Kingdom Hearts: War of the Hearts [Started][Accepting by PM][PG-16]

Recommended Posts

To think I wasn't one of the Keyblades' Chosen Ones. said Sean, annoyed as he walked through Twilight Town. Then somehow, a dark figure of sorts went through him, revealing visions of when Sean was a baby. It showed that his heart was stolen, giving birth to Naes. After that, the figure walked away from Sean. Sean was confused. He turned around and yelled, "Hey, what's the big idea!?" The figure stopped and turned with his hood up, hiding his face. Then the figure spoke as though the wind blowing was his voice. "The Heartless will end this war!" Sean wasn't sure what happened. Then the figure revealed his face. It wads Naes. Sean got an angry look on his face. He summoned his sword, as did Naes with his Heart Extractor blade. Naes then summoned a Guard Armor Heartless. "Destroy him!" Naes said in a calm voice. Naes then disappeared leaving the Guard Armor Heartless. Sean prepared his stance and waited for the Guard Armor's attack.

Xersha sighed, and thought for a second.

"My sister once told me that you need to evaluate your team. Learn their strengths and weaknesses, so you can maximize their potential, so let's start with me. I'm not very skilled at combat, but I can think on my feet, and I work well under pressure. I also can manipulate positive energy at will."

She demonstrated by creating several shots of white energy from her fists, as well as blades and shields of positive energy.

"Your turn, Norixa."

Norixa also concentrated, or at least mimed concentration, since it was very hard to see her face underneath her hood.

"Well...I'm not very good at hand-to-hand, but I know a lot of magical spells! I've got your basic elemental black magic, your healing and boosting white magic, and I even know learn a few of my opponent's moves via blue magic! Just protect me, and I will hit them from afar."

"Now, what about our resident Keyblader?"

[spoiler= Kickin' Ass and taking Names]

Morning' everyone, just your friendly neighborhood Hydra here. Since YRPOtaku asked me to help moderate, I feel like I should drop a few comments before I start here.

"Powerfullest" isn't a word.

And VII is the middle position between I and XIII' date=' plus the best Final Fantasy game of all time, so why shouldn't it be the second-in-command position?

Furthermore, magnet soldier, you do realize why I rejected your Cloud Nobody application, right?

[/quote']

I believe the number you're looking for there was V, Hehe. Accept no substitutes.

Norixa replied "I'm not kidding! I'm serious!"

But then she found Xaltenos gone. She rushed off to find him' date=' until she spotted something headed towards what appeared to be Xaltenos.

"Look out!" she cried as she tackled her partner just before he would've been turned into mincemeat by the attacker.

[/quote']

this is pushing the 4-line thing. It fits, but it's in the gray area that I hate working with. Try to keep above it if you can.

Norixa sighed' date=' and entered the Dark Corridor, which deposited her in a strange city. The buildings were all lit up in bright lights, and the night sky didn't have a single cloud. Everything also had a slight blue tint to it, and a steady techno beat could be heard through the burg.

"Where are we?" Norixa asked her new superior, who emerged with Talexa and Xersha.

[/quote']

So is this.

"Neopolis...." Xaltenos whispered to himself.

"Why haven't the organization ever talk bout this place...it's amazing" he said.

Xaltenos stared at his superior curious about what he was going to do with him and Norixa.

"What are you going to do with Norixa and me?' date=' train us to death" he chuckled.

[/quote']

This is the same, but awkwardly formatted so it's difficult to tell exactly how long it really is. Can't really warn the co-owner, but eh.

No warnings yet, just heads-up that I'll be cracking down on this.

Red glanced down at her own feet.

They dangled several feet above the air, the caps of the small waves almost lapping at her exposed heels. A chilling breeze gently lifted up the trim of her rather long skirt, flapping it in the air for a few seconds before it finally laid still by her legs one more.

"Quite." she said, completely unaware of the cold weather in the air, a chill that would normally send a girl such as herself, dressed as she was, back into the house with the sniffles. She was a petite thing, only about 5'3, with long auburn hair nearly down to her ankles. A small black earring, in the shape of half a heart, dangled from her left arms. She folded her arms across her modest bust, concealed quite well by her white shirt, reminiscent of a school girl's uniform, though distinctly casual. She didn't bother to wear any sort of jacket or coat over the thin material, and indeed, the only hint that she was even aware of the frosty weather being a scarf warn around her neck.

She glided herself briefly over to the clifface, gaining her balance easily with her uncovered feet, and nodded briefly at the small sprite darting around her.

What an odd world, she mused. It was a jungle, in all sense of the word; a tropical forest sprung up all around her, with all the bright trappings of a hot and steamy climate, and yet, silvery snow still capped the tops. It was as if, despite existing on different planes of existence, Neverland shared its cycle of seasons with its partner, London.

Neverland was a mystery, Red decided. It was part of London's world, and yet distinctly seperate. The laws of physics worked not as they usually did here, and belief, the power of the heart, seemed to be exorbitantly strong within its greenery. The evidence that the magic of a fairly and belief alone could make someone normally without the power fly was an obvious clue, but as Red thought on it more, the snow-capped world had deep, untapped potential.

She smirked ferally as her cute face morphed into something much fiercer for a moment, her canines revealed to be much sharper than any humanoid had the right to be. This world hid secret, and she would find them.

OOC: Accepted via PM as Gaius, a Heartless.

Gaius was atop a building in Twilight Town, investigating info on an extremely powerful heart. His goal this time was to take it alive, and NOT turn it into a Heartless. Doing so would trigger another Nobody, and that is something that Gaius could not allow to happen.

He put the bifocals on. Indeed, there was an extremely powerful glow on the north side, but there was something odd about it...

He snapped his fingers, and a Wyvern appeared.

"Investigate the heart, and return here once you've located it."

The wyvern shot off. After about five minutes, it returned.

"Did you find it?"

It nodded.

"Was it a person?"

It shook its head.

"Very good."

He snapped his fingers, and the Wyvern disappeared in standard Emblem fashion.

This was odd. Not only was there a false heart, but he sensed another intelligent Heartless in the reigon. Curiouser and curiouser...

OOC: Sorry I took so long to post. I hope the long posts make up for it.

IC:

Genesis

Twenty Minutes Ago

Genesis grinned. Sephiroth's newest shell, Xepsithro, had sent more Nobodies after him. Genesis rather liked Xepsithro. He was more imaginative than Loz, more reserved than Kadaj, and very similar to Yazoo, albeit stronger.

Xepsithro's lackeys had 'ambushed' Genesis just outside the Coliseum. The newest squad was composed of three Sorcerors, four Samurai, and one new concoction from the bowels of Castle Oblivion. This new Nobody vaguely resembled the Dragoon, but was taller, bulkier, and more heavily equipped, carrying two spears rather than one. The new Nobody, which Genesis decided to refer to as a Dragoon-X, was at the head of the formation.

With a wave of its hand, the Dragoon-X commanded its subordinates to surround Genesis. The trio of Sorcerors and the four Samurai formed a triangle and a square, respectively. The forces were equally distributed.

The Dragoon-X stepped forward. "We know you know where Cloud is. Tell us or we'll make you tell us."

Genesis smirked. Ah, hubris... He spread his feet to shoulder width, his right hand reaching for his Rapier. "Tell Xepsithro to ask me himself. One-Winged Angels should show each other common courtesy, at the least."

The Dragoon-X twirled its spears. "You have three seconds."

Genesis let out a roar of laughter. He unsheathed his Rapier and imbued its blade with energy in one second. He closed the distance to the nearest Samurai in one second. His blade was buried to the hilt in the Nobody's chest in the next. "Time's up."

The Nobodies sprang into motion. Sorcerors summoned their cubes, casting the blocks of energy at Genesis as the Samurai rushed him. Genesis leapt high into the air, extending his wing as the Samurai were pummeled by the cubes. He turned to face the ground again, casting Matra Magic. Four beams of blue energy curved out from Genesis' extended left palm, detonating in massive azure blasts when they hit the ground. The Samurai were annihilated.

Genesis dropped straight down, vertically bifurcating one Sorceror. He ducked a cube attack from the second as he shredded the third with a volley of feathers. The second Sorceror lasted a second longer, Genesis' rapier severing the upper half of its head.

Genesis settled in the air, lazily flapping his wing. He turned his head to face the Dragoon-X. "Now it's just you and me."

The Dragoon's spears spun in its hands like buzzsaws as the Nobody shot towards Genesis. The ex-SOLDIER pivoted to the right, jabbing the rapier through the whirling spears. The glowing red blade sliced the whirling polearms to pieces, the Dragoon-X just barely halting itself in time to avoid a similar fate. Genesis smiled, bringing the blade to the Dragoon-X's neck with a twitch of his wrist.

"Time's up." Genesis decapitated the Nobody, watching as it melted into a gray wisp before disappearing. That had been fun.

Genesis turned up to face the Dusk that had been monitoring the fight. "Make sure to bring Xepsithro my message. If he wants info on Cloud, he asks personally." Without responding, the messenger disappeared through a Corridor of Darkness.

And just like that, Genesis was alone in the courtyard.

Xepsithro

Now

Xepsithro sighed, casting his eyes down at the blank white floors of Castle Oblivion. His irritation at the messenger Nobody made its annihilation highly tempting. "So all of our agents stationed at the Coliseum were destroyed, and none of them got any intel out of Genesis?"

The Dusk nodded vigorously. "Genesis said that he'll only talk to you, milord. He mentioned something about 'One-Winged Angels'."

Xepsithro closed his eyes and took a deep breath through his nostrils. After a moment, he exhaled, slowly releasing the air from his mouth. He felt the warmth on the inside of his lips as the gaseous cocktail of nitrogen, oxygen, and assorted other chemicals were expelled from his lungs. He'd developed this breathing exercise a long time ago as a way to deal with incompetence. It had come in handy. "Where are Lominax and his Seraphs?"

The Dusk raised a tendril to consult a floating, holographic keypad beside it. The Organization's tech had advanced far since Xemnas' death. "Most of them are scattered throughout the worlds either on deployment or resting, but Lominax, Talexa, and Xersha, the new Seraph, are in Neopolis. They're with Xaltenos and Norixa, milord. I believe they've begun a training exercise of some sort."

Xepsithro opened his eyes. "Take me to them. I want to see what they're capable of. I'm going to need some of them to go with me on a mission."

"Yes, milord." The Dusk executed a sharp bow in the air. It turned and opened a Corridor of Darkness. The messenger Dusks had been specially engineered years ago, with combat ability sacrificed for mobility and other special characteristics. The power to open Corridors was one of them. Xepsithro and the Dusk stepped through the Corridor, disappearing.

The two reappeared atop a building in what Xepsithro recognized as Neopolis. The Organization Commander expanded his senses, searching for power. He found it concentrated in two places. Lominax and Talexa were together, moving quickly through the city. Norixa, Xaltenos, and an unfamiliar energy (most likely Lominax's new Seraph, Xersha) were clustered in the middle of the street. Xepsithro smiled. Lominax's training exercises always made for quite entertaining viewing.

Lominax appeared next to his superior, and bowed. "Milord. I wasn't expecting you here."

Meanwhile, Xersha just paused and started to shiver as her eyes widened. "Can't you feel that? That pure malice and hatred? It's overwhelming! Where is it coming from?!?"

As he stated that he was Xalice's new partner the two looked with surprise at him.

"Sorry to be rude' date=' but my superior told me that you are now assigned to be my partner. Now what were you two talking about?"

A after about 10 minutes of them explaining what happened Xenon began to lower his guard.

Xalice asked "So who are you?"

"Organization Member II, if you stick around a while and you may find out."

[/quote'] OCC: You can't control what my character says. =\

IC: The moment The new person appeared Xalice pointed at him and screamed. "BEHIND YOU MARK! THERE'S A SCARY GUY!" she said startled. She didn't know how much Mark new about the organization but she wasn't about to let Xenon mess it up. Thankfully her screeching voice muffled out what he was saying. "No. Never mind, Mark He's not scary I think I recognize him. You just give us a minute while I go talk to this kid." She winked at Mark and said, "I'll only be a moment just stay here." She slowly placed her arm around Xenon's neck and attempted to walk around the corner with him. "Come with me a moment, dear." she said endearingly.

"Ahhh...this is the life!"

"You said it, boss!"

"I can't believe that old coot Laguna let us have a week-long vacation!"

"Well, this is as good a place to spend it as any!"

"Point taken. Good food, good friends, and good music!"

"And the best of all, Good hunting!"

"Damn straight!" "Hell, yeah!" "You said it!"

A group of young men and women were sitting around a very large table in a restaurant at the top of one of Neopolis' skyscrapers, eating, chatting, and overall having a good time. They all had odd clothing, especially the one in the middle with a large silver coat, a black ski cap, gloves, boots, and a T-Shirt. The man got up to reveal that he towered above the few people standing, and walked over to the window overlooking the beautiful city, sighing as he scanned the landscape...

Until he spotted something down on the highway below.

Two of the figures were in black cloaks, and one of them had their hood up, but the other had black hair, while the third caught his eye with a shade of pink hair tied into a braid that he only knew one person had.

The man walked out of the restaurant, leaving his friends behind.

"Serah..." He muttered as he entered the elevator, and headed down to meet the Nobodies.

Xaberis got up from where he was sitting on the roof. he looked around noticing a very strong heartless pressence in the area. "man whata drag now i have to do somthing... then agian i could ignore this presence but that will probley get me in a load of trouble." Xaberis sighed.

"man how did i get into this situation." he sat back down and thought back to when he still had a heart. " man if i had only know that those people had been heartless i wouldnt have messed with them and then i wouldnt be this stupid nobody. man i wish i was still whole."

Xepsithro

Xepsithro waved a hand at Lominax, allowing the Nobody to stand from his bow. "Lominax. What entertainment have you prepared today? I'm looking forward to seeing what your new Seraph is capable of. Your training exercises are always quite engaging." Xepsithro turned, casting his eyes down the street at Norixa, Xaltenos, and an unfamiliar Nobody he assumed to be Xersha, the new Seraph. He saw Xersha shiver with fear. "I think the new Seraph is scared of me." Xepsithro chuckled. "I tend to have that effect on the younger ones. So when does this exercise of yours start?"

Lominax grinned as he pushed up his glasses. "Now."

Talexa appeared next to Lominax, and knelt next to him. "What are your orders, Master?"

Lominax concentrated, then had an idea pop into his head.

"Shadow them until they run into some Heartless. Once they have defeated the group, attack."

Talexa nodded, then vanished.

"Let's start moving to a more convenient venue, shall we?"

"Me well.....I'm somewhat of master of combat, and I combine my combo attacks with a tight defense...is that ok?" he asked rubbing his hood.

Xaltenos stood there waiting for there response still runbbing his hood he thought.

"I hope they don't think I'm bragging about myself....but what else can I do?"

"O and I can do a little bit of offensive magic....nobody ever taught me how to do the big magic stuff like you two can do" he said letting his head down.

Xalentos was starting to feel bad for himself for not being able to use magic but he begun to think "I'm the Keyblade Wielder I can do anything if I strive for it" He lifted his head up then got in his battle stance.

"Even though I can't do the magic you two can we can still do this" he said as a smile grew on his face. But as quickly as the smile came it dissapeared.

Xaltenos had sensed a dark presence it started to overwhelmed him, he then feel of on his knees in shock.

"guys....what or who is that?"

Several Heartless materialized, but these Heartless were different...

One kind had a short, almost chibi-like body with spiky-blond hair, an enormous set of headphones, giant shades, a hoodie and jeans with floppy sneakers. There was only one of him. The next was thin and slender, almost willowy, with multi-colored hair and glow sticks adorning its body. Interestingly, no two skinny Heartless looked the same, with different color schemes. The final species was huge and bulky, with a three-piece suit, a hulking, gorilla-shaped body and a comically tiny head. There were a few of them, but not as many as the skinny dancing Heartless.

"What are those?" Xersha asked, puzzled at the new breeds.

Norixa pointed to the willowy ones.

"Those are Ravers. These feminine Heartless dance across the battlefield, attacking their enemies with blasts of light and energy whips."

She then pointed at the midget.

"That's a DJ. They don't really fight physically, but they use sound-based attacks to stun their foes and power up their allies."

She then pointed at the hulks in suits.

"And those are Bouncers. They protect weaker Heartless by smashing anyone who gets in their way with powerful physical attacks. Think of a Large Body crossed with a Morning Star."

Xaltnos stood up still in shock a bit

"Whoever or whatever that presence came from I won't back down...cause I know....me and my team will beat anyone in our way" Xaltenos look at Norixa then at Xersha.

"Norixa....cast your magic on the Ravers and Dj, Xersha you help her, I'll distract the Bouncers and when you defeat the ravers and Dj help me"

"This seems to weird like someone planned for these heartless to attack...but I can't worry about that right now we have to defeat these heartless so we can fight Lominax"

He started to rush at the Bouncers "Hey over grown heartless over here". Running away from Norixa and Xersha so the heartless would follow. A quick image of a person who seemed familiar appeared in his head. xaltenos stopped running "What was that?".

((There's only one DJ.))

The DJ started playing a funky rave beat, and the Ravers started to move to that beat, zipping around the area faster than usual. The Bouncers also started to nod their heads to the beat as they moved in to kick Xaltenos' ass.

But Xersha generated two Nobody symbol-esque blades of white energy and started to hack at the Ravers.

Above, Talexa was watching, observing their movements, and studying their attack patterns, wating for the opprtune time to strike.

And above her, Lominax had just finished escorting Xepsithro and his entourage to a good place to watch the battle unseen.

"So, how do like the Emblem Heartless of this world, milord?" Lominax asked.

Norixa generated the two glowing angel wings and charged at the DJ, purifying Ravers in her path. She then landed in front of the DJ, and charged up a fireball. The DJ, on the other hand, started blasting out a powerful beat that started to negate the fireball. Norixa continued to power up her fire spell, but the DJ kept negating it. Finally, Norixa compromised, and released the giant fireball she had, destroying the DJ, but consuming her in the fireball as well.

((sorry kinda off track 2day))

Xaltenos snapped back into reality, he turned around to only see a bouncer's fist hit him in the face, he flew into a build then hit the ground leaving his body's shape in the wall. "Damn that really hurt" Xaltenos got up slowly in pain, "your gonna pay for that" he summoned his keyblade in his right hand. He charged at the Bouncers and sliced at their stomachs, the attacks bounced of their bellys. "How the hell am I suppoise to beat them?....the head"

Xaltenos jumped in the air to attack a one of the bouncers face causuing it to grow angry then bouncers belly's grew spikes and started to spin around the other bouncers copied.

"Well that wasn't part of the plan" he said landing on the ground.

((Wow. Thanks for adding that feature!))

Xersha finished off the last Raver, only to see Xaltenos struggling with the Bouncers.

She attacked the Bouncer closest to her, flying up to where she could hit their heads with a positive energy-assisted punch. Hitting the front of the face caused spikes to pop out of their bodies, but she discovered that the BACK of the head, just where their necks should be, was their weak point.

Their very tiny weak point.

Xersha played a quick game of Whack-A-Bouncer, helping Xaltenos finish off the Bouncers, until she saw an explosion out of the corner of her eye.

"Norixa! No!"

But something emerged from the fireball, although what did emerge was a bit shocking.

At first, it appeared to be a Dancer Nobody, but she had blue pants, black boots, and a blue vest with a fur collar that covered part of her chest. She also had long, black hair with a few caramel streaks in it. The upper half of her face was covered by bangs, but the lower half was visible, with a Nobody maw where the mouth would be.

"Well, I guess you get to see me in my true form." Norixa glumly stated. "Now, am I hideous or what?"

Xersha zoomed over and gave the elder Nobody a hug.

"Am I hideous? Is this silver-skinned, cybernetic body of nothing more than a weapon ugly? You're no uglier than I am! And I'm a f**king angel, and so are you!"

Xersha weeped into Norixa's chest, crying at her misfortune.

Talexa silently moved above the three as she maneuvered into a position to take out Xersha and Norixa in one fell swoop.

Norixa was stunned at Xersha's sudden outburst. Xersha was beautiful to Norixa, and, in fact, she envied Xersha for such a glorious body, but Norixa had no idea that Xersha hated her appearance as much as Norixa loathed her own.

Norixa then petted the younger Nobody, comforting her.

"Thank you. I'll tell you the story of how I got to be like this. It all started-"

Norixa stopped as something punctured her chest.

"Xersha...do you...know any...healing...techniques?"

Xersha also felt a warm blade enter her chest, and looked up to see Talexa behind them, with one of her blades in the other two Nobodies' chests.

"I...hope so..." Xersha replied weakly as Talexa removed her energy blade from their chests, causing the two of them to double over, bleeding profusely.

Talexa shook her blade, splattering blood on a nearby door, then moved in to take out Xaltenos.

"Game over, Number Eleven." Talexa emotionlessly intoned as she raised her blades to attack.

OoC: Sorry for not posting. I had a lot to think about for this post along with personal issues.

Sean ran up to the Guard Armor and slashed it's right leg and jumped to it's head, slashing rapidly. Then the Guard Armor separated into different parts. Hands, legs, and head. Oh, great! Sean thought. The legs came at Sean as he jumped and slashed one of them from behind, destroying it. Then the head and arms came together, creating something Sean had never seen before. It looked like a baseball pitching position. Then the arms threw the head at Sean. He slashed though it with ease, but it wasn't destroyed yet. "This is getting annoying!" Sean yelled at himself.

OoC: Who else is in Twilight Town? Sean needs some backup!
