I'm saying 1 star as in new to the site. Which, this is often a gateway to the internet, so 1 star does in fact mean n00bish at times. I've seen MANY noobish 1 stars. Also, you notice as stars go up, n00bness goes down. There are exceptions, but that is general.

Well, just so you know, the NDL is a place for all newbs to find a safe place from the trolling, hostile, hellfire that is YCM. All the members in the NDL have never said a bad word to one another. We like it, as it is a place for newbs to express themselves without being trolled or flamed. Because, believe it or not, new people tend to leave YCM when they get flamed. And we want YCM to grow, right?

I don't think you are, or were, a n00b. Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone will be given a pardon, in my opinion. My thing is that I want them to try harder. I understand the NDL does good, but at the same time I feel like giving every single new person a place like that is a bit much. Not that they are new, but that some are.... n00bs. I think I'll call them Newbs when they are new, but not ignorant. We were all Newbs.

 

Technically, Ice said something bad aboutn00bs, just not the NDL.

 

Also, I understand standing up for a place you have a hand in. Enrise and I get along swimmingly, but the first time we 'met' he insulted my club, and we got into a fight.
