Kingdom Hearts: War of the Hearts [Started][Accepting by PM][PG-16]

Xepsithro deactivated his Wall barrier, reaching up with his right hand. Using Waterga, he engulfed Xaltenos' Firaga-hand in a sphere of water. As the water drowned the flames, Xaltenos' keyblades continued whirling towards Xepsithro. The Organization Leader cast a basic, first-level Haste upon himself, using the enhanced speed to snatch them out of the air and throw them past him. He knew from experience that Keyblades had an innate 'auto-targeting' system when thrown, and that this system could be fooled by making them lose sight of the target, in which case they returned to the user.

Xaltenos continued plummeting towards Xepsithro. The Organization Leader leapt up at Haste speed to meet him, gripping him by the collar with his left hand. Xepsithro casually flicked his wrist, throwing Xaltenos to the ground. The Keyblade Master landed with a loud thud slightly muffled by his cloak. Xepsithro used his telekinesis (another power 'inherited' through Sephiroth's enhanced genetics) to pin Xaltenos to the ground and hold him still.

Then the Keyblades returned. Without hands waiting to catch them, the blades disappeared in bright flashes of light.

Xepsithro released his grip on Xaltenos. "You're rather skillful, and I liked the use of elemental magic to enhance your hand-to-hand. Another good tactic was the use of the blade throw to distract the opponent from the fire attack, though I think that tactic would be better suited to ranged magic or team combat. One other thing- be careful about using aerial maneuvers like the one just now. Since you can't fly, you lose a lot of mobility in the air. Stick to the ground mostly, and don't go too high unless you have to." Xepsithro cast Cura on the Keyblade Wielder, healing his bruises.

The Organization Commander turned to face Lominax. "We're going to the Coliseum for three reasons. First, we're going to meet with Genesis. He claims to have information on Cloud, who is a threat on par with Ultimecia herself. Second, one of our agents stationed there claims that there's a Heartless spy undercover in the Coliseum, waiting for one of us to approach Genesis. Stisquix will disguise herself as me, and the rest of us will conceal ourselves. When Genesis meets with Stisquix, we'll wait for the spy to emerge and then capture it. We'll interrogate them and get intel on the Heartless, and we'll get info on Cloud from Genesis. Third, we need to send a message to the universe that the Organization is the strongest out there. We've been deadlocked with the Heartless for years, and we need to show the masses that we're still the strongest. To do this, we'll compete in the Coliseum Tournaments, our inevitable victories allowing us to inspire respect and fear in the Humans. It'll be a good way to practice combat techniques and decompress as well. Xaltenos, you take Norixa back to the Castle, locate Xalice through the Command Center's tracking system, and go to her. Inform her of my and Lominax's current mission, then assist her however she requires." Xepsithro turned back to the Corridor. "Well, then, let's get on with this." With that, he stepped through the Corridor, melting into darkness.

"WAIT!!!" A voice cried out from nearby. A large man with a grey trenchcoat, a black ski hat, blonde hair and blue eyes popped out from behind a nearby sign. "What the hell is going on here? Why are you guys gonna compete in the Royale Cup?" He then dramatically pointed to Xersha. "And why does that THING look my fiancee?!?"

Xersha was shocked at Snow's arrival. "Snow! It's me, Serah! I was turned into a Nobody along with Claire after the attack on Cocoon! This is just my Battle Form!" She then started towards Snow. "Please, Snow, you have to believe me. I still love you. There hasn't been a day that has past that I haven't thought of you. I'm so glad to see you're still alive."

OoC: Well were there any big plot changes? i don't have time to read all the post can someone just pm me if their were any big changes?

((Shortposting...))

Yubaba sighed as the Organization XIII member entered her office. "You have met with Su, I gander? Well, I knew some Nobody would come snooping around here someday. One of your ilk asked me to hide this child, and hide her I did. She has no memory of her old life, but the one who contacted me gave me instructions if another one of his kind showed up." She whipped out a contract. "Please sign, Mister Xenon. I will not let you leave until you do so."

OoC: sorry

IC: "I knew it" he muttered to himself as he found out that Su was a nobody. But who was this other nobody that this boss was talking about? And what was this thing about a contract. Xenon hesitated for the pen to sign the slip of paper she was holding out. Before he put the pen to the contract he asked "What does this mean?". Knowing that she would just say to read it, he tryed looking it over but still didn't understand why this was necessary, was it to keep this place a secret. He didn't care as much about that; what he did care about was why he was sent here.

Yubaba took up the contract once Xenon had signed it, and morphed the letters into "Zi". "Your new name is 'Zi', and that's what you will be called during your stay. Also, you have been magically prevented from being able to talk about your past, your current, and generally anything having to do with Organizatiom XIII until your contract is suspended. I will contact Su's guardian and let him know that the time is up. Until he arrives, you are to eliminate any Heartless on my property. We can't let my guests be driven away by such annoying pests!" She pulled Zi in close, almost close enough to swallow him whole. "DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!?" She yelled at the Nobody.

Snow recoiled at Xersha's advances. "How can you be Serah? Nobodies are formed from the body and soul of the shell a Heartless leaves behind. I have your body, so are you simply her soul?" He then pulled up his sleeve to show a watch-like device, which he then activated. "Serah, please materialize at my coordinates."

A hologram manifested itself next to Snow. It appeared to have a Space Paranoids-esque design, with magenta and pink being the colors used. Her body was armored like a program's, but her head didn't ave a helmet, letting her ethereal hair flow freely behind her.

And she looked almost exactly like Xersha's Normal Form.

"Yes sir?" She then turned to see Xersha. "Hmm...this appears to be my Nobody. What a peculiar species. I will have to catalog her for future reference."

Xersha was a little bit irritated. "I'm a Seraph now." She coldly replied as she approached her doppelganger. "That's what type of Nobody I am. And you probably haven't heard of me because there are only a few of us." She then turned to Snow. "Snow, it's really me. I bet you she doesn't have my memories, does she? I remember the first time I met you, and we fell in love with each other. I remember that beautiful night watching the fireworks and accepting your proposal for marriage. I remember being captured by Anima!" Xersha started to sound angrier and angrier. "I remember being crystallized! I remember being destroyed by Barthandelus! I remember hugging you tightly after Cocoon was ruined, and my sister finally accepting our love! I remember the Heartless attack! I remember Ultimecia ripping out my heart! That program doesn't remember anything, does she? She just drive your ship while you try to find a cure! She doesn't love you back like I do!!!"

Snow punched Xersha in the cheek before Xersha could destroy Serah in vengeance. "You're right. She doesn't remember anything. She is nothing more than a doll made from your brain. But I love her more than I love you, because you're working for the Organization! You're helping them take over worlds! You're helping them kill innocent people! The Organization hasn't stopped the Heartless threat, they've only made it worse!"

Xersha started to tear up, and muttered, "That's not true..."

Lominax appeared in between Snow and Xersha, the expression on his face somber and serious. "Mister Villiers, that is quite enough." He transformed Xersha back into her normal form, which shocked Snow. "What? You thought her Battle Form was her permanent appearance? Hardly. I prefer to keep my Seraphs looking more or less normal when I'm not using them. And don't even get me started on your little group of girls and boys trying to play soldier!"

He took Xersha into a Dark Corridor, grabbing Xaltenos and Norixa while he was at it. "Come along, you two. We have a lot to discuss..."

Xepsithro paused for a moment. Why weren't the others following him through the Corridor? Before closing the portal, he poked his head back through just in time to witness Snow's outburst and Lominax's reaction.

As Lominax, Xersha, Norixa, and Xaltenos disappeared through the corridor, Xepsithro stepped all the way through the portal, which placed him about two yards to Snow's right. He cast his eyes downward, sighing in exasperation. "Mr. Villiers, you really don't have any idea what you're talking about, do you? Let me explain something very important.

"Assuming you aren't as bereft of cognitive function as you appear, you will most likely remember the Heartless threat from a decade ago, the one led by Maleficent and the Seeker of Darkness. They ravaged the worlds, caused great destruction, et cetera, et cetera. The Heartless of today could crush Maleficent's army with less effort than it takes you to say something idiotic and misinformed. If not for the Organization that you so hate, the Organization that I lead, and the Organization that your beloved Team NORA actually benefits by killing Heartless for hire, then the worlds would be living under such despair and horror as you cannot even begin to comprehend. We are the only major force standing between civilization and annihilation. Our goal is not to consume as the Heartless do; we only seek to restore our original forms and become complete once again. In other words, our purpose is to return that 'Nobody' that you struck just now to your dearly beloved Serah. And I'll pretend I didn't hear that ignorant prattle about 'killing innocent people'. Nobody is 'innocent', but besides that, we don't run around senselessly killing humans. We gain nothing by snuffing out the lives of normal humans like you, as tempting as some occasionally make it."

Xepsithro lunged at Snow, placing two fingers directly upon Snow's Adam's apple. "So, the next time you decide to shoot your mouth off about something you are so evidently ignorant about, I'll trust that you won't do it in front of nearly a dozen different Nobodies that could kill you without batting an eyelid." Now Xepsithro's eyes narrowed, his voice lowering to a tone he reserved for those few he truly desired to kill. "And one other thing. The next time you strike one of my soldiers, I will personally hunt you down wherever you may hide, be it the core of a black hole, the End of the World, or the throne room of Ultimecia's Castle itself. When I find you, I will bring you a special gift. Pray that you never find out what it will be." With that, Xepsithro seized Snow's collar with one hand, lifting him a foot into the air before throwing him down to the ground. "Now leave, before you piss off someone with less restraint than me."

Snow and Serah turned their backs to the Organization leader and started to walk away, but Snow stopped for a second. "Well, do you remember Operation Stalwart? Canceling that brilliant idea was a death sentence for my world, and probably any others that were part of that program." He continued to walk away after saying that.

Kixa was working in her laboratory, assisted by her Alchemist Nobodies, when Lominax and several other Nobodies showed up. "Lominax! About time! I was getting worried."

Xemanon exited through a COD and immediately said, "Sir, I have found a new world. It is....." He suddenly noticed that Xepsithro wasn't there. He then opened another COD and walked through it, hoping to find Xepsithro there. But he wasn't, so Xemanon kept trying everywhere. After a long while, he just decided to revisit the new world he discovered. Xepsithro can wait.

Lominax shoved Norixa, Xaltenos, and Xersha into a messy laboratory that didn't look like Castle Oblivion at all. "Sorry for my tardiness, Kixa. I had to deal with an uninvited guest." He stepped next to Kixa and turned towards the trio. "This is Kixa, Number 12 of the Organization, and the brains behind several anti-Heartless gadgets, including the Seraph Program. Kixa, this is Xaltenos, Number 11, the new Keyblader, Norixa, Number 13, who you already know, and Xersha the Seraph of Kindess, my most recent creation using your technology."

Xersha was dumbtruck. "YOU'RE the one that created those transforming coffins?!?"

Xaltenos looked around the laboratory even thought it was a mess he didn't care it was still amazing in his eyes he quickly turned to look at Kixa and Lominax, "umm....what are we doin here Lominax" Xaltenos was nervous he was scared about what he as going to do with him, "Is he going to turn me into a Seraph?"Xaltenos tried to sneak out the room but he thought what would Lominax would do to him if he ran, he could kill him or turn him into a nobody, Xaltenos stood still in fear of Lominax, he then started to look at Kixa, he scanned her body up and down over and over again, he took a big gulp hoping no one noticed him staring at her.

Lominax laughed at the question like it was a big joke. "Of course not! Why would I convert you into a Seraph? My Seraphs are only females..." Lominax leaned close to Kixa and whispered "By the way, could you possibly research into a conversion method that would allow a male to become a female Seraph?"

He then resumed facing Norixa and Xaltenos. "Now, I have a very important question for you two: How loyal are you to the Organization?"

A CoD appeared inside the lab and Xemanon came out of it, looking around. "Do any of you know where the Leader is?" He asked. He looked around again, just to be sure. "If you see him, inform him I have discovered a new World. Not that you will."

Xemanon turned towards the CoD once once but changed his mind afterward. "I missed something. What do you research on again, Kixa?"

Kixa jotted down Lominax's request, and whispered something incomprehensible back to him, before turning to Xemanon.

"Did you say a new world? As the head of the Organization's R&D department, I am willing to accompany you on an official survey of the new planet. But first, will you answer Lominax's question? Please?"

Xemanon simply stayed quiet. Despite being as small as a child, and in extension, A child, he acted like he was older than the rest of them. "Lominax asked a question? I cannot recall Lominax asking me anything."

Aravis watched as an army of Heartless marched from a high cliff. She let herself down, as always. She was surprised that she even still existed. Somewhere in that huge crowd was her Heart, which she would never be able to reclaim. She watched as the Dark-Elf led the army of Heartless towards new land.

Lominax sighed. "How loyal are you to the Organization?"

A shimmer in the air tat was almost undetectable started to change and shift into an exact replica of Aravis. "Forgive my intrusion, but your presence is required back at the site." "Aravis" then changed into Stisquix's Battle Form. "Lominax is putting the finishing touches on his opus."

Xemanon turned towards Lominax. "Loyal? We have no Hearts to be 'Loyal'. I am only in the Organization because of my desire for a Heart. So my answer would have to be 'no'."

Aravis sighed. "What, already?.....Ah, nevermind." Aravis then disappeared into thin air, and reappeared at the site. "So, I'm here."

She looked around for a moment.

Lominax powered down Stisquix, returning her to a human form. "Thank you, Epsilon." Stisquix nodded back to Lominax in acknowledgement before exiting the room. Lominax then turned to Xemanon and Avaris. "Let me tell you all a story of a little plan the Organization had a few years ago that directly affects several of you, if you all don't mind..."

Xemanon waited for the story of this 'plan'. It probably wasn't very significant, but does it even matter? Aravis's pointy ears shook a bit, indicating she was listening carefully. She was curious. She knows little of information outside her own elvish world.

"Who would mind?" She said in her light tune.

"A few years ago, Xepsithro finally approved one of my numerous plans, 'Operation Stalwart'. This plan was based off of the Dying World, a planet that had been under seige by Heartless for decades, but the inhabitants had created anti-Heartless technology by mixing magic and science. That world eventually fell, creating Kixa here in the process, but Kixa's understanding of that technology allowed her to become a junior member of the Organization like Avaris is now, and she created an anti-Heartless field that could be set up around several worlds. The Organization would create several dozen satellite networks around key worlds, protecting them from Heartless attack. One of these worlds was Gran Pulse, Xersha and Snow's homeworld. Another was the Elven Homeworld. Unfortunately, these fields could prevent temporary Dark Corridors from forming, like the ones the Organization uses, and Xepsithro, thinking that the project was a complete waste of time while his precious 'Cloud' was getting away, discontinued the Operation midway. We were only able to save 7 worlds out of the 169 we had targeted, Gran Pulse, the world we are currently orbiting, and the Elven Homeworld among the casualties."

Lominax slammed his fist against a bulkhead. "That mishap opened my eyes to how ineffective Xepsithro is. He is obsessed with two things: destroying Cloud, the only man who can possibly kill him, and conquering the universe, which he is well on his way towards doing. He will stop at nothing to achieve those goals, even if it means lying to the faces of the very people who he leads. As a soldier, I cannot tolerate that, and I therefore started gathering up my resources. For the past several years, I have countermanipulated and dealt behind the Organization's back, and this tournament is the crowning event. I have managed to let Ultimecia know that the Organization is participating in the tournament coming up, and they will probably deploy their commanders, including your opposite half, Xaltenos."

Lominax was now pointing at Xaltenos, waiting for him to say something.
