and so cool. “Whoa, I didn’t think it was out on the market yet…” Trey breathed. Raina heard him and smiled. “Well, when your uncle is a multi-billionaire, you can get a good card or two,” She said lightly. “So, time to finish this duel. Surging Knight Dragoequites, use your special effect! By using this effect, my knight can take the effect of any Dragon-Type card in my graveyard and use it as his own! I use Wise Flame Dragon’s effect, which lets me do Piercing Damage! If I attack your D.D. Scout Plane (800/1200), you lose lifepoints equal to the difference between Dragoequites attack points and its attack points. And since you lost half of your lifepoints earlier in this duel, that means its game over.” She smiled. “Now go, Dragoequites, and attack D.D. Scout Plane!” The large dragon man launched at the puny plane, swinging down its large blade on it. It exploded before it! “Hah. Looks like that’s game over.” Raina deactivated her Duel Disk. “So…that get you anger out at me, or what?” And to my disbelief, Vanessa smiled! “Yes, it actually does,” She said. “You’re a good duelist.” Whoa. That was…weird. They worked out their anger through dueling? Sigh. Women… “So, Damon-” Trey’s voice suddenly hit me. “Was the mission a success?”I turned back to him. “Um, no.” I said. Why had I been all happy about it a second ago? I looked down at my hand and saw the piece of paper crumpled up there. Oh yeah! “If it wasn’t a success, why do you look so happy?” Vanessa asked quizzically. “It’s because of this! Look!” I held up the paper for all to see. On it was inscribed the words, SERAPHIM CUP, and below that was a graphic of Duel Monsters, all reaching for a crystal cup in the middle. On the bottom was more writing. “This will help us find the connection between Mirage Industries and the Darke Ones!” “A… card tournament? How does that help us?” Raina asked. “Look at the bottom.” I said impatiently. “It says that this is a tournament to help serious amateur duelists get into the big leagues. The winner of this tournament will gain a place in the next tournament…and be sponsored by Mirage Industries.” “So?” Trey asked. “Think about it! A pro duelist needs a sponsor, to provide for him equipment and stuff, right? Well, this Mirage Industries is volunteering to do just that…and I bet we’ll be able to get real close with Mirage Industries if one of us win the tournament and become their duelist.”Raina gasped. “Your right! We’ll be able to go all sorts of places in Mirage Industries once they sponsor us. We’ll get all the dirt we need…Now all we have to do is get into the tournament. Where is it?” “New York City, it says.” I grinned. We were nowhere close to New York. But that didn’t really matter…“Anybody up for a trip?” Raina, Trey, and Vanessa looked at each other. Then, as one, they said, “We’re in.” END OF CHAPTER 5 NotesHaha, sorry. But the Seraphim Cup is not actually in this chapter. You'll have to wait till next. Also, I changed the name since it didn't seem to accurately reflect what was going on in this chapter. For those of you who are going-Wut? Why is Raina's card different from the other guys? Its Level 10 and stuff-, its because I decided to only have two main Lighte Cards, and so every other signature card doesn't have to be a Level 8 matching monster kind of thing. Too complicated? [spoiler=Cards Used In Chapter 5]Secret Tuner/EARTH/Warrior/Tuner/900/800**This card can be used for a Synchro Summon while in your hand. Wise Flame Dragon/FIRE/Dragon/Synchro/Effect/2100/2000******1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Dragon-type monsters This card can do Piercing Damage.
