Sploda
Your defense requires that the enemy leaders go into combat, which usually isn't the case.
Ultimate Assassin Ninjew
That may be true, but only the greatest wars are fought and won if the leader is present.
Sploda
The Greatest war is the one fought not with weapons, but with words.
The Amazing Avian
Quote from The Art of War? Anyway, Createur explained everything I had to say about the subject. Without a main camp the army will be disorganized and there will be a huge loss in morale, leading to desertion and defection.

The Amazing Avian
The 3rd battle of Kawanakajima had that option. At least I think it was the third battle, if not the second because by this time Shingen Takedaand Kenshin Uesugi were well acquainted. Anyway, Shingen led his main force in a full charge and one of his generals Yukimura Sanada led half of Shingen's army around the mountain pass towards the main camp. The charge proved succesful in halting Kenshin's advance and holding the main camp as a choke point, but it didn't completely stop it. Eventually the Uesugi army retreated, but not without putting a big dent in the Takeda army's numbers. This battle actually happened and and it is playable in the Samurai Warriors games. In the games there are some events that never actually happened for example in the game, Shingen is assassinated while in history he died due to disease. deathghost101
The truth is always bent alittle bit, when something that really happened is made into a movie or a game.

The Amazing Avian
It was actually the fourth battle, my bad. and I just looked at the wikipedia page and it turns out the main attack was by the Uesugi. Kōsaka Danjo Masanobu left Kaizu with 8' date='000 men, advancing up Saijoyama under cover of night, intending to drive Kenshin's army down to the plain where Takeda Shingen would be waiting with another 8,000 men in kakuyoku, or "crane's wing", formation. However, whether via spies in Kaizu or scouts looking down from Saijoyama, Kenshin guessed Shingen's intentions, and led his own men down to the plain. Kenshin descended from Saijoyama by its western flanks. Instead of fleeing Kosaka's dawn attack, Uesugi Kenshin's army crept down the mountain, quietly using bits of cloth to deaden the noise of the horse's hooves. With the beginning of dawn, Shingen's men found Kenshin's army ready to charge at them—as opposed to fleeing from the mountain, as expected.[/quote']

Akumakagemaru
I've played Fire Emblem (in Japan' date=' it was known as Burning Blade)Sacred StonesRadiant DawnShadow Dragon BB was epic. Sacred stones had awesome characters, for the most part, but... it left a lot to be desired, and, compared to BB, it dissapointed. Radiant Dawn was truly great, but the support conversations left a lot to be desired. Shadow Dragon was actually harder than its predecessors, to me.[/quote'] Except for RD (which I havent' had much chane to play, as well as SD), hose ae pretty much my sentiments. Then play the original one. It's simply called Fire Emblem. If you liked Sacred Stones' date=' after playing that one, you'll be like "Why did I waste my time with sacred stones?" Burning blade (the Japanese name for what we know in America to be simply Fire Emblem) was much better than Sacred Stones, plot-wise. And gameplay-wise. Though the characters in SS were, admittedly, quite lovable.[/quote'] Again, my own sentiments.Choke point because you can suppress the enemies numbers down to where you can control and handle them' date=' causing you to begin to overpower them.[/quote'] Hello' date=' i have been gone fore a while.....How are you people...(Off topic : I finnished Code Geass sesson 1, where can i find R2 ?)[/quote'] Congrats! Try animefuel.com (I think), that's where I watched it. +1 Rep for finishing Season 1! How'd you like it so far? @ Le Createur: Well, well, seems you've ben busy in my absence...you've done well.
