It's been a while since I visited YCM. Anyone remember me? My username used to be XxHighVoltagexX.

I looked at the new pokemon, and I'll be picking the Grass or Fire starter. I think the final form of the Water starter is ugly. I might use the Water monkey though.

All the starters look good IMO. Also the Water Monkey is one of my least favs. It looks like a a pop star.

Also serebii is having more problems with the images.

Waiting for an English release.

Anyway, I've already spoiled myself as much as possible that's currently available. Team Plasma wants to create separate worlds for Pokemon and humans, and they need Reshiram of Ying and/or Zekrom of Yang to do that.

Anyway, I think those who have also spoiled themselves, or are playing the Japanese version and has already/is near to completeing the game should know that it's kinda obvious that Kyurem 646.png is the third of the trio.

[spoiler=Closer look at the creature]

kyurem_kyuremu_by_cursors-d2z4jbw.png

644.png643.png646.png They look perfect! Although I'm sure Kyurem is just in a crippled form and we'll see the true form in Pokemon Grey.

Other stuff: Zekrom's first part of its name, 'Ze', is just gibberish while the rest, 'krom', means 'turning Black', and it ends in 'm' ('mu' in Japanese). Reshiram's first part of its name, 'Re', is just gibberish while the rest, 'shiram', means 'turning White', and it too ends in 'm' ('mu' in Japanese). Kyurem's name isn't related to these except ending with 'm' ('mu' in Japanese), however, if one considered the 'Ky' gibberish and said 'ure', it could sound like 'ur-ray', which sounds like 'Gray' without the 'g'. But there's also another possibility, as 'Kyure' could also sound like 'Clear'. Plus Zekrom is a Thunder/Dragon type, Reshiram is a Fire/Dragon type, and Kyurem is a Ice/Dragon type, like the legendary birds.

But what could Kyurem represent? Zekrom represents Yang (The Black side), while Reshiram represents Ying (The White side). Perhaps it is the invisible line that always moves between the Ying and Yang? No, that's dumb.....

Edit: Someone has speculated it to be 'Nothingness' while another has speculated it to be 'Balance'. It's more likely the former, as Ying and Yang are already the balance, and Kyurem represents their opposite, Nothingness, Non-Existence, Stuff Like That.

I had a thought on this. Look at their tails (Except kyurem). Jet Engine and a Generator. Next up, these two guys have somewhat the same abilities, yet Kyu doesn't, it has Pressure. And also, Kyu looks as if it's somewhat smaller than it should be when you compare sprites, at least in upper body strength.

This leads me to believe if we get this 3rd game (Gray/Clear possibly) this pokemon will feature in it, and it will have a different form, like Girantina. Possibly.

My next idea, is relating to the other twos tails. They have Jet Engine and Generator. I believe this pokemon will be Super Computer. Usually, really complex and smart technology tends to overheat, so it needs something to cool down, which might explain the Ice Typing. Also, when you look at it's markings, it looks like it's slightly robotic in a way..this is hard to explain. But it looks, metalic.

Also, those wings look like they regenerate or something.

More than likely, it's not the balance pokemon or nothing pokemon, but the "Clear" pokemon, due to ice typing.

Lets see, I'm looking forward to

Pretty much the 5th generation have a plethora of new pokemon type combinations, and variations on stats and abilities. Though, the dragon type legendary scheme is getting a little old (despite the fact that the new legendary pokemon are awesome, but not for use due to their generic overpowered-ness). Overall, I cannot wait for Spring 2011, patience is a virtue I guess.

Also, the new moves are great too.

.......I just noticed that it was Rotom that switching its type, and some imaginary Pokemon.

*Facepalm*

Though this does make me wonder if that might make Rotom a bit more serious in the Poke-Meta, as its type combos are defenitly interesting.

(Seriously, a FIRE/ELEC and WATER/ELEC are awesome)

Most people are pissed that it losses the ghost type. IMO it's not that bad. But Fan Rotom is now a trolling us since it's immune to Ground twice.

Any way I made my teams. Some spots have two pokemon since I want to use as many different types as I can so who ever I start with I'll use my favs then in the next game use the other if I can. It's just I don't know who my starter is going to be. ATM it's Water for a change of pace.

Okay, my team isn't just the Fire Monkey anymore. I got the other fire monkey that's kind of like a doll, the sarcophaghost's prevo, and the fossil turtle. I just hope I don't lose another one too soon, my bat evolved in death. ;_____;

Lol. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO

Rotom's alternate forms were essentially all OU since they had specialized roles with the new stats and could be great Spin Blockers given their Ghost typing. Now that they aren't Ghost their usability is up in the air.

Water/Electric is pretty good double STAB (but it doesn't receive Surf, sadly), so I can see maybe one or two forms being serious. But now we lack a spinblocker unless I'm forgetting some Gen V Pokemon. Since we didn't have many good OU spinblockers back in Gen IV... maybe Dusknoir outside of Rotom formes.

the coffin has some nice walling abilities and could be used for set up or use power share on your opponent's strongest sweeper XD to take care of its lacking in the ATK Department

though its Sp. ATK is decent at 95

In terms of DEF it beats Dusknoir

Coffin is #11 in highest DEF but has 30 less Sp. DEF. Though coffin has 13 more base HP than dusknoir

The coffin may get some spotlight as it has access to the sub/calm mind combo

Just found myself a working rom. I'm unable to download any English patch roms in Indonesia though, so I'll have to settle with Japanese.

.....

Hey, I did complete that Naruto Shippuuden game completely and that one was entirely in Japanese. I'm sure Pokemon is the same, even if it isn't 'Press X Down Gaw Rasengan'.

I think Shuckle just got better imo

He know has access to Power share which adds up the ATK and Sp. ATK of user and the opponent than divides them in half

or in other words you take your opponents powerhouse's ATK n Sp. ATK along with shuckles poor atk stats than divide them evenly amongst the 2 pokemon while shuckle still has a monstrous defense stats

Finally, got my Pokemon White game working. I chose a female character and picked the name 'White', in tradition with my HeartGold and Platinum games. I wish I could understand Japanese though. But I have to say it, the overworld sprites are VERY, VERY bad. I mean seriously, see for yourself the overworld sprites! And I'm still in that room with Bel and Cheren (I read Bulbapedia for their names), not yet going down the stairs. I hope it gets better later on.

Edit: Just realized you aren't supposed to go down the stairs. I opened the present and there are three Pokemon. I picked my favorite, Tsutarja, and I'm going to nickname him/her something as I want to at least read something I can understand.

Edit 2: Just entered battle with Bel. She's going down!

Edit 3: I won and beat her bear, the Water Starter. Yay! And LOL with wrecking the room. Time to defeat Cheren's fire-breathing pig as well.
