@Spoon: Why didn't you evolve your Lampert yet? :o

Its ideal-move-set is like nothing but TMs, so you don't need to worry about it being un-able to evolve or not.

.....Also, why doesn't it have Shadow Ball?

Lucky Egg + Audino is always pleasant, unless you want it EV trained.

Love how Audion is effectively another Chansey.

I'm trying to find N now...i've beaten Cynthia and The Elite Four twice.

And Hydreigon was a huge pain in my ass the first time i fought it....that's why i added him to my team! I beat it with my fast-as-hell Haxorus, a Sword Dance, and a Dragon Claw

Oh... actually didn't notice that. But I don't have the TMs as of now (guess I have to look them up)... and it learns Shadow Ball on Level 53, just a short step away.

And opinion on new (soon to come) Move Set for Haxorus?

Dragon Dance

Dragon Claw

Brick Break

Swords Dance

Chose stupidly not to teach Swords Dance to it, should I go to the Re-Learner or wait for the Seven Sage?

And a few more I'm not sure on, the rest of my team I'm fine with for their move set.:

Zebstrika:

Thunder Wave

Thunderbolt

Flame Charge

Stomp

Not sure if I should keep Flame Charge, but I'm sure I want to replace Stomp with something.

Mienshao:

Drain Punch / Poison Jab

Force Palm

Swift / Stone Edge / Rock Slide

Calm Mind

Thinking of replacing Drain Punch for Poison Jab, seeing I have Force Palm and Mienshao has Regenerator

Need help if I should go for Stone Edge or Rock Slide though. I'm leaning towards Rock Slide, but I'm still unsure.

Reuniclus:

Recover

Dizzy Punch

Flash Cannon

Psychic

Only things I'm unsure with is Dizzy Punch and Flash Cannon.

http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/584.shtmlI guess Fire Blast would be kind of brutal, but I think I can live one just to Ice Beam his ass. I know I won't outspeed, though. Also, it's impossible to obtain a Hydreigon until Level 64, so Ghetsis is a no-good cheater!

Remember the Lv 17 Magnetons? On Route 10/11 in the Kanto based games? Trainers do that its just wrong.

Dumb question: What can you use Heart Scales for besides re-learning moves?

Nothing else, but since they aren't all the common you should only use them if you need to.

Hax: SD and DD are redundant on the same set. It can already hit over 400 ATK so doubling that doesn't do you much good. The SPE boost you get from DD is VERY worth while though so drop SD for EQ.

Zeb: Remember his ATK is better then his special attack so Wild Volt is better then T-bolt here. Flame Charge is ok, but with a speed boost almost useless on him Overheat is the way to go. To round out the set give him Volt Switch.

Mien: Even with Regenerator Drain Punch is EASILY the better move. Not only the power difference HUGE 90 vs 112.5 but staying giving you health during the fight is more helpful then one the switch since it might end up saving you during the fight. Sure the para rate is nice, but Mien doesn't need it since he already out runs a good number of pokemon. But if you want a different move why don't you have hi jump kick? Sure missing sucks but it only happens 10% of the and the extra power you get from it (with STAB it's over 200 base power) is VERY helpful. Plus with Regenerator/Drain Punch the loss isn't that bad. And why Posion Jab of all moves? Poison is arguably the worse attacking type in the game and even with STAB it's hardly worth it. Picking between Edge and Slide is a classic problem so it comes down to if you want reliability or power. Personally I'd say Slide since the 30% flinch rate is nice and Mien has the speed to use it. Plus Edge always fails for me. And on a final note (sorry this ended up so long, but the set had lots of problems), you really need to check your pokemon stats when you give them moves. Mien's base ATK is 30 point higher then it's Sp.ATK and the only move you would have on him that would get a boost from Calm Mind is Swift (and it even seem like you want it?).

- Hi Jump Kick

- Drain Punch (this way you have a reliable fighting move and a way to stay healthy without switching)

- Rock Slide / Miss Edge (it misses SO much whenever I'm playing on PO or Shoddy. But the extra power is very nice, but so is the 30% flinch rate)

- Bulk Up / U-turn

If you still don't want Drain Punch use both Bulk Up and U-Turn since U-Turn lets you abuse Regen.

Reuniclus: Check base stat so on so forth. Anyway, this is the guy that wants Calm Mind. Also Fail Blast is VERY helpful even with its huge miss rate since it become able to hit a lot of pokemon (read: dark) for 2x.

But you find Shadow Ball in the desert ruins, which was right before the tower with the Lilwicks in it.

Dragon Dance is better than Swords Dance anyway.

Keep Flame Charge. Stomp, you should either keep, or replace with Wild Charge, Thrash or Pursuit.

Mienshao:

Drain Punch / Poison Jab

Force Palm

Swift / Stone Edge / Rock Slide

Calm Mind

Thinking of replacing Drain Punch for Poison Jab, seeing I have Force Palm and Mienshao has Regenerator

Ditch Force Palm and keep Drain Punch. Get Acrobat, or something else if you really need an item. Poison Jab just doesn't have enough coverage. Rock Slide over Stone Edge as well.

Reuniclus:

Recover

Dizzy Punch

Flash Cannon

Psychic

Only things I'm unsure with is Dizzy Punch and Flash Cannon.

Ditch Dizzy Punch for Focus Blast. Then you can get Energy Ball instead of Flash Cannon, but either will work just as well. Calm Mind is also an option.

But would Spark make a good replacement for Wild Charge? Never liked the recoil I would receive.

Reuniclus: Check base stat so on so forth. Anyway, this is the guy that wants Calm Mind. Also Fail Blast is VERY helpful even with its huge miss rate since it become able to hit a lot of pokemon (read: dark) for 2x.

I really appreciate your help. Here's my Samurott as well, seeing I'm at a loss with his move set.

- Razor Shell

- Scald

- Revenge

- Slash

Also, beat the Elite Four (first time) along with N and Ghetsis. To be honest, the Elite Four was far too easy. I didn't even need to save like previous games, mainly because I barely struggled, and I guess I pre-made my team to counter the Elite Four / some Gym Leaders as well. My whole Team is Level 52-53 afterwards, with Samurott 60.

Oh, and there was this cave in Victory Road I couldn't go to due to some small grey boulder (which I couldn't move with strength). I am sure this is the way to getting the TM Dragon Claw, so when will this boulder disappear? I have not yet checked to see if it did after defeating the Elite Four / completing the Storyline.

Well, I got Black in english 3 days ago to go with my Japanese White version...

I just finished the fifth gym and my current team is (yes, I know it sucks right now...):

Sigilyph Lv.32

• Psybeam

• Air Cutter

• Psywave

• Light Screen

Excadrill Lv.34

• Earthquake (I purposely leveled Drilbur to Lv.33 before letting it evolve)

• Rock Slide

• Slash

• Metal Claw

Samurott Lv.37

• Razor Shell

• Scald

• Slash

• Grass Knot

I'm planning to add Axew and Litwick as the remainder of my team (and Watchog as an HM slave)

You will never need strength again after you have opened all of the paths in game that use it, and have collected all of the plates and treasures from the underwater ruins. Also, flash is still used in some caves (and also in the underwater ruins), though you can reteach a pokemon what move you want afterwards via TM.

It is becoming painful to raise pokemon over level 85 in game without cheating, and I cannot cheat because I cannot update my action replay to version 1.7 something. Lost the CD and the cable :/.

Also, any suggestions for Battle Subway Single?
