Ill do the same as adhdguitar and just ignore updates until it comes out so I have the same fun as when I got silver. Because knowing the whole region's dex before you have the game takes the surprise away

Yeah, its just gonna be hard cause I planned to ignore the updates for Pearl and Diamond but my curiosity got the better of me and when it came out I already knew all the Pokemon so I was sad. :[

i think that depends because i knew the pokemon of Diamond and Peral but there were still surpises (i don't look at base stats though). because you don't knew exactly how they will work or how you can apply them to a team until about playing around with them

Jord, there have to be new Fossil Pokemon. There have been new ones for every generation, and the whole "two fossil system" has been in everything but the 2nd Gen, which is mainly because they drew so heavily from the 1st game. I personally believe the old Pokemon world should be expanded upon and things like Aerodactyl should be given evolutions.

Don't be silly, it's an entire new generation and if they've gone ahead and made changes like completely revamping the whole game mechanic, and allowing it to play in full 3D why would they NOT revamp the trainer sprites?
