Anbu-of-Sand
Random Question: How good are them Elemental Monkeys? I know one has a main use as an HM Slave, but what about the other two? Preferably the Grass one, because if it's any good, I may switch out the Ferrothorn for it. Being weak to 5 Types though out of 17 is somewhat, I guess I can use the word harmful? -Is currently looking at other Grass-Types in Pokemon Black and White-
DeathSDelano
Imo the monkeys are meh and if you are gonna start out with Mijumaru you get the fire one at the start. Also all 3 monkeys HAVE THE EXACT SAME STATS and almost the same movepool outside of there type moves and some TMs Ummm Ferrothorn only has 2 weaknesses which are Fire and fighting10 Strengths and 1 Immunity leaving 4 types that hit it for neutral damagealso take into account of its nice defensive stats + 94 base ATK so he's a good pokemon if you know how to use him

If you have a need for Electric type Pokemon, I highly recommend Tynamo. It's Electric with Levitate ability.

HitoKage
Day 5 of Shiny Hunting. Looking for a Shiny Snivy. Is it true that the chance of finding a shiny through the Masuda Method has actually increased?

It's Electric with Levitate ability. Only problem with Tynamo (or rather Eelektross) is that it's pathetically slow -_-Which is why I went with Zebriska over it. It has pretty good speed and attack, a pretty good combo if you ask me. /still needs help finding a good Grass Pokemon for the Gen., except for Amoonguss, my bro. has dibs on that one xD -Edit- One of my friend's on facebook posted a status saying the creator of Pokemanz died in ze Earthquake in Japan D:

Kuri
Simisage is pretty beast and its second evo looks cool too :P I think its movepool is decent I suggest training it upto Level 34 then evolving it.
Yang Xiao-Long
@Anbu: Simisage is arguably the best out of the three imo (even if I have Simipour due to my starter being Snivy), even though the stat gain for all three Simi's is the same. Anbu-of-Sand
Eh, I'm still probably going for Zebriska. Also, which Grass-Type is best out of the following? Lilligant http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Lilligant_(Pok%C3%A9mon)Sawsbuck http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Sawsbuck_(Pokémon)Ferrothorn http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Ferrothorn_(Pok%C3%A9mon)Simisage http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Simisage_(Pok%C3%A9mon)Leavanny http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Leavanny_(Pok%C3%A9mon) I'm probably going to go for Simisage, only because I like it's hair and seems the most average / decent out of all of them. -Edit- So Simisage it is then! Going to post up my bro's team in a few.
DeathSDelano
If you get own tempo liligant can be powerful with quiver dance + petal dance (doesnt get confused due to own tempo) or i would go with ferrothorn <-- thats just me because i like pokemon that can take hits and hit back ^ those are just my opinions from me playing through still have not use ferrothorn as i am saving him for my last run with my top starter (which atm out of snivy and mijumaru is mijumaru)
Kuri
Though you can only really get simisage by getting Tepig as a starter. And imo Tepig has got to have one of the worst Fire starter movepools ever....HP might be an upside for having crappy defense. Though last evo looks pretty cool. Oshawott though has to be the most balanced out of the 3 starters. Snivy is the one if your looking for Speed/Defense/Sp.Att (which is why I chose him) Ladies and gents this is Pokemon getting serious...

Does that means it's rare to get Simisage's lower evolution!?!?! D: -Thinks of something- My brother is starting with Tepig, so maybe he can get the lower Simisage and trade it to me :D
Yang Xiao-Long
My friend chose Oshawott because he said that Snivy had the worst base stats out of all the Grass Starters ever created in Pokemon...Considering I'm farther along in the game then he is, I say he's wrong. DeathSDelano
Well you CAN catch a monkey but its gonna be a pain to find pansage and catch him in pinwheel forest and lostlorn forest though only in RUSTLING grass <-- but is rare

I laugh! He has the best stats out of the 3 and a +1 for coolness Good Sp.Att/All out DEF/Speed make it a good opponent and at lv 36 He learns Coil which practically increases every stat. Regardless. Battle your friend's starter vs your starter 1v1. I bet that you will pwn with Coil/Wring Out/Finish for Emboar and just one plain old grass attack for Samurott. Well you CAN catch a monkey but its gonna be a pain to find pansage and catch him in pinwheel forest and lostlorn forest though only in RUSTLING grass10%.... Anbu-of-Sand
Read post no. 3Ummm, quote / link ploxx? Not really getting what you mean. Oh, here's my bro's premade team. Kuri
No I mean the 3rd quote sorry for the misunderstanding. I wanna to some battling on TUE anyone up for a match? Post your FC and stuff. Question though: Can you have all Pokemon set to level 50 in a Wi Fi battle?
Jacoby746
I say you should get Victini as soon as possible if you choose Oshowatt. There aren't a ton of fire pokemon in the game and it's really good in general.
Anbu-of-Sand
No I mean the 3rd quote sorry for the misunderstanding.Ah thank you. After reading quote number three, I can confirm I'll get my brother to get the lower evolution of Simisage from that person, and then convince him to trade it over to me :)

Same questions on if it looks solid and if majority / all of them are easy to obtain. Tell him to add Excadrill for some speed. Emboar's movepool is a bit suckish with only a few good Special and Psy attacks learned at the last evolution. Otherwise team is pretty good. Joltik is also found midway into the game btw. Same questions on if it looks solid and if majority / all of them are easy to obtain. It seems a bit to slow / defensive, so anyone have any suggestions? Seems a bit on the defensive side.Golurk's pre-evo is found after the 7th gym, Klingklang's 1st pre-evo is in Chargestone Cave, and the others should be found a bit following the 4th or 5th gym leader.Galvantula's probably nice to have, as it is a Bug/Thunder, and it is good for Speed stat. Your brother's team will have serious Speed stat issues as a whole though. Good as a wall, but unless he has some good Attack/Special Attack Pokemon, his team is only good for defending. Movepool is well balanced imo and would be a good Pokemon for multiple usage of Pokemon battling (ei. Triple, double, roatation)

Emboar's movepool is a bit suckish with only a few good Special and Psy attacks learned at the last evolution. Otherwise team is pretty good. Joltik is also found midway into the game btw.He thought of Excadrill, and concluded Klinklang and Garvantula were enough (I was surprised Klinkang was actually decently fast). Does this mean all the other pokemon are easy to find / obtain in the game as well? Just want to make sure, so he doesn't end up doing half of the game with only like, 2-3 pokemon and an HM Slave xD Seems a bit on the defensive side.Golurk's pre-evo is found after the 7th gym, Klingklang's 1st pre-evo is in Chargestone Cave, and the others should be found a bit following the 4th or 5th gym leader.Galvantula's probably nice to have, as it is a Bug/Thunder, and it is good for Speed stat. I can convince him to take out the Golurk for Kuri's suggestion on a Excadrill, and that'd leave him with 3 decently / pretty fast pokemon and 3 average / slow pokemon.
