You do realize that Protect nullifies Explosion, right? If all three opposing Pokemon use Protect, your Explosion is useless, and your opponent can scout what your other two Pokemon are doing since they are Ghost-types.

I was just thinking that. Protect laughs at pokemon that go boom. Also, why not use pokemon that have Protect to keep from having a team of ghosts?

 

Also if your opponent has any Steel or Dark pokemon and you do go with the Ghost team your basically going to loss.

I'm sure at some point in the game, they'll pull some Platinum moment where you, your rival, and your friend (y'know, the girl if you chose the boy trainer, and vise versa) have to fight a triple battle against a combination of three Gym Leaders/Elite Four members.

How long will one round of attacks last? This might become the slowest game yet, what with the new animations and triple battling. I'm tired of waiting for stuff to finish happening. I wish they'd make a super fast mode for extreme players. EX-Treme Mode, perhaps. And faster text in general.
