Strategy, tactics, and creative thinking. It has three main layers:

You have a world map, on which each Faction is moving possibly millions of individual units, attempting to conquer the world. On here you'lla lso be managing money, supplies, and other things. This is the strategic map.

Then on each grid of the world map, battles are fought on smaller maps between units, Knihtmares and battleships alke. Here you can do things like set mines, collapse a tunnel under the enemy, and set forests or plains on fire to weakend the enemy force. This is the tactical map.

Then you have Science, which is freeform creation of new equipment, weapons, and units. msass Production units, protoypes, and the rare Customs.

It's the single largest strategy game ever played ona forum I believe. its' also based on the anime Code Geass.

Chess is a mind game, yes, but when measuring the output of skill Strategy is used more than tactics.

While utilizing both, the game enhances strategic thinking more than tactical thinking.

Checkers is the opposite however.

Oh btw, you might want to move the Generic Ability thread to gameplay.

Well I was going to do something like:

Burai vs Vincent

Burai pilot level: 5

EXP kill worth: 50

Burai modifier: +.04

Vincent pilot level: 7

EXP kill worth: 70

Vincent Modifier: +1.1

So you would do this, say the Burai won (somehow)

Burai pilot gains: 70EXP + 70(1.1)EXP = 147EXP

But I'll work on it more after I get some sleep.
