"Hmmm...If I could get some more monster's in my Grave...yeah, it could work..." MArk drew his card.

"...Yeah, I activate Miracle Dig, which allows me to take 3 of the 5 monster's removed from play, and put them back in my graveyard!" MArk said, as his Cyber Dragon, W-Wing Catapult, and Y-Dragon Head returned to his Graveyard.

"...That's all I can do for now...your turn..." He said calmly. If he could draw the right card's...HE could get rid of that Flint Warrior...

Thomas simply pointed his finger at a facedown, he soon smiled and said, "This is Punishment. Punishment, allows me to add one spell counter for each Strife Warrior in my graveyard, if I have three, I can negate an attack, and destroy the attacking monster by removing all of the Strife Warriors in my graveyard from play. I also have three more counters left, which allows me to use Punishment Resolve, for the remaining three counters, I can summon one Strife Warrior for each removed from play Strife Warrior, but I cannot use a Punishment Card again. I bring back Blackstrike, and I bring back the discarded Strife Warrior atone!"

Thomas smiled and said, "Game. If I summon Blackstrike and Atone successfully, then I can use this card, Dark Atonement. It allows me to use Atone to attack twice if I remove the top three cards on my deck, and I also must destroy every card on my side of the field at the end of the turn."

 

Atone with 1950 attack points, attacked twice doing 3800 damage, and Blackstrike did 2900 damage.

 

"Game, set, match." Thomas said as he soon looked at the way Greed was holding her cards and soon began thinking, "Where did she learn to hold her cards and deck like that?"

 

Thomas turned his head as the field disintergrated.

"Don't think like this game is over yet, Thomas! You forget my last face-down. It is Mask of Perplexity! This lets me change your Blackstrike's attack to your Atone, which pretty much stops all your attacks." Greed smirked. "Now, it is my turn, and all your cards are destroyed by Dark Atonement. Now, I activate Final Resting Place of the Phantom Beasts and summon Phantom Beast Wild-Horn (1700/0), and now I remove all 11 Phantom Beast cards, boosting my Wild-Horn's attack to 3900! Now, go, Wild-Horn and..." Greed faltered and looked at Thomas' face. Greed had seen that focused expression somewhere before...

Thomas laughed an almost insane laugh similar to Greed's own as he smiled an insane smile as his headphones fell off, Thomas soon smiled as he said, "One last card, as my two cards are destroyed, and I have 19 Strife Warriors removed from play, this is game. I use Death Bringer to take away your monster's attack points and adds it as direct damage to your life points for only half my deck. As you have no more face downs, I can do this!"

Thomas raised his glowing card as he said, "I have won. This is Strife, The Last Testament. I am allowed to take all of your life points if I have more than 20 Strife Warriors in your graveyard or removed from play. This cannot be negated as I have five more Strife Warriors in my graveyard or removed from play as I finish you, I am also allowed to recoil from this by drawing five cards if you can, somehow negate the effect."

Thomas soon was about to finish the duel as he called the command and he soon picked up his headphones as he thought, "Impossible, she almost duels like......that's impossible."

Greed gave her last smile. She had invoked the power of Satan in this duel, and the loser of this duel would die... so if she was going down, she was taking Thomas down with her.

Greed looked at the last card in her hand. Death Grip. It would allow Greed to share the damage she would get from both players would take from Death Bringer. It was the only way to make sure Thomas would die... Greed looked up and saw the card about to take effect. It was now or never. Greed took a deep breath and then, suddenly Greed remembered something, something long forgotten, just one little sentence from her childhood- Hey, Melissa... Wait a second, that was Thomas' voice, and that- that was her name...Melissa... Muro.

Thomas Muro was her brother.

"My god." Greed said, and almost as if by magic, her mask snapped and fell off her face. "Thomas...is that you?

A sudden shock of electricity ran through Gluttony. He grinned. He laughed. Oh, that laugh! Insane, vile, it was like Frankenstein had discovered how to make his monster all over again.

"My boy, I'm afraid I'm going to have to let you go, as I have some...business to attend to."

He deactivated his Duel Disk, and scrambled up the tree. He made it to the window where he saw Greed.Positioning himself carefully, he launched himself from the tree, and through the window, scooping up the two halves of Greed's mask, and landing on a tree on the other side.

"A true challenge! Can one man hold two Sins!" He laughed as he fell from the tree, out of sight. Once he landed, he began making his way over to Wrath. He had an idea.

"Melissa?" Thomas asked as a flood of memories came back to his head and as he saw that the loser would lose their soul, Thomas did something uncalled for by using the glowing card and ending the duel, as he put up the glowing card, forcefully ending the duel in a draw, as he ran to his sister and looked at her saying, "It's been almost two years, where did you go sis?"

 

Thomas smiled as he smiled at his sister but soon saw a duel between Mark and the other sins member as he said, "Where do you live? I'll visit when no one else can follow........and why did you become evil?"

 

Thomas smiled as he soon thought to himself, "I'm still the same, after all of these years, always asking questions."

 

Thomas saw the sins member and quickly swiped the mask for his prized headphones as he handed them to his sister, "Here, he's taking my headphones."

[Quiksilver]

"I-I don't- know..." Greed fell to the floor. "Oh no- Its Satan- he's-AAUGH!!!"

 

<Once in my possession, girl, you will never escape! You shall not LIVE FREE OF ME!!!>

 

"Aaugh!!!" Greed, I mean Melissa, screamed. "He's taking over! Satan- I never wanted- but he just came in and took control, and- AAUGGHHH!!! He's taking control again!!! Thomas, help me!!!"

Mark blinked as Gluttony ran off, while His Flint Warrior Disappeared. Mark drew his next card, seeing it was exactly what he had been hoping for.

"...HEY!!! What's the Deal!? we're not done yet!!" Mark shouted, as he deactivated his Duel Disk, causing Chimeratech Overdragon to Disappear, and he rushed after Gluttony, Climbing up the tree, and jumping into the window.

"where'd he go! where'd he-" Mark blinked as he saw Thomas.

"...Huh? you?...I was wondering where you went..." Mark said, calming down for the moment as he looked at Thomas.

Thomas soon said as a dark aura came from Melissa and a bright aura came from him and they were battling each other, "Come on, free my sister, why are you intent on finishing her. Satan, leave her!"

 

Thomas thought, "Or you'll have to deal with me."

 

Thomas was panicking and the cards stopped glowing for the moment, as his Strife Cards were resonating, and Thomas soon went and began crying on his sister saying almost hysterically, "I will finish you, I promise that, my sister is.........my blood, the only one I know of my blood. I will finish you if you try destroying my family....."

<There's no way you'll leave my service, Greed...you shall wallow in eternal darkness forever!>

Satan was right...the darkness was too much...she was being swallowed by it...Suddenly, Melissa saw a light in the darkness. It stood there in the darkness, a blinking light of pure good. Melissa reached her hand to it and suddenly, she could feel the light pulling on her...It was freeing her from the darkness...

Melissa Muro opened her eyes. Above her, she could see her brother, Thomas, crying. "Thomas?" Melissa murmured. "Thank you..."

The two halves of the Mask of Greed...

That boy was a challenge that he hated to leave, but this was almost irresistable. The chance to become two Sins. To wear the power of two seemed impossible. And THAT was where Gluttony would prove them wrong. He didn't feel prepared enough to wear them. There was something missing. He needed a Deck that was worthy of the identity of Greed. And he knew just how to get it, and exactly what it was...

"It might not be stopped forever, but at least for a while, we can talk. As long as you can supress the guy, then I can talk to you. But, for a while you will wallow in complete evil. I'll figure out a way to stop it, I'll figure it out. But, for now, where do you live? I bought an apartment in this building but I rarely come here."

 

Thomas thought, "One of the benefits of being son of a rich man, even though I hate my family."

Mark had watched the whole scene between Thomas and Melissa with a very wierd and confused expression on his face. Eventually finding his voice again, he made his presence known.

"...Erm...what's going on here?" Mark asked the two of them, frowning in confusion.

 

"...Man, talk about a wierd day..." Mark thoguht to himself, exasperated.

[Quiksilver]

"Okay, Thomas." Melissa smiled shakily. "Can you help me up? I'm feeling a little weak..."

"And as to your questions, I ran away because of the slimeball we call Father. He drove me past my limits. That day I gave you those cards, those Strife Warriors, was the last day I saw you. After that, I left.

Unfortunately, it was not the last I saw of Father. He came after me several weeks later, demanding and about to drag me back. I was so angry, I cursed that man, calling upon Satan. It was the worst mistake of my life." Melissa sighed. "For once Satan is called, he can take complete control. He destroyed our father, broke him on the inside, drove him insane. For some time, I was quite happy to be Greed, thinking that Satan had the power I needed to make this world anew, where there is no sadness, no pain... but know I see the truth of my actions. I see that I am doing more bad than good. Thank you, Thomas, brother, for helping me."

Melissa looked over and saw that boy, Mark Tennant, standing there. "I'm sorry for harming you too, Mark Tennant. Can you forgive me?"

Thomas helped his elder sister up and smiled as he said, "You did what you thought was right. I can't blame you. But, what I can blame you for isn't up to us. You are going to be possessed by Satan again, and when you are, you are going to get that mask back, with the Psychic powers you were endowed with. I just wish we could talk more."

 

Thomas soon damned Satan in his head as he said, "You got a car or motorbike sis? We have to get back to the shop, something ominous tells me that someone will try taking your powers."

 

Thomas' face dropped at the thought of losing his sister and said in his thoughts, "Heero will figure something out.......I hope."

Mark blinked slightly. He hadn't been expecting an apology at all...but he slowly nodded his head.

"...Erm...yeah, sure I guess...though you didnt actually even get round to hurting me so...yeah..." He then remembered about Gluttony.

"Hey! Where's that cowardly Guy Gluttony!? He ran out on a duel we were In, and I was about to win it!" Mark shouted angrilly, looking out of the window, but seeing nothing.

Melissa's face fell at the prospect of falling under Satan's control again, but she answered Thomas, "yeah, I got a car in the parking lot next door. We can take that back to our old house, where we can discuss what happened and what we're going to do." She turned to Mark and saw him looking out the window. "Hey, Mark," She called. "You want to come with us?"

Mark heard Melissa call to him and turned around...and nodded.

"...Yeah...I suppose the only way I'm gonna find that guy again Is If I stick with yout wo...so yeah, I'm with you two..." HE said, smiling, and following them out of the window.

 

I only hope I'm not making a Mistake...

Thomas smiled as he said, "We have to go, spend as much time as possible before Satan regains his hold, we should get to Starbucks and view the old house, our siblings should have moved out and usurped all of the money, except for my slice of the inheritance, I got my hands on it. What about yours?"

 

Thomas soon smiled at his sister as to almost say, "Everything will be alright."

 

Thomas grabbed the keys to the car, as he opened the door and cruised outside of the building.

"Nope." Melissa shook her head, following Thomas into the parking lot. "Didn't get anything after I drove Father insane... oh well..." Suddenly Melissa looked down and saw her deck. They seemed to have a malevolent aura. "Ugh. These cards have been tainted by Satan. I'll just put them in here-" She seized an old bag from the back of the black Corvette and placed them in it. "Okay. You both in? Lets go stop by Starbucks and see what happened to Heero."

Thomas walked inside of the car as he put the key in the ignition and started the car as he said in a sad tone, "Heero, for some reason I'm feeling depressed if I think of the duel he was dueling. For some reason, I'm getting some sort of telepathic link, it's strongest when my card glows."

 

Thomas said that as Mark got inside of the car and he revved the engine as he soon left the apartments, as he began driving to the Starbucks, he soon had to stop at a light and he said in a whisper, "Sis, why did you leave without me?"

IC:Melissa sighed and looked away. "I couldnt..." She said in a equal whisper. "I-I tried...But you were so young, you made some noise while I tried to sneak us out the house. Father, he appeared out of nowhere...He grabbed you and he, he looked so mad, I just- i just gave you the cards and ran. Just another of the many mistakes I made." Melissa looked at Thomas sadly, but then she looked determined. "I swear I'll make it up to you." She promised.

Thomas soon cried as the light turned to green and he began driving again and said, "I understand......but, I always thought it was because I was too much like the rest of our family. I actually tried being happy at the reunions, and you wouldn't try, so I would chill with you most of the time."

 

Thomas soon made it to Starbucks and put the car into park as he said, "I will finish Satan, and that I promise."

 

Thomas went to hug his sister as he soon began crying even more, Thomas chuckled, "When did I become such a wuss?"

Kura was walking trough the oh-so familiar streets , but he doesn't knew why it was familiar.....The only reason why he came to this city was to find and defeat the duellist Heero , Kura's secret Leader wanted him to , but Kura didn't knew why , Heero wasn't a well known duellist and he doesn't seems to be really strong , but well its the boss's orders . Kura looked around , where could he be? The leader only said the name of the city and gave a pic of Heero , but not adress or such things.... Kura sighted , and took his deck , " This deck may be a strong deck , but it isn't the best yet...I need to beat people to receive beter cards... "
