I recommend Darmanitan or Haxorus, but pretty much anything with good attack and preferably good speed will work.

Darmanitan is Fire, which I already have, and Haxorus is a Dragon, which I hate :(Hmm... I just noticed that I have that Plume Fossil, would that be any good?As an alternative I did go through the list and found Mienshao and Excadrill to be at least decent... but Excadrill seems pretty slow (and is Steel, which I already have), Mienshao seems to be run by literally everybody, and Archeops looks kinda silly... oh, I just can't decide :(

YES! That thing is one of the strongest Pokemon in the game. Get it. Excadrill is bulkier though, and Mienshao is, well, pretty balanced actually. Any of those would be good. Basculin, Swana or Seismitoad would also be decent choices, as you seem to have a slight weakness to fire-types.

Anbu-of-Sand
I take it you JUST caught this one, right?Yes....it's a Level 50 Mienshao now....with the same moves >.> suggestions on it / the rest of the team? And updates to the team: - Everyone is Level 50 except Fraxure and Zebstrika- Fraxure now knows Poison Jab / Dragon Pulse at the loss of Scary Face and Dragon Claw- Reuniclus now knows Flash Cannon and Something (Forgot) at the loss of Light Screen and Something (Forgot) Think that's it for the updates. The problem: I need to train that thing first... from 25 to 50 could take quite a while :( Any tips on that? I have defeated almost every Trainer in the areas that I can access, and defeating one wild pokemon after the other won't cut it.

But I went through the E4 with just Lv 60-something Chandelure, and Samurott and Conkeldurr at around 49 ~ 53. And then a Bouffalant I caught at the gate. Still got raped by Hydreigon though... Good thing I had revives =D
Spoon
Lucky Egg + Audino is always pleasant, unless you want it EV trained. Nah, that EV thingy is too much for me... didn't even know this Audino thingy existed, never ran into one  Or maybe I did, but I flee out of every fight with a wild thingy and only catch the ones I really want in my team... so yeah, I'm at the Elite Four, but only effectively own 10 Pokemon, 1 of which I got for free (this stupid Ape) Anyway, thanks for the tip, will try it. Edit:Well, if you've got a Dusk Stone, evolve Lampent, and you could probably go for Haxorus or Mienshao. Good thing I had revives =DI decided for Archeops now and won't step back. I already have a Dusk Stone, but I looked up some things on Wiki, and Lampent still learns quite a bit. Once I evolve him, he doesn't... which is admittedly pretty stupid, but I have to deal with it <_<

Got troubled by N four times before I defeated him and then 1hitted most of Ghetsis team. Cryogonal raped Ghetsis Hydreigon to the moon.
Tentacruel
Cryogonal raped Ghetsis Hydreigon to the moon.Doh! I totally didn't think of using Cryogonal! It's the perfect counter for Hydreigon! But wait. Wouldn't you take heavy damage from Focus Blast?
HitoKage
Quick Question: Once a Pokémon has received the effort ribbon, does that mean that it has obtained all 510EV's? I forgot to count and I just wanted to double-check if I should start to battle randomly to get it to Lv. 100.

Dark
And yea, I beat the game with high 40s low 50s. So my goal is beating it with my highest being level 47 at the absolute highest. What is Ghetsis' highest-leveled Pokemon on the first run of the Elite Four? I think I saw that it was Hydreigon at 53, but I want to make sure. I want to be at least five levels underleveled compared to the highest I'll meet.

The E4 themselves are moderately challenging, while Ghetsis is very challenging. His Hydreigon can sweep your entire team if you're not careful. Yay for my team~ Chandelure (47)- Flash Fire-- Hex-- Shadow Ball (Psychic post-E4)-- Flame Burst (Flamethrower post-E4)-- Will-O-Wisp Dude, why... Shadow Ball gets STAB and has way better coverage. Or is it because you have Hex? Even then, wouldn't Energy Ball be better?
Dark
I can totally beat the E4 and N and Ghetsis with a team that doesn't get higher than 48, no problem. This is going to be fun. <

That thing kicked my ass three times before I got lucky with Sleep Powder hitting and it's Fire Blast missing. http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/584.shtml I guess Fire Blast would be kind of brutal, but I think I can live one just to Ice Beam his ass. I know I won't outspeed, though. Also, it's impossible to obtain a Hydreigon until Level 64, so Ghetsis is a no-good cheater!

If it did get hit it would have lived since I remember not using any revives in the match. It's funny that I remember having more problems with N then Ghetsis. I guess that's what happens when I waste turns reviving.
Zektor
Most people will say no, but I say... "Laziness ftw" Thunder Wave, Calm Mind, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Moonlight, Hypnosis, Yawn and Energy Ball to name a few. Just use common sense when building the set, you don't want 2 status moves ect. try this set-Psychic-Thunderbolt-Rest-Attract Let me know how you beat Hydreigon.
