It's one in OVER 98000!!!, so you'll be sitting with your DS for awhile. Chaining is relatively easy, but becomes stale. So I watch YouTube while chaining. :/ I chained 44 Voltorbs on my PokeRadar in a valiant attempt to get a Shiny. It didn't work out. -_- Wild FLOATZEL appeared! "FUUU-" That... actually is hard to believe. I haven't chained in awhile, and I don't know if the logistics changed in HGSS, but in DPPt, 40 is the maximum ratio for a shiny. And iirc, once you have a chain of 40, the percent of finding a shiny is 50%. So if you went to 44, the percent of you not finding a shiny is 1 out of 16. Not horribly unbelievable, but you may have been mistaken. Maybe your chain was 34? Because I've chained many shinies (at least 12), and I always hook one at 40 or 41, or maybe even in the mid-30's. :/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
