Uh... when outnumbered, never split your forces, unless on mountanous terrain.

Yes, because it is very easy to ambush a larger enemy with a smaller force within mountanous areas.

Well, that may not be common knowledge, but it certainly is a battle tactic basic.

True. I'm not so good at explaining things like that myself, though I do try. I'm better at acutally doing it, and best with actual tactics, rather than the overall strategy. Generally speaking, real life tactics are done at a split-second, with little or no time to plan. For example, soldiers have to think tactically. Generals and other high ranked military usally get to that point by being able to think strategically as well, and knowing their tactics well enough to understand how best to utilize the assets at their disposal.

 

And DL, Code Geass is the single most incredible anime ever to exist, the fact that it took you so long to get around to it is enough for a demotion. *demotes you from New Student to...latrine cleanup*
