You can use Items??? Surely not on WiFi :/ The random WiFi Battle option will be crap if you can do that. Although it'll be spammed with hacks anyway.

 

@burnspy: Nah, he wants the same thing as Plasma will. So he's probably going to be involved with them or is actually their leader.

I'm not really liking most of these small changes, but in the big picture, Gen V should be fairly good. I just... items? Items in wireless battles? Imagine killing a Vaporeon (who now gets a second good ability <_ and having your opponent using a revive wishing up again. i know you can too but... stall will reign supreme assuming. well competitive battles ban items but still.>

 

Let's hope some crappy Pokemon get good abilities in the Dream World.

The only problematic changes I've seen are the Items (but as you said that doesn't make much difference) and no berries (IMO that isn't a problem since you really don't need them main game). Yea, their annoying, but not that big a problem IMO. I don't get way Revive is only 11 while Ether and X Items are 12. Bring a pokemon back to life>>>>>>>>>>>>>>everything else.

 

Yea, the new abilities can really help some pokemon. However I'm guessing pokemon that already have 2 abilities won't be able to get this help, but since about half of all pokemon only have 1 it's still works out.

Apparently there's a Gym Leader in the second town who's preaching the same stuff as him, so...

 

In any case, guys, you should probably note that items can't just be spammed. You have to charge that random device thing.

I haven't checked Serebii in like two months, so seeing all of B/W's new stuff had me awestruck. Gotta hand it to Game Freak for ending the DS's life with a bang.

 

Isshu, older PCs, new Pokemon, new battle system, 3-on-3 battles, and random online battle all sound great.

So Team Plasma are Knights Templar knock-offs/Religious Crusaders? God, they look like they came out of a medieval cosplay.

BTW, is live caster only for registered friends, or anyone you battle with?

 

I love that TM's can be used over and over. I wonder if Sky Attack will be a TM again?

 

Really? God, I hated wasting TMs in the other games.

That's actually what I said, but Gray doesn't seem like them, really. Yellow was the third primary color in Red-Blue-Yellow (Green was just... stfu up), but Gray is the artistic middle-point between pure black and pure white.

 

There is a lot of speculation, but who really cares?

 

Also, one thing I'd like to mention. If the pattern holds true...

 

(All dates are US release dates.)

 

Gen I: 1998

Gen II: 2000

Gen III: 2003

Gen I Remakes: 2004

Gen IV: 2007

Gen II Remakes: 2010

 

Assuming one series of games per year (two years with a third-game skip), this is how the pattern would continue.

 

Gen V: 2011

Gen III Remakes: 2013

Gen VI: 2014

Gen IV Remakes: 2016

 

That is just speculation, of course, but if that pattern is followed, we'd have Diamond and Pearl remakes in 2016. I'd look so badass playing my Diamond and then going on to play my Diamond remake. =)

But chances are it's not gonna be until early next year. Now that you've mentioned the whole Red-Blue-Yellow thing, I'm thinking it could be Brown.

Pokemon S**T? for the 3DS? :3 <(Joke) I still love pokemon Anyway. i got severe pokemon syndrone and there's nuffing u can do about it....Except write to game freak and nintendo that we want a pokemon MMO wii game with online, maybe a new real time battle system to go with the traditional and to trade/ transfer with any pokemon Ds games to unlock certain things and updates for any future pokemon games. NOW

That sucks. I was hoping it wouldn't take that long.

All the 4th gen games came out around that time so it isn't shocking. But yea, we all want it asap.

 

A fire-grass chile pepper pokemon would be funny & good. I would also like to see an eel, eurypterid (google it, it'd be a fossil),volcanic ash(fire-ground,legendary) & tsunami(legendary) pokemon.

It would work, but it might be odd. IMO nothing beats this

Anyone think they'll ever get around to making a Fighting or Bug-type Legendary?

At some point we'll get them. We also don't have a Poison legend.

 

don't no though only a few bugs are actullay good such as heracross, pinsir, scizor, and some others

Side from Fortress and Yanmega that's really all the good Bugs.

So, I'm just now getting caught back up with everything. TM's doesn't disappear after one use? What's the difference between a TM and HM now? They should just now make it the M's.

 

I really hope we get to see the starters evo's soon. I want to know what pokemon I'm going to use in the game. Also, the alligator/croc is still my favorite pokemon revealed yet. Ugh, it's going to be forever until these games are released.
