Alright, YCM. You get to help me make a decision for my team. Here it is right now after just getting to Driftveil.

 

 

Everyone's around Lv. 25/26, except for Escavalier, who's at 23 (freshly caught). However, I just picked up a Tirtouga, and since none of my team can learn an Ice-type move, I was wondering if I should switch out Palpi/Seismitoad for it. In that case, would my team be too slow? I'm willing to trade over a Durant egg from my White version to make up for it if need be.

I don't think you'll have any trouble without Ice-Moves, I didn't.

Very true, Drayden/Iris, are very easy to beat without, in fact I found the gym harder than the gym trainers. I couldn't heal when I needed (I was using in the EXP to next level order that's why, so that meant any of the my team could face the trainers). The other games maybe because of Dragons in the E4, but not in BW

Calculated the IV's for my Mienshao... 25 for Attack, but 1 for Speed. Try again?

For in game, you don't need t worry about IVs to much. If this isn't for in game, you need has high a speed as possible.

 

Question - if I use an Exp. Share, does the Poke that is holding it gets EVs?

On the Audino Note: I found three of them in a row once in the Gates / Whatevers to the Pokemon League / Victory Road. Got one of my Pokemon up I believe 3 or 4 Levels. But yeah, wish that there was some sort of way to predict when shaking grass would pop up, like, every 100 steps or something shaking grass would appear, or every 4 wild pokemon you defeat + 50 steps or something.

 

On a Random Note: I call BS that they don't give Shauntal a Gengar the second time around. I also found the choices of the +2 Pokemon for Caitlin and Grimsley poor. But yeah, that's just my opinion on the whole second Elite Four match note.

That reminds me, my brother got Cobalion and Terrakion today as well.

 

Makes me a bit jealous, seeing I couldn't get Cobalion, and led to me ragequitting the cave just to get it another time.

Yeah, those are the two I got. You only need to get Surf, then you can catch Cobalion.

I feel I should name my Terrakion something, seeing as how my Virizion is "Verizon" and Cobalion is "Lucarion" now.

 

And Cobalion is pretty easy to catch; it's Terrakion that likes to be a pain.

It's not that, I literally used all my Balls I had in disposal at it when it had Low Health and was Paralyzed.

 

And Cobalion is pretty easy to catch; it's Terrakion that likes to be a pain.

Really? My brother caught Terrakion in roughly 5 or so minutes. Cobalion took him 10+ minutes.

Cobalion only took me 3 minutes with a few Dusk Balls while his health was midline red; it took me 20 minutes and a ton of Ultra and Dusk Balls to catch Terrakion when it had 1 HP left.

 

I guess it varies from person to person then.

I'm not really worrying on getting Legendaries right now, just Leveling up my team to 60, then to 72 or so for the Elite Four.

I somehow beat Cynthia with a team of 60s, but then I forgot to save and accidently turned my game off... T.T

 

Right now I'm training all 12 of the Pokémon I use from 60 to 70... Level grinding sucks. At least Juniper gives you a Lucky Egg and Audino exists.

I actually don't mind level grinding because of Audino. I got my Axew from 31 to 43 in an hour ^___^

I'm putting my Serperior to take a break afte reaching LV 90 some time ago. I got an Accelgor and Escavalier from my friend, and I'm training my Accelgor to match around my other party pokemon, each are around LV 85. I love ti since has efficient speed, and it's a motherfucking ninja, but there's a problem. It has horrible Defense and Sp Def....so it's kinda struggling, but I overtrained and made it reach LV 82 from LV 31 in a matter of 2 days. So can anyone evaluate?

The problem with Audino, is that often the places with the best ability to find it, are not 90+% audino when you get shacking grass. I wonder how well a Water Absorb Suicune would do. :3

No need to grind on Audino in Black and White. Grind the way real men do, at a club against the Elite Four rematches.

I caught cobalion after 2 soft resets and 1 health left on my last ultra ball

I caught verizion with half health on 3rd ultra ball

I caught terrakion with full health and first thrown ball (pokeball)

I also just got an Escalvier and am going to get an Accelgor.
