Akumakagemaru
All right, ropic for now is... Your favorite displays of strategic planning. Mine is the Battle of the 300, where 300 Spartans held their line against Persians who outnumbered them more than 100 to 1.

Akumakagemaru
lol. @ deathghost: Yeah, brilliant planning, neutralize the enemy's numbers by forcing them into a chokepoint...and the Persians fell for it. @ mason: Was it like Star Wars, or a standalone book? In books, I love Ender's Game, though I cant' recal a particular isntance well, because of how long its' been since I read it.

Akumakagemaru
@ deathghost: Yeah...though I thought they die because they were betrayed, and their rear was left exposed, or is that just something I've heard from the movie? @ mason: Yes, i have, and I preferred the first two, honestly. Okay, I went to User CP, Edit Profile, and the bottom right corner, Away Information.

deathghost101
And all that happened when zerxese came out on his golden chair.......and from the start of that scene, there rear was exposed,.........they only worried about killing whats in front of them........ Akumakagemaru
@ mason: No. You have to tell it you're going to be away... Away Status: *I'm Away *I'm Here Like that^ @ deathghost: Ahh, i see. Well, they knew they would die anyways because they couldn't hold their formation from two angles, not against their now effective numbers. Ultimately it was one man's betrayal of leading the Persians to the path.

Akumakagemaru
@ mason: You actualy need to click "I'm Away" apparently. I just clicked "I'm here" and it changed. @ deathghost: Yeah...though he was stupid not to understand that there was nothing he could do to help in actual battle, and even more stupid to betray them out of spite...thouhg remembeing what Xerxes offered, I can kinda see his point of view... Pikachu
The Persian-Spartan war was nothing compared to The Battle of the Three Kingdoms. I loved the tactic where one empire sent lots of ships filled with hay (you'll know why later) in a foggy day to the enemy. The ships had no one in except the steerer. The enemy, thinking that the ships were their enemy, attacked him with s***loads of arrows. The arrows all went through the hay and into the ship and the ships collected the arrows and returned back home. ;D
