I feel bad for the Fire starter though...the Water starter's final is going to be Water/Ground (inb4swampert) and the Grass is going to be Grass/Steel. Water/Ground and Grass/Steel each only have 1 weakness' date=' Grass and Fire respectively.

 

The Fire's final is going to be Fire/Ice (I JUST f***ing WENT THERE) and has 4 weaknesses. Water, Rock x4, Fighting and Ground.

 

Since you're for the Shark, how about helping me name it? It's going to be mainly based off of a Thrasher/Nurse Shark mix (which explains the Ground sub-type).

If I recall correctly, Bulbasaur is the only starter that starts out with a sub-type. Unless Chimchar is Fire/Fighting; I didn't pick the damn monkey, so I wouldn't know.

~I'm screwed against Lead Ninjasks.

~If Azelf dies without setting up any barriers or Exploding, I usually die.

~The Gyra/Jolt combo is very nice.

~I'm still bad at predicting. D:

~I love my Togekiss.

 

Also, I got hit with moves like Spike Cannon and Aurora Beam during my visit. >_>

You are most likely faster, but Azelf is definitely frail. I never liked Azelf as a lead, so I'm a bit shocked that it is number one most used in standard.

Gyarados and Electivire is even better because no one predicts it, and trying to beat a +1 Speed Electivire with a pretty nice type coverage is hard.

It'll come in time. The time you have to make a move is five minutes, so think things over before you do something. And don't predict early game. Make the most obvious choices, since a mis-counterprediction is horrible.

 

~I love my Togekiss.

 

Togekiss is awesomesauce, since it's hard to take down and Nasty Plot is <3

No, keep Jolteon. Adding Electivire would give you a third physical attacker, which may pose some problems.

 

I was thinking about posting a team-building guide on YCM, but I don't really have the time. Maybe I could collab with someone, but we'd most likely be ripping everything from Smogon. :/

Female Hasty Ralts with Trace or Male Calm Ralts with Synchonize?

 

My optimal Ralts would have been Female, with Trace, with the Nature Modest, Timid or Calm.

 

Hasty isn't horribly bad, since Gardevoir has shit DEF anyways, but I don't know if I want to pass up a Calm Ralts.

 

I wanted Female because you can't fap to a male Gardevoir I wanted my team to be sexually balanced so contents of testosterone and estrogen don't get too high so I am not sexist.

 

It's not like it is a competitive battling issue where I MUST HAVE TIMID or else I'll die, but Calm is a REALLY GOOD nature for Ralts, and I'm having trouble deciding.

 

Although, with Female gender and Trace, I'll probably take the first one. I'd just like some input.

Yes, Calm is quite awesomesauce. But even with +Spe and -Def, it still gets amazing growth in SpA and SpD, despite it not having a beneficial nature. And it gets some Speed boost, which it needs to... oh, NOT DIE.
