Well, as it seems, you don't have a strong physical attacker, so get one of those. I recommend Darmanitan or Haxorus, but pretty much anything with good attack and preferably good speed will work.

Darmanitan is Fire, which I already have, and Haxorus is a Dragon, which I hate :(

Hmm... I just noticed that I have that Plume Fossil, would that be any good?

As an alternative I did go through the list and found Mienshao and Excadrill to be at least decent... but Excadrill seems pretty slow (and is Steel, which I already have), Mienshao seems to be run by literally everybody, and Archeops looks kinda silly... oh, I just can't decide :(

Plume Fossil? YES! That thing is one of the strongest Pokemon in the game. Get it. Excadrill is bulkier though, and Mienshao is, well, pretty balanced actually.

 

Any of those would be good.

 

Basculin, Swana or Seismitoad would also be decent choices, as you seem to have a slight weakness to fire-types.

Well, okay, Archeops it is. The problem: I need to train that thing first... from 25 to 50 could take quite a while :( Any tips on that? I have defeated almost every Trainer in the areas that I can access, and defeating one wild pokemon after the other won't cut it.

Well, if you've got a Dusk Stone, evolve Lampent, and you could probably go for Haxorus or Mienshao. But I went through the E4 with just Lv 60-something Chandelure, and Samurott and Conkeldurr at around 49 ~ 53. And then a Bouffalant I caught at the gate. Still got raped by Hydreigon though... Good thing I had revives =D

Nah, that EV thingy is too much for me... didn't even know this Audino thingy existed, never ran into one :unsure:

Or maybe I did, but I flee out of every fight with a wild thingy and only catch the ones I really want in my team... so yeah, I'm at the Elite Four, but only effectively own 10 Pokemon, 1 of which I got for free (this stupid Ape)

I decided for Archeops now and won't step back. I already have a Dusk Stone, but I looked up some things on Wiki, and Lampent still learns quite a bit. Once I evolve him, he doesn't... which is admittedly pretty stupid, but I have to deal with it <_<

I for one plowed through the E4 with my Level 54 Zweilous and Level 48-50 Conkeldurr.

 

Got troubled by N four times before I defeated him and then 1hitted most of Ghetsis team.

 

Cryogonal raped Ghetsis Hydreigon to the moon.

It's at 54. And yes, level 49 Pokemon make it quite challenging. Well, I shouldn't say that. The E4 themselves are moderately challenging, while Ghetsis is very challenging. His Hydreigon can sweep your entire team if you're not careful.

I guess Fire Blast would be kind of brutal, but I think I can live one just to Ice Beam his ass. I know I won't outspeed, though.

 

Also, it's impossible to obtain a Hydreigon until Level 64, so Ghetsis is a no-good cheater!

I think my Mienfoo outran and OHKO with Drain Punch. If it did get hit it would have lived since I remember not using any revives in the match.

 

It's funny that I remember having more problems with N then Ghetsis. I guess that's what happens when I waste turns reviving.

Thunder Wave, Calm Mind, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Moonlight, Hypnosis, Yawn and Energy Ball to name a few. Just use common sense when building the set, you don't want 2 status moves ect.
