BTW, is it possible to breed a pokemon to gain its dream world ability by breeding it with a pokemon that has said dream world ability?

Like Wobuffet+Chandelure=?

From what I remember about Dream World abilities if the mother has one their is a 50% chance the offspring will have it. So you wouldn't need the Wob, just two Chand with the mom having Tag.

I still disdain that they changed the rotom's type based on what machine it inhabits. I don't have a decent spin blocker anymore ;-;

While that is more of a topic for the general thread, we did get some nice new ghosts this gen. The jellyfish makes for a good blocker, and so does Dusknoir.

 

Also, Wash Rotom is amazing.

I have it :D. Also getting a good nature on my starter is going to be a pain.

 

Edit: Going to go with Lax since I don't want to keep on doing those battles. And yea, my starting nature was Jolly. I would kill for some pokemon to have that from the start, but not my starter. Also I WANT TO RUN!!!! I just got them, thank god

Both you teams look good. Again in games teams aren't as hard to do, so don't worry to much.

 

Any picked up fire monkey as a safe guard in the gym. That should be super fun with "just" my stater.

 

Edit: He used Work Up 4 times and let me win. Thank god.

 

Edit 2: I got into a double battle and since I'm not using fire monkey I nocked him out myself. I'm a very odd person :D

 

So, after putting the fire monkey away I run into my rival with the grass starer and I was just like FFFFFFFFUUUUUU. He then used on stat changing moves. Man I'm lucky.

So, I'm at the second gym and I REALLY hate sleep. Between that and defense drop from Crunch I was going to loss. Gogo soft reset.

 

Edit: So second go around I gave me one pokemon the wakening barry and changed up my teams order a little. Lost the mole to her dog (-DEF nature is not helpful at the start of the game) and had my Otter finish off the other two (+DEF nature is helpful). Didn't even need the berry which kind of sucks. Meh, can't get lucky in all battles.

Well beat the 5th gym and I'm on way to Celestial Tower, Tynamo took less time to catch than I thought. Love Elesa's gym it's awesome. None of the gym teams are really giving me any challenge, even if my team is very close to their level. I have noticed that bird pokemon seem to be less and less common, remember RBY, Pidgey was on every route...(only because I needed them for Tynamo). Audino is awesome, I got 400 EXP from a Lv 9 ffs.

 

The art for Pokemon Black's legendary looks rude lol.

 

Watchog is scary with Crunch and Super Fang.

 

Team so far

Serperior - Lv 39 (Hasty - Tackle (lol), Leaf Blade, Mega Drain, Wrap)

Eelektrik - Lv 39 (Naive - Crunch, Thunder Wave, Spark, Charge Beam)

Krokorok - Lv 38 (Mild - Dig, Torment, Sand Tomb, Crunch)

Swoobat - Lv 37 (Careful - Fly, Heart Stamp, Air Slash, Assurance)

I'm gonna keep the Water Monkey just for Surf atm.
