If you don't want to be spoiled, don't come to this thread. I don't mind posting things in spoiler for common courtesy, but if you really don't want to be spoiled, don't bother stepping foot in this thread, since we all are discussing spoiler-related material.

The new Pokemon had awkward sprites, but I will grow to love them. They were also really bad quality, so maybe in-game they'll look better.

Confirmed (or so I believe) Base Stats for fully-evolved Pokemon are in Serebii.

[spoiler=My Speculations]

Jaroda (Tsutaja Final): 75/75 Attack, 113 Speed. BULKY GRASS?!

Daikenki (Mijumaru Final): 100/108 Attack, 70 Speed. Like Empoleon?

Three elemental monkeys have 101 Base Speed. ...101.

Gigaisu, Doryuuzu, both Base 135 metagame. STRONG Physical attackers this gen.

Roopushin, 140 Base Attack.

Hihidaruma, 140 Base Attack.

Aakeosu, 140 Base Attack.

Shinpora has a cool sprite.

Abagoora has a cool sprite.

Zoroark 105/120 Attack, 105 Speed. Mono-Dark is cool.

Shubarugo, 135 Base Attack.

Nattorei has a cool sprite, and seems like a mixed wall. 89/131/116, Grass/Steel.

Gigigear is badass.

Ononokusu, Base 147 Attack. And Base 97 Speed. Woah.

Kirikizan has a cool sprite.

A lot of Pokemon that have Dark types or sub-types.

Sazando is Dark/Dragon psuedolegend. 105/125 Attack, 98 Speed. UGH, JUST TWO MORE MAN.

Lot of mixed attackers, a lot of physical attackers, few special-only attackers. GameFreak knows about Blissey?

Pokemon - Typing - Base Stats (HP, ATK, DEF, SpA, SpD, Spe)

Reshiram - Dragon/Fire - 105/120/100/150/120/90

Another 90-Speed Uber, but Special Fire-types are win.

Zekrom - Dragon/Electric - 105/150/120/120/100/90

Another 90-Speed Uber, physical Electric as I predicted.

Kyuremu - Dragon/Ice - 125/130/90/130/90/95

I'd trade 5 Def and SpD for 6 Speed. This is the "Rayquaza" of the gen, in more ways than one, I feel. It is the third trio legend, and it's the Uber mixed attacker.

A lot of Pokemon with awkward Base Speeds, 99, 98, 97, 101, 108.

Most of the legends don't have Pressure. <3

The Transfer Machine does not allow you to transfer items. That kind of sucks.

@Dark: Those have been linked to already.

Since when are these new pokemon "complex".

They just look like Pokemon's final plea for new stuff thrown together... some turned out good, some... not so good. :/

You aren't the only one talking, you know. Try reading other people's posts.

Also, as I was saying, not everything has to look cute or badass. Point out exactly what's wrong with each individual design.

I only think a handful of the sprites are actually stupid, and that may just be my bias because they have shitty typings and base stats. But no, honestly, some of the sprites were not what I expected from GameFreak. Some, on the other hand, are a lot better than I expected after 500 Pokemon. So, it evens out. :/

I DO read other's posts. =.=

And I'm just saying some of them either look like re-tried at old pokemon (535-537 are like Poli-do-overs) or are just plain un-pokemon looking (553,554,560,568,569).

And I don't think they have to look cute or badass, just at least look like something I should be seeing in a Pokemon game. I do like quite a few of them though (Smugleaf chain, Water evo #2, 572, 579, 592, 599-601, 610-612, 524-526, 551, 552, ect).

And even the stupid ones are funny as hell. As you said, for over 600 different creatures having things still come out this good is great.

Last form didn't turn out bad at all.

or are just plain un-pokemon looking (553,554,560,568,569).

553 looks great and very much like a pokemon.

554 is odd, but when I give my final opinion the final forms is what counts the most.

560/8/9 again odd, but funny as hell

Time to compare last Gens Starters stats to this gen

Torterra: 95/109/105/75/85/56

Jaroda: 75/75/95/75/95/113 : Less hp, atk, def. same Sp. Atk more Sp. Def way more speed

Infernape: 76/104/71/104/71/108

Enbuoo: 110/123/65/100/65/65: More HP n ATK. Slight less def, Sp. Atk Sp. Def. way lower speed

Empoleon: 84/86/88/111/101/60

Daikenki:95/100/85/108/70/70 : More HP, slightly faster, more ATK, slight less Def n Sp. Atk, way less Sp. Def,

Now take alook at the pokemon from earlier i wanted on my team

Gigaisu: High ATK n DEF decent HP nice speed is low but common with rock types: Great

Doryuuzu: Good HP same ATK as Giga 88 base speed decent defenses: Good

Warubiaru: Good HP Nice ATK 92 base Speed decent defenses: Good

Ononokusu: decent HP Very Nice ATK good defense decent Sp. Def 97 base speed: Great

Sazando: Good HP,DEF n Sp. Def Nice ATK n Sp.ATK 98 Speed: Great

And i'm gonna use Daikenki as my starter for my 1st run

What I meant is that the Pokémon look a bit too chaotically designed.

And some look like splices because of how contrasting some body parts are. If you don't believe me, just look at Agiruda (617), Kurimugan (621), and Kerudio (647).

I'd say I like about the first half of the Dex, but the rest look like a mesh between Pokémon and Digimon, save Reshi and Zekky.

EDIT:

Zuruggu will be haunting my dreams.

Maybe that one was meant to be a real joke pokemon? though who cares there pokemon that are better than him such as Gigaisu and Doryuuzu :D

Though do i like Abagoora's sprite and also Shubarugo is nice to

The only downfall is its very low speed but can be threwn into a trick room team :D and its Atk n Defs are really nice and the fact it only has 1 weakest is nice

And it looks like Mamanbou will be this gens Blissey with the highest base HP of this Gen (165) and also has 80 DEF n 40 Sp. Def so kinda lacking in the Sp. Def department but has decent Defense along with 75 atk n 65 Speed so its decent

Hey guys, remember the Dream World? I'm not sure if you guys already knew about this, but appearently, it's possible to have Pokemon transferred that have a complete new ability for a lot of Pokemon.

Let's take a look at what kind of wonders Gamefreak did this time to our favourite classic Pokemon:

http://www.serebii.net/blackwhite/dreamworldabilities.shtml

Ninetails with Drought.

Alakazam with Magic Guard

Electrode with Aftermath

Hitmonlee with Unburden

Mr. Mime with Technician

Politoed with Drizzle

Blaziken with Speed Boost

Swampert with Damp

Milotic with Cure Charm

Infernape with Iron Fist

Staraptor with Reckless

Ambipom with Skill Link

Garchomp with Rough Skin

Gliscor with Poison Heal

Gochiruzeru with Shadow Tag

...oh wow.

This is... just...

wow.

EDIT:

Offical Soundtrack RIP was leaked here and there over youtube.

Appeareantly, when your pokemon has low HP, the music changes completely.

I dunno if I actually like it when it's in game, but it sure sounds alot better than hearing the regular DANDUNDANDUNDANDUN sound effect over and over again amirite?
