I'm not sure what use Balloon has on Excadrill. Excadrill is pretty frail anyways, so doesn't it not matter whether you take a hit from an Earthquake or not? I feel like Focus Sash or something would be a lot more useful, but maybe I'm just ignorant or am misunderstanding something.

Problem with Sash is that it breaks really. With Ballon at least you need to be hit by an attack for it to go pop.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm stuck on Burgh.

I guess it's to be expected when your team consists of two fairly frail Pokemon both weak to Grass and his strongest Pokemon knows Razor Leaf, but still.

UGH I DON'T WANT TO LEVEL UP MY PANSEAR JUST TO KILL THE DAMN THING. ;_;

It's funny, I had the same team when I fought him, but I don't remember having that much of a problem. I know at the very least I beat him in one go.

I beat his Leavanny with smart uses of Lemonades and my only Revive.

Wasn't terrible, but I'm pissed as hell that my team, so far, has such a weakness to Grass. I need one of my other guys to show up, but I don't think I get my third for a long time.

I know Joltik doesn't come soon, Vanillish doesn't, Hydreigon's pre-prevo doesn't, and I'm not sure about Litwick.

I had the same problem. At least the next pokemon you'll be able to add to your team is Vanillite after the 4th gym as verses me who waited till after the 5th. I know Jolt and Lit you get after 5th badge too so you don't have that much longer till your team is together.

Pansage is probably the best of the three monkeys for in-game use that isn't an HM Slave, but it's not a great Grass-type.

If you want a Grass-type, Ferrothorn seems appealing, or you could just have your Samurott know Grass Knot and not have a designated Grass-type, since a lot of them suck.

STAB Seed Bomb is really, really good early-game. I recommend catching Drillbur.

^^^Servine ;)

Also when Infernape has the chance to learn Flare Blitz should I delete Flame Charge or another move?

Nature

------

Quiet (+Sp. ATK -Speed [only reason I had Flame Charge] )

Moves

-----

Close Combat

Bulk Up

Acrobatics (Somewhat filler move)

Flame Charge

EDIT: I plan on Triple Battling my cousin who recently got Pokemon Black (but actually has a really decent team without realizing) but failed at teaching his Servine Cut....

Anyways since Pokemon Levels will be automatically 50 only 3 Pokemon btw for me anyways... so here's my team.

Left: Gigalith

[Moves]

Rock Blast (gonna switch with Stealth Rock soon)

Power Gem

Rock Slide

Stealth Rock

Earthquake?

Middle: Musharna (Dream World Ability)

[Moves]

Hypnosis

Dream Eater

Psychic

Lucky Chant

Right: Unefezant

[Moves]

Fly

Razor Wind

Detect

Air Slash

His Team should be

Servine/Serperior

Timburr/Gurdurr

Tympole/Palpitoad

Patrat

Panpour

Is my team somewhat ok?

Ehhh....I don't know....not sure what I would be able to replace Pansage / Simisage with though if I would switch out for a non-Grass. Here's the team + Types right now:

Dewott (Water)

Yamask (Ghost)

Solosis (Psychic)

Zebstrika (Electric)

Pansage (Grass)

Mienfoo (Fighting)

I kinda want to keep the single-typed thing going on, but I'm not sure what I would replace Pansage with. Maybe an Axew? I don't know.... Also, on the note of these Wing things you can find on bridges, 4 of say 1 certain wing on a pokemon = +1 to that stat when they Level up, correct? I wasn't never that good at understanding the whole EV / IV concept.

If you're gonna use Gigalith's Earthquake then do it only as a last resort; otherwise don't teach it at all, as it will hit your whole team as well. Actually, with this matchup, take out Gigalith; your cousin's Pokemon all target his weaknesses, and Gigalith is the slowest Pokemon on the list you posted.

I recommend your Unfezant in the middle, since your cousin's Servine/Serperior and Timburr/Gurdurr are weak to Flying, and Tympole/Palpitoad should be as well. Your Musharna should be on the same side as his Fighting type Pokemon.

Thing is even though Gigalith is really slow and all even if I did use Earthquake it wouldn't effect any of my team at all because Unefezant is a flying-type and Musharna's Dream World ability makes it Null and Void for it. Should I still keep Gigalith or switch out?

Earthquake yes will be a Last Resort move.

NOTE: He will be using 6 Pokemon as a handicap.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Let me clear up some even more conditions...

These are all handicaps.

6 vs 3

I can only use Revives and Potion variants.

No position switching.

(He may also have an Audino...)

Winner gets 1 Pokemon (non-legend under Level 25) from PC no training of any sort. Of course I want the exclusives he has in Black just to fill up my PokeDex and the satisfaction of boosted experience.

Don't want it to get missed, and I'm thinking of abandoning my Pansage -Sniffle- for an Axew, seeing after putting my team in Marriland's Team Builder, my team has less weaknesses without my Pansage / Simisage and with my Axew / Haxorus / Whatever is it's middle evolution is called. All I really need is someone(s) to say it's a good choice xP Or even to make me change my mind and instead keep the Pansage in my main.

Any suggestions and/or changes? I'm gonna evolve my Rufflet to Braviary most likely tomorrow, and then I'll switch it out to level something else, unless someone wants me to keep it as a slave for Fly that can still fight back. I'll probably switch Cobalion out soon to level something else up as well.

ProTip: Stop being a legend noob Get a bulky water. Bulky water Pokemon are the best.

Jellicent is a good one if you want something from Gen V. Tentacruel is a good choice if you don't. Both are good counters against Fighting Pokemon, which you have a slight weakness against, barring the possibility of using your HM Slave or Rufflet.

I have the sudden urge to stop playing Black and start replaying Sapphire.

Maybe it's just because I only have two guys on my team, but the game seems really repetitive so far. And you could argue that all Pokemon games are repetitive, but I never wanted to stop playing Diamond or SoulSilver, but Black kind of bores me.

Meh, we'll see. Hopefully there is a ton of after-game stuff so I can look forward to something.

WASTE.

It's called save, weaken, follow, repeat, and Quick Ball once its health is in red.

That and Mean Look.

-_________________________________________-

It's not a waste of a Master Ball. If it is you could say anything is. I hate being laughed at for Master Balling Mewtwo. >.>

Well Master Ball IS the only way to catch Mewtwo as far as I know.

White and Black allow you to get 2 Master Balls though. Do 50 Link Trades and talk to the guy with sunglasses on the 2nd floor in Castelia City's Pokemon Center; he'll give one.

I caught my Mewtwo (Red/PZR) with an Ultra Ball (last on in fact) and then used Master Ball on Roaming Suicuine
