it would cool if they made non-legendary pokemon with drought and drizzle (2 separate pokemon) with decent BaseStats n move pools.

that would help out Sun n Rain teams out a bit

They really should. The good thing is, with the new weather abilities, their is a chance that we'll get it.

New pokemon revealed a grass monkey.... also it has a new attack called acrobat which allows it to hit pokemon normally out of reach in triple battle and also has its power doubled if not holding an item.

lol. You beat me.

Yea, so now we're getting a Fire and Grass monkey. Want to place bets on us getting a Water (or even a Ground or Rock) one.

We also have the route map in for the game.

Not really liking the Pokemon designs all too much for this gen. I'm not saying it seems less creative, but the artwork is crap. I need some legitimate sprites to look at.

Rain is viable in OU IMO.

Well... how many viable things can abuse it? Kabutops, Kingdra... that's really about it. You can get some dual-STAB with Empoleon, but he's slow and can only set up an Agility sweep, which wastes turns of Rain anyways. Not much can really use Rain, and because Fire is such a strong offensive type, you are losing that entirely.

Well, remember that the final forms are often better looking then the first one. And yea, the sprites are the main thing to judge and they don't look that bad.

Ludicolo is amazing. The other half of the team can be support pokemon. Scizor is a great one since not only can he set up rain he also loves it since his one weakness is gone.

I don't see Ludicolo having much use in OU Rain teams, because Blissey does exist, and if you are using Rain Dance Ludicolo (or is being supported by Rain Dance), chances are it has Ice Beam and Surf and some Grass move, and most likely not Leech Seed. Also, TTar counters Ludicolo a lot more than he'd counter Kingdra or Kabutops, because of the +1 SpD in Sand.

And what if the team doesn't have Bliss? Plus, you make it sound like Bliss invalidates all special sweepers, and we both know that isn't that case.

I've used a a TTar that made use of the +1SpD, and trust me unless it put a lot into it's defense odds are 2 or 3 attacks will still kill it. Meaning it might just end up switching in and then dieing on the next move.

Ludicolo is seriously underrated, as he can support and devastate with his attacks, while being able to take a good deal with his ability and nice typing. Just tossing him in a team and hiding Kabutops as a late game sweeper can be extremely effective.

Any dedicated special wall won't be 2HKOd by Ludicolo, and I don't really see him operating well in OU Rain Dance play.

And Bliss invalidates most of the special sweepers, simply because if you can't 2HKO her, she'll Wish/Protect until you rip your hair out. And even with dualSTAB, max SpA Surf, Ludicolo only manages 27.7% - 32.8% on standard WishBliss.

I don't mind him playing a support role with Leech Seed, but I don't see him being viable at all for OU Rain Dance sweeping.

Also, while Ludicolo does 2HKO TTar in the Sand, remember that CS and most TTar that invest in Speed will probably outspeed Ludicolo, since it isn't running max Speed, nor is Rain active.

Then why did you say TTat can be 2HKOd?

The point remains that special sweepers are still used. Really, just because a counter exists doesn't mean a pokemon is 100% unusable. Not only that but who would leave a special sweeper in on Bliss? Also, your acting like Bliss is used on every other team, she's not. She's not even in the top 10 OU pokemon (granted she is close at 12).

Then I guess you don't see Kabutops being a good OU sweeper because of Skarm.

TTar only out runs Colo if it has max speed, cutting it's EV investment into it's other stats. Assuming the rest go into ATK then TTar will have a lot of trouble taking even 1 of Colo's Surfs.

One of the features i like in Pokemon B&W is 3 (all of them on screen) vs 1 battle. By seeing the official screenshot, there is a possibility for a 3 vs 3 battle or maybe 4 vs 4 tag battle. And B&W have excellent graphics.

Can't wait for the English version.

We've known about triple battles for a while now. And I don't get your "all of them on screen" comment? Are you talking about rotation battles?

So we have new trailers.

Also we MIGHT have the evos for the starters.

Grass: It's what you'd think

FIRE: It's odd. I need to see it more to say what I think.

Water: Wow, just wow. I can't beleive it.

So um yea, to things I got from the trailers, Minezumi evoles into Miruhoggu at like level 8 and Moguryu into Doryuuzu. And for some reason it seems like you can attack after switching.

I take back what I thought about Mijumaru. The water unicorn thing looks pretty cool, though I'd still take Smugleaf.

The Fire one looks like a cross between Pokabu, Magmortar and Metagross, making it look... eh.

I'm liking the graphical update. Though I usually don't care about graphics, I like how dynamic the game looks.

The switch-in attack was like "WTF?" If switching in doesn't take up a turn anymore, then well...

@burnspy:

Second update from the top at Serebii.
