Tokyo Duel

Mark blinked as he saw Greed hurtling towards him, Nathalie, Britney and James.

"WHOA!!! ICOMING MANIAC!!!" MArk shouted, diving out of the way, pushing Nathalie and britney along with him, managing to avoid the Bike.

"...Jeez, she's a lunatic!...going on about Satan? Saying I serve her? trying to kill us!?...Oh boy..." IT was then Mark noticed one of his card's was glowing brightly. He picked it up, revealing it to be his VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon , which he hadnt been able to use in the duel against Greed due to being unable to draw W-Wing Catapult.

"...Eh? Why is my V-Z Card Glowing?...huh? dude, your card's glowing as well?" MArk said, seeing Thomas' glowing card.

Even Heero had to admit, that was a good move. "I'll end..." Heero was officially stuck in a corner. He had to think. How was he going to summon Shining Salvation without using some form of spell and trap cards. There was only one card in his deck that would allow him to do so...he had to draw it soon, otherwise it'd be to late. Despite this, Heero remained calm, for he believed in his deck, and his deck believed in him.

"Yeah," Thomas said, "Strife Warrior Blackstrike, my ace card, or at least in this primary deck. My strong deck is still being built, but when it is finished, I would be unstoppable. But, for some reason I think that I have to follow that woman, she said something about the Seven Deadly Sins, and I can't let anyone with evil thoughts go free."

Thomas soon raised his card as the glow soon turned the card into four cards, Strife Warrior Blackstrike, Strife Warrior Blackwing, Strife Warrior Solaris, and Strife Warrior Lune. The cards soon continued glowing as Thomas saw the tire marks on the road, and began following them, hopefully to meet the pretty, yet evil woman.

Greed stopped the bike in front of several run-down apartment buildings. Hurriedly hiding the bike in a unlocked storeroom, she changed clothes into a regular green t-shirt, a windbreaker, and some jeans. Hiding her mask and deck in the windbreaker, Greed stepped out of the store and walked a little way down the road, past all the run-down buildings until she got to several nicer ones. Pausing in front of a apartment building, Greed walked up the stairs and inside. "Oh, hello, Ms. Brood." The old apartment manager said, cheerfully standing up to shake her hand. Though she abhorred it, she put on a fake smile and shook his withered hand. "Hello," She said, then left and made her way up the stairs and to her apartment.

<Why you don't just leave this wretchedly good place, I don't know...>

It's just a cover, Satan. You know that. You need someone on the inside, someone who can talk to those followers of God without being noticed.

Stepping inside her apartment, she sat down on the couch and pulled out a slim laptop out from underneath her bed and turned it on. While it loaded, Greed tried thinking of a way she could get close to Heero. She smiled as she thought of several ways. A blinking light turned her attention to the screen, which now showed the exterior of the Starbucks she had just left. She wanted to watch the duel between Wrath and Heero. Lets see how good you are, Heero Tanaka...

"Hmmm...well this is my V-Z Dragon Catapult Cannon...It's not the Best Card in my deck, but it is 1 of the best...and it's probably the favourite card in this deck...though I do have other deck's as well...And wha? Your going after her?...man, rather you than me mate...just be careful alright? who know's what that woman is capable of..." MArk said, really not wanting to follow Thomas at all. HE then looked over at the girls.

"You two alright?" HE asked them, seeing as He had pushed them out of the way of Greed's Bike.

Thomas continued walking as he saw a woman walking inside of an apartment building in a windbreaker, Thomas said, "I've seen this place before, this is where I bought an apartment three years ago, but unfortunately, I haven't been here, or at least since I met Heero. Ever since then, we've been close friends."

Thomas said as he planted his butt on the front steps, "I'll check this place later, for now I want to chill."

Greed instantly sensed that boy, not Mark, the other one, was near. Placing a hand on her deck, she moved forward and looked out the window. Yep, sitting on the steps.

<He must know you're here Greed...you must not blow your cover!>

Greed snorted, thinking of the conversation she had had with Satan a couple of minutes ago. Still, she grabbed her deck and mask and left the building. Quickly striding through the building, she reached the boy and said, "LEAVE BOY. LEAVE!" She summoned the spirit of Phantom Beast Mistvalley-Dragon to her side, launching it in a attack straight at Thomas!

OOC: He doesn't know, he couldn't study her face in detail, she wore that mask, remember, plus he was losing the trail, I'm including that now.

IC:

Thomas lost the trail of the woman and soon began pondering how such a group could come about and be causing sadness everywhere as he was jolted to his senses.

Thomas saw the spirit of the monster and said, "Lady, watch out there is a monster there!"

Thomas soon jumped away not knowing what the monster was and ran inside the building as he ran upstairs to his abandoned room, Thomas saw that it wasn't that dirty, only dusty, and after dusting the couch off, he sat down and thought about everything that was happening and said, "Heero, I hope you're not in too much trouble."

Wrath acted calm. He could see on Heero's expresion that he had just stopped him from doing something critical. However, he had also hindered his own Spell and Trap usage.

"Draw." He looked at the one card in his hand and smiled. "I activate the Continuous Spell card Banished. This let's me avoid The Black Apple's effect while you are still affected."

A Spell card appeared on the field, showing to people walking out of what seemed to be a paradise.

"I End my turn."

OoC: What is your Angel's ATK? Also, if you hadn't figured it out, The Black Apple is based on the forbidden fruit while Banished is based on Adam and Eve being banished from Eden. I'm not a very religious person, but I like making refferences to this kind of stuff ;D

OoC: I know. Thats just Greed being paranoid, like I said in my description.

IC: Greed watched as the boy ran up into her apartment building, narrowly avoiding her Dragon. He seemed to have not recognized her. Maybe I should just leave before he does realize who I am, Greed thought.

<Or you could take control of him and use him as a spy...>

Greed smiled and raised her Duel Disk. She liked Satan's idea much better. She walked into the building, intent on hunting the boy down. This time, God won't be able to stop me!

OoC: 1800

IC: "This isn't good...at all..." Heero thought. "If I don't draw Divine Strategy...this could be all over..." Heero closed his eyes as he drew his card. "Wrath. This will end you. I activate the Spell Card Divine Tactics, which, if the correct monsters for Synchro Summon are in my Graveyard, I can Synchro Summon it. And, if this card were to be negated by a card effect, I can simply negate it by discarding 1 "Divine" card in my hand. So, I will discard Divine Sanctuary to negate the negation of my Divine Tactics!"

OoC: The Black Apple only negates the activation of Spell and Trap cards that is activated after the first Spell or Trap card you activate. So, you can activate 1 Spell or Trap card per turn, the rest will be negated.

Wrath remained calm. He remembered how the card that was about to be summoned had defeated that black-haired boy so easily, and how it was unaffected by Trap cards.

Yes. I found a loophole in that cards effect, you see...

Don't worry, if it doesn't work, this is still only a test duel. So if it doesn't work I still have time to figure out that cards weakness.

OoC: That would mean "No response"

OoC: Really? Hmm...I'm trying to figure out a way to prevent taking damage without the Black Apple negating it xD

"Now, I remove my Shine and Salvation to bring out Shining Salvation! I select all of my monsters, giving it a 560 ATK boost! Go forth, attack with Infinite Light Burst!" Heero smirked. This would end him, and with his face down card, ready and prepared, it would be game. "My facedown will save me, the one I had played from turn one...hopefully..."

"Figured that one out. No, Heero. I can't let you do that. You do know dark Core's effect, right?" Wrath had an emotionless face. "When it's being attacked, I can send three specific cards from my deck to the grave to negate the attack. Also, this will place three Sacred Beast counters on Dark Core, and as long as there's a Counter on it, it negates any attacks targeting it. However, each time this effect is activated a counter is removed."

Looks like he didn't think about that...

Thomas heard footsteps on his floor, seeming to be coming toward his room. Thomas was scared again as his deck suddenly began glowing, Thomas soon got angry he punched a wall and broke it.

"What is it with the cards and glowing!" Thomas exclaimed as he adjusted his headphones and prepared his full deck, and he began examining his deck in preparation for the duels that he felt were ahead.

"Hello Thomas." Greed said. "Or should I say one of the Chosen? Yes, I know all about that glowing card. Or should I say, we know about it...but time to get to business. Duel me, Thomas, or risk losing your soul... muhahah..."

<Very creepy, Greed. I like it.>

Of course you do Satan...

Thomas laughed a laugh which was out of his character as the duel started, Thomas said, "I'll draw."

A smile slowly curled up Thomas's face as he started the duel out, and he said, "I'll put the field card Strife Warrior Haven, onto the field. Next, I'll put down two facedowns, and I'll put down a monster in set mode."

Thomas soon activated the card Strife Warrior Haven, and smiled as he began dueling a master duelist as he whispered, "I'll finish you."

"Really now? Well...being as I'm cardless, I'll have to end." Heero sighed. That was one of his decks flaws; it normally left him cardless, which is a problem for most duelists. Despite that fact, he woulnd't give up. This was FAR from over. In fact, it was only beginning. Heero knew when Wrath challegned him, it was the dawning of a new era of survival for man kind...

Thomas smiled as he picked up his next card and he said, "Don't play, go full force."

Something seemed to change in him when he dueled, maybe it was that fighting spirit that his family had, but suddenly he played dueling in a almost poetic way.

"I discard one card from my hand, and due to Strife Warrior Haven's effect, I can special summon one level four or lower Strife Warrior, and I summon one Strife Warrior Blackwing, and I summon Strife Warrior Solaris onto the field, his effect adds one Strife Warrior Lune to my hand. I Synchro Summon Strife Warrior Black Strike. I now use his effect to bring Strife Warrior Solaris back to my hand, in exchange for 500 life points. I now attack, and if I discard two cards in my hand, and add 100 life points, then the attack cannot be negated."

That was Thomas's problem, Thomas's deck always revolved on sacrificing life points to get a desired result.

OoC: How many attack points does your Black Strike have?

"Poor little Thomas. I'm not negating your attack; I'm going to make your attack instead add to my Life Points! I activate Phantom Pain, which allows me to gain Life Points equal to your Monsters attack! I'll take your Solaris's attack, since I'll still end up with more Life Points than before!" Greed laughed. "Is it my turn yet?"

OOC: BlackStrike's is 2400, for now. Solaris's is 1200.

IC:

"Who said I was finished, I attack with Blackstrike! Now, I use the card, Strife for Strife. This card allows me to discard one card from my hand and then I could negate the effect of one card of yours, and I negate that Phantom Pain, but I lose 300 life points, as I do this. End turn, as I place two face downs."

Field- Blackstrike, Solaris

Magic/Trap Slots- 3 face downs

"My turn then... Draw!" Wrath drew a card and looked at it. "I see..."

He flipped one of his face-downs face-up. "Card Illusion. This card let's me select 1 card in my Graveyard and add it to my hand, however, if it's activated I take 500 points of damage, and my entire hand is sent to the Graveyard."

He pulled out his Graveyard and picked out a Spell Card.

"This card is Allure of Darkness, it was discarded due to Mad Dust Fiend's effect earlier. I'll activate it." He didn't seem to take notice from losing 500 life points. He drawed to cards, then selected one of them and placed it in his pocket. "I Tribute Dark Core to summon Dark Summoning Beast."

The weird fiend disappeared, and was instead replaced by a more terrifying monster.

"I'll activate it's effect." The new monster did also start to fade away. "I can Tribute it to Summon the three Sacred Beasts from my Graveyard!"

OoC: DUN DUN DUN!

Three majestic creatures arose from the ground. One of them looked like a long, red snake dragon. The second one was yellow, and had a skelletal body with villainous looking wings, while the third, and largest, was blue, muscular and was the one who looked the most like a demon.

"I activate Uria's effect, destroying your face-down." Wrath still ahd the emotionless face. "I now activate another one of my face-downs. Escape from the Dark Dimension."

Another one of Wrath's traps was flipped face-up. Suddenly, a black hole was opened and out of it jumped a small, ugly and scary thing. "This is the thing I removed from play due to Allure of Darkness' effect. It's called a Hellfire Swarmfiend. When it is Special Summoned from the RFG zone, I can Special Summon an Hellfire Swarm Token."

This was when Wrath's face turned into the maniac's grin that had been present earlier.

"This is the end. I tribute Raviel, Hellfire Swarmfiend and the token to summon it..."

Raviel absorbed the two Hellfire Swarmfiends and suddenly started changing appearance. His horns grew larger, his tail got longer, his armor was trimmed with black color and his eyes started emitting blood red gas.

"I have transformed Raviel into the Ultimate Lord of Vengeful Spectres! (4000/4000) I activate his effect, tributing a monster I control to increase it's attack by that monster's attack. I'll tribute Hamon."

Raviel grabbed Hamon's neck, and Hamon was absorbed into Raviel's hand.

(ATK Increase: 4000-->8000)

"Raviel, attack his angel..."

OoC: That would kill you, and my remaining face-down is Solemn Judgment. This is good, however. Since this duel wasn't serious, this will only strengthen Heero's desire to defeat Wrath.

"Hmmm...that Thomas guy sure is Taking his time to get back here...I hope nothing happened to him...I think i'd better go see where he is...be right back girls!" MArk said to Nathalie and Britney, before rushing out of the Coffee shop, and following the direction Thomas had gone, hoping that nothing bad had happened to him.

"...Only question is, which way did he go?" Mark asked, but then he felt his card glow again, and it wasnt just V-Z, his Chimeratech Overdragon Card was glowing too...and they seemed to be guiding him towards the place where Thomas and Greed were dueling.

"...Man, this is madness!" MArk said, as he felt himself being pulled along by the cards.

IC: "Not so fast! I discard my Phantom Beast Slipgrass-Salamander to negate Strife for Strife. Now, its my turn. I play Graceful Charity so I know have three cards. Then, since I discarded Phantom Beast Tree-Bear, I can Special Summon my Moss-Serpent, which allows me to special summon "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" and "Phantom Beast Moonlight Panther"! Now I sacrife Moss-Serpent to Summon Phantom Beast Rock-Lizard! Rock Lizard has 2500 ATK, allowing me to destroy your Black Strike, my Moonlight Panther your Solaris, and my Gazelle your Life Points!"

Monsters- Phantoms Beasts- Moonlight Panther and Rock-Lizard, Gazelle

Spells/Traps- 2 Face-down.
