The ONLY reason Dark and Steel were made was to balance out Psychic.

 

I honestly have no idea how many times this has been discussed.

 

So then i wounder when they are going to make the Light type?

 

Right after they make the Bomb type. Pokemon could use some Kirby flavor.

There is nothing left that needs balancing. Every type has at least 2 weakness' and 2 resistances.

I might have been hostile, but at least I wasn't making fun of a new member. You guys should know better. >.<

 

B seems to be the most liked, unfortunately. Light is actually an element, which is what Pokémon was originally going to be (just elements), whereas Bomb and whatnot aren't. Sure, there are things like Dragon now but it doesn't make Light irrelevant, especially when we have Dark. Also Normal represents plastic and steel represents metal, just so you know.

Yup, nothing else needs balancing. The concept isn't bad though.

 

The concept is okay, but it would take way too much work. First, they would have to give it weakness' and resistances while editing the weakness' and resistances of the other types. Then they would have to edit a bunch of sheet like moves and possibly Pokemon. D:

Don't mistake logic for mocking.

 

Dragon, Bug, Poison, Fighting, Psychic and Ghost. Not elements. Normal does not represent Plastic, it signifies no affiliation with a specific type or attribute. Generic-type, if you will.

 

The only thing people can agree on about Light type is that if it existed, it should be weak to Poison. Because Poison needs it.

That was to "unbreak" the game. The game is stable right now, and introducing a new type at this point? Could they make it work? Possibly, but then I wonder about all these repeated Pokemon. Just redundant. We don't need another Rattata, Nintendo. Or Pidgey.

Yes, they did add two new types in Gen II, which was a good move to balance Psychic and, to be honest, I really like both Dark and Steel types, so I'm happy with it.

 

But there really won't be a Light type. Psychic and Electric does both classify as candidates to be a "Light" type, and it's a bit late to add a new type in Gen V. There's too many Pokemons that would have to be changed in the past four generations to make the Light type make sense.

 

And if they were going to have a Light type in BW, they would've announced it already.

1. Light type: They have all the other elements so why not Light? Plus it would be great to kill Wondertomb with.

 

2. AN evo for Luvdisc and Bannit (Shuppets evo) they really need it badly and IMO Luvdisc should turn into Luvtank' date=' with a heart cannon and 2 automatic machine water guns.

1) It's to hard to successfully add any new type. If we were to get a new type it, the type, would be bad. He have next to no pokemon or moves that can be made into a light type, or any other type, side from their own. The only way for it to "work" to dedicate a large part of a gen's pokemon and moves to the new type. And, as said, we only get new types to balance out Psychic. It wold be cool to get a new type, but I can't see it working.

 

2) Luvdisc is not a cool pokemon, and personally I'd rather see an evo go to a different one. Bannit could do with an evo.

 

4) Karp has 4 moves. It can now bounce.

You guys were beating up an idea of a new member in a very rude way. Really, it's just a game, wold it really hurt to have a new type?

 

One can argue Dragon needs balancing with 4 resistances, only 2 weakness (one to itself), and only 1 type that resists it. The biggest problem is that only one type can switch into Dagon moves and that type is easily covered by a Fire or Ground move.

Gen II also had less stuff before it. Changing only 1 gen worth of past things compared to 4 is a huge difference.

lol XD i only has 1 Arceus but i has 2 DSs :P but i don't need to do more than twice because i has both HG n SS so i can send over the ones i don't have and want O.o. anyways but on topic

 

they need to hurry up and start releasing evos and stuff

 

I wanna see the freakin Tsutaja evos. If they do and they end up epic I'm gonna buy White right when it hits the freakin' shelf.

 

I has 1 Arceus and 2 DS's too. Helps so much when trading with myself xD
