"Right!" Roran looked around the clear area, and realized that he could didn't have much of an option of where to teleport them. "I don't know where to go to, and if the mass teleportation will work with the two of us Zac, but we will have to think of the same place, otherwise we will be split. Where should we focus on? We want to go ahead, but we don't have an area up ahead to teleport to." Roran finished his statement, and noticed how odd it sounded. "I say we go back a little, but we have to do it quickly!" Let's hope this works...

Kyker and Zac effectively managed to get out of the stun spore's range however that didn't accomplish much. The other four were still very much being exposed to it and needed help quickly. Roran prepared to teleport the group amidst the stun spore. At this moment a strong wind came that blew the stun spore away but it also knocked everyone in the group off balance. At that moment the group looked up to see a flurry of razor leafs coming at them. It wasn't just a few, the leaves were literally so thick and numerous that they were obscuring the group's view of the valley ahead.

At this moment a teleport was still looking like the best option the group had. As the storm of leaves came closer the group noticed a large group of grass-types on the ridges of the valley pass. Someone had clearly been expecting them. The grass-types were now pouring into the pass itself to continue attacking the group should they survive the razor leaf storm successfully. The leaves approached quickly and the group had little time to react. The wind gone the fog and some stun spore was quickly closing in on them again leaving visibility only clear in a small circular area immediately around the group.

"I have to focus! Teleporting takes quite a bit of concentration. These leaves are making it hard enough, but the fog is closing in again, soon we won't be able to see where the attacks are coming from. I am going to take us back to a safe spot. About where we met the Sandshrew. That area should be safer then here." Roran sank down to where he could sit and concentrate, but he knew that time was running out. "I hope this works. Please, keep me safe from those attacks. If I get hit too much I won't be able to get us out of here."

Zac had made it to a clean area, but the others were back there. 'Come on man, I have to think. The amount of stun spore there, there would be an immense amount of grass types to fill the fog. There must be something else I can do' he thought desperataly, before looking at his own fog. 'That would be quite a stretch,b ut if I use it, I might be able to reach Roran and help him visualize my location' he thought and grunted with effort. His own purple fog began extending out into the fog, dying it lightly purple. It began reaching out back towards the others. The purple fog pushed away the remaining stun spore, leaving the area an odd purple colour. 'Please let this work' he moaned, the strain of spreading himself so thin was...excruciating.

Just as Zac and Roran got to work the leaves came right in range of the group. In addition a new storm of attacks was coming in. A rain of bullet seeds and a blitz of petal dances were coming in. The situation looked really bad. None of them other than Kyker were familiar enough with their moves to do something that could stop the flurry of attacks and Kyker's attacks weren't exactly suited for the job.

At that moment a large dark fire erupted outward into the group. This flame engulfed the attacks, all three, the fog, the stun spore, and it even seemed to attack the grass-types. The flames were massive. The members of the group more knowledgeable about pokemon recognized it as the move will-o-wisp however this one was far larger than they had expected. As the flames finally receded the horde of grass-types were running away as fast as they could. All of the stun spore in the air was gone and all the fog behind them had burned off. There was still a light fog in front. In the fog they saw a figure. It looked to be, as far as they could tell, a Vulpix. They saw the fan of tails and the Vulpix's head was turned back as if it was looking at them. As it turned its head forward the group could have sworn they saw a necklace about its neck. The figure ran off into the mist and became completely obscured from view. The same thought passed through everyone's head at once: That could have been Nadia.

His time was up and Zac thudded to the gbottom of the tree, only stopping himself from going further into the ground; small swirls became his eyes as his energy and purple mist were expended. 'I think I'll rest here for a bit, then I'll go make cookies with gandma Dunsparce and fly to the moon' he moaned as mild insanity seeped in to replace lack of energy; his voice was made inaudible by the tree. 'Fortune cookie fortune cookie, what is my fortune today?' he sung.

"W-What was that about?" Kyker coughed, still recovering from the tiny dose of stun spore she had breathed in. She was still too woozy to do anything productive, and forcefully told herself to sit and wait. She was sure, though, that even if she wasn't in this weak state, she still wouldn't have been able to deflect all the attacks. Right now though, she was relieved everyone was safe and unhurt. "Thank Arceus you're alright; I don't know what'd happen if you ... weren't ..." A series of frantic coughing followed, which further helped clear the stun spore clogged in Kyker's lungs.

OOC: Thank Arceus = Thank God, incase you didn't get the reference

Jason blinked, and ran over to Kyker. Luckily enough, he had managed to hold his breath long enough to keep the stun spores out of his system. Now, he wondered if there was anything he could do to help Kyker. "I-is there anything I can d-do to help you with the stun sp-spores, Kyker?" I wonder if Sand Attack, or something else I might know, might be able to help her...I just feel so useless right now. I hardly did anything against the spores, and so far, I've only been a good pack mule. Jason's eyes gleamed as they began to tear up. He blinked, trying to hide his tears.

"Okay, almost ready. Kyker, Jason come. I don't know if I'll be able to get you all away at once, and Zac has dissappeared. If I can't, I'll be right back." With these last words Roran grew silent and focused on nothing but his destination. This must work. With a flash, Roran had suceeded, but he wouldn't know for a while, he had fallen asleep once at their destination, the spot where they met the Sandshrew. However, he did stay awake long enough to say, "Did we all make it?" The ring Jirachi had given him didn't seem to be able to keep him awake if all his energy was used.

Saul blinked after he had landed from Roran's teleport. He knew he had seen Nadia, and that he had to go after her. "Why... why did you choose to warp THEN?!" Saul said calmly, but with clear underlying anger. "That was Nadia, I'm sure of it!" HE began to fly back in the direction they had come, not thinking clearly because of what had happened. All he could think was " He was hurrying off, blind and deaf to the surronding world. He had forgotten all about the Stun Spore in his sense of drive.

Roran was quite tired, but woke up enough to answer Saul. "You know, if I teleport then I would have lost my focus, had to regain it, but by then it would have been to late. We would have all succombed to the Stun Spore. Then, I have no doubt, we would have been dragged off to Ho-oh. Nauda was there, but we couldn't do anything. She wouldn't believe us if we told her what we were told unless Ho-oh is nowhere near as powerful as we were told. Which I do doubt." With this Roran fell down, and with a grunt continued. "He's gone. He is going to charge right back into the Stun Spore, get caught, and who knows what may happen after that?"

The rest of the group stumbled together as Saul raced off. They'd barely gotten out of that situation and several still had stun spore in their system. The group sort of gathered together around the very disoriented Zac, and Roran who was quite tired. They all knew they had to get after Saul but they all needed some time to rest. They just had to hope Saul wouldn't get into too much trouble while he was gone as it would be a bit before they'd be coming for him.

--------

Nadia came back to meet with the Sandslash that had accompanied her. The "attackers" successfully driven off, she was certain her friends would be coming after her now. As she continued the Sandslash came up out of the ground.

"So how did it go Nadia?" the Sandslash asked her. It was clear in his voice that he wasn't concerned with whether Nadia performed well but rather that the task was accomplished.

"Fine. The grass-types followed all their orders perfectly and I'm sure they'll be coming after me now." Nadia replied. She had a real passion in her voice. It was obvious this meant a lot to her.

"So now we begin stage two of the plan correct?" he said.

"That's right." Nadia said. With that the Sandslash took hold of Nadia with one hand and held her in the air. He positioned the other as if he was about to strike her.

--------

A few minutes had passed and as Saul raced on the fog was still very light. The stun spore had all disappeared, which was odd considering how much of it there was earlier. The only thought driving him was to get to Nadia who he was certain he'd seen in the fog. Suddenly on his way he froze for a second as he heard a scream. It sounded like a girl's. He wasted no time and continued on in the direction of Nadia, and the scream. As he continued he saw two figures in the fog. He couldn't see exactly what they were as they were still covered in shadows but he could make out the same Vulpix figure. He could tell the scream was coming from that Vulpix and that the other figure must have been attacking it.

Jason sat slightly apart from the others in the group. His recent thoughts had had a depressing toll on him, and he hoped that none of his friends would notice him. I really am useless. I didn't do anything at all to help my friends get rid of the stun spores...nothing that worked anyway. I didn't do anything against those Grass-Types that attacked us, I didn't do anything when that wall of fire appeared. Maybe I should just go off on my own. They'd probably be better off if I did anyway.

Saul heard the scream, and reacted before thinking, shooting a Tri-Attack at the figure holding the screaming Pokemon. He was already preparing a Shadow Ball just in case it was a Ghost type, and fired that right behind the Triangular elemental attack. e charged forward into the fog, screaming "NADIA!". He had taken a dangerous road, playing the role of the sole hero. A Foolish path in deed, unusual for Saul, a usually calm person/Pokemon. "I'm coming!" His cry came again, before preparing another attack.

"Saul, you aren't yourself! Don't run right into trouble." As Roran chased after Saul as fist as he could, he decided to stay back some. If I stay here, I can stop attacks with Confusion "Guys, I'll be right here. I hope that my idea works." At once, Roran set to work. He tried a Hypnosis, avoiding Saul, hoping to hit the target, and make it easier for Saul to attack. "Saul, be careful." Roran looked around the area, and noticed that Zac didn't appear to be around. Great, we lost another friend all ready. Saul, I hope you know what you are doing.

As Saul charged into the mist the two figures came into clear view. One was definitely a Vulpix though he couldn't see the necklace about the neck at the moment. The attacker was a Sandslash which might have been suspicious had Saul not been caught up in rescuing what he thought was Nadia. The attacker looked straight at him and the tri-attack as it came in almost like he'd expected something from that direction. He very casually threw the Vulpix into the tri-attack and stepped to the side. The attack connected and slammed the Vulpix into the side of the valley, if it had a necklace on, Saul wouldn't know as it and the Vulpix's face wasn't visible.

"What do we have here? A lone Porygon? I must say this is a bit odd. Care to tell me why you would get in between mine and that Vulpix's fight considering it has nothing to do with an abomination like you. Whatever was going on between me and her has nothing to do with you!" the Sandslash said. He turned to meet Saul but in the still present fog didn't notice the charging shadow ball. The Sandslash all at once dashed at Saul, his claws at the ready.

"Fury Swipes!" he called as he charged.

Jason shook himself. What am I thinking? Of course I'm needed. Maybe not for the reasons I would think...but I know I am. Jason suddenly realized that Saul was missing from the small group. He leapt up, and ran back into the fog. He perked his Eevee ears, listening and trying to figure out where he was. Hearing noises, Jason followed his ears, running through the mist, trying to locate Saul. "Saul!" he cried out. "Where are you?!" Come on...come on! I need to find him, and make sure he's okay. I just have this feeling that something is wrong with him...Where is he?! Jason spun around frantically, before figuring out he had to calm down. He took deep breaths, and listened carefully.

Saul's eyes flashed as he used his attack. "Conversion! Shadow Ball!" His body changed some as soon as he said it, most noticeable was he seemedd to be a little translucent now. You could see through him, but he was still there. When the slashes would hit him, he would be gone. He began to shoot another Shadow Ball, much more powerful now, one at each of the incoming Sandslash. Then he spoke. "Who are you calling abomination? You're the gang attacking a Vulpix." With that, he Shot yet another Shadow Ball at the Leader.

[spoiler=Ooc, not important just something to say Black]

It's one Sandslash, not multiple just so you know. That's all.

IC:

The Sandslash carried through with the attack but made no actual contact with Saul. It was odd yet somehow it didn't seem to disturb him all that much. He seemed like more than a common thug. He seemed precisely trained. Though as he carried through with the attack he was in no position to dodge the shadow ball. As such it hit and carried him a few feet. A distinct bruise had already appeared at the direct point of contact.

"My fight is my business. You, the freak creation of data not flesh, are truly the abomination here! I don't have time to waste on you, Stone Edge!" he called. As he did so he swiped one claw down. A stream of sharpened stones came out of the valley wall and made their way to Saul. Saul knew this move had a high critical hit rate in the games so he also knew he didn't want to get hit by this.

Saul's eyes glowed again, this time red, where last time was blue. "Conversion 2! Stone Edge!" As soon as he said it, his body began to look more muscular, and stronger. He looked smoother than before, and he was a FIGHTING Type. He stood his ground against the stones, and shot a Tri-Atack in the direction of the Sandslash. Then he continued, "I'm not an abomination, while I may be false. Am I a Homunculi? NO, I'm a new species in and of myself. ON the other hand, you're a common thug with no hope ahead. What, gonna pick-pocket your way through life?" He asked, shooting another Tri-attack.

Jason could hear distant sounds of fighting in the distance, and picked up his pace. Saul...whatever you're doing, you better be safe. I've already lost Nadia to some freak Pokemon. I don't want to lose another friend. The thought of that just... Jason shook his head, not willing to accept that thought. He picked up his pace more, until he was running through the fog, trying to figure out where Saul had gotten to, and what he was doing. Damn this fog; I don't know if I'm going in circles, or if I'm actually getting closer. I wish I was something that was more suited for something like this.

The Sandslash was really getting angry now. Now he could easily thrash Saul at the moment. He was a high-ranking officer if Ho-oh's forces. But he couldn't go showing that now. So while he really wanted to get Saul he had to get of here somewhere and let the plan continue. He took the first tri-attack though he made it seem that he couldn't avoid it. Just as he got up the second connected and the Sandslash hit the passes wall with a lot of force.

"This little hot-shot thinks he's all that. Oh how I wish I could kill him here. But plans are plans. I have to leave this to the girl." he thought. With that he quickly dug into the ground and ran away. He stayed close to the surface so Saul could see that he was clearly fleeing. The Sandslash gone, Saul was now free to check on the Vulpix who had been attacked by the Sandslash. He was dead certain it was Nadia and the fact that she took a tri-attack and slammed into the nearby wall had him worried.

As Roran continued he noticed a shape up ahead. It was small and it appeared to be an Eevee. It had to be Jason, and it was. He heard Jason calling out and knew it was him. Jason himself was now able to see Saul's basic outline and was going to rush off when he heard Roran call out to him.

Jason saw Saul in the distance, and was about to run over, when he heard a voice calling his name. He spun around, trying to figure out whose voice it was, and where it was coming from. But, thanks to the fog, the sound reverberated, and sounded like it was coming from all directions at once. Jason sighed, and sat down in his spot. Okay, calm down Jason...I can figure out where they are...I just have to be quiet, patient, and listen. If I can do these things, I'm sure I'll be able to find them. Jason closed his eyes, scrunched them shut, and concentrated as hard as he could on listening.

'On the good ship, lollipop; it's a sweet trip to the candy shop where bonbons play, on the sunny beach of peppermint bay' Zac sang, his voice still muffled by the tree. His energy was slowly returning and slight amounts of purple fog were beginning to reappear. 'Lollipop lollipop oh lolli lolli lolli lolli lollipop lollipop lollipop oh lolli lolli lolli lolli lollipop lollipop lollipop oh lolli lolli lolli lolli lollipop lollipop lollipop oh lolli lolli lolli lolli lollipop lollipop lollipop oh' he continued singing, reapetitively.

Saul stared after the fleeing Sandslash, but that did not set right with him. He decided he was just anxious, and shrugged it off. His eyes glowed blue for a moment. "Conversion, Tri-Attack." His body returned to it's Polygonal shape. Then he headed towards the Vulpix. "Are you alright?!" He asked, almost adding 'Nadia' at the end, but he did not want to embarass himself. HE went over to the fallen Vulpix, and tried to pick her up as best he could with his armless and sharp body. Then he saw the necklace, and cried out "NADIA!" He'd found her.
