"I agree with Jordan. Nadia isn't dead, well, I doubt she is. To me, it seems to make sense that Ho-oh would want to get all of us. We have been friends so long, and I refuse to believe that she has been killed. If you believe the Hypnosis plan could work, then I'm all for it. And if it truly comes to it, we may have to end Ho-oh. It's a dark idea, but it may be one we have to follow..." I hope it won't come to that. It's a dispicable thought... "So, what shall we hear of next? I'm hoping to hear more about Ho-oh, and what drove him to this state of mind." Roran moved a slight bit to the left, and looked at Jordan. She didn't sound so confident earlier. This is good, we need all of the confidence we can get right now.

"I know the possibilities aren't nice to think about and I don't have time to speculate too much on all these points. But in order let me quickly say that hypnosis won't fix the problem. It's not that her mind would be controlled it's that she would be made to accept the ideas as completely true and even Ho-oh would have issues getting rid of it with more hypnosis. Next, ghost types aren't dead. I'd explain it but that would be quite complicated. Essentially most of them have no real physical form yet they can interact with physical things. They aren't dead and history has one or two counts of a ghost type being killed. And that's exactly correct Jordan, you just need to get out there yourselves. Us speculating here won't do anything." Jirachi said gasping for breath a bit at the end.

"Now then I need to explain somewhat about the jewels. I can't be sure but I'm fairly certain that those are fragments of the Soul Dew which shattered about five years ago. If you didn't know the Soul Dew was a precious gem that Latios and Latias created and guarded. What's odd is that it shattered and disappeared on the same day Ho-oh first attacked a village. Now if these gems are really the lost fragments of the Soul Dew then it's critically important you get them to Latios and Latias. There's a chance they just might be able to purify Ho-oh. That would also explain why Ho-oh was so fast to attempt to capture even one of you. The Soul Dew would need all the fragments in order to reform. Again, I can't be sure but I can't see what else these jewels would be." Jirachi said.

"Now then. I should continue to tell you about the legend that inspired me to call upon you. About five hundred years ago there was a very wise and very old Alakazam who lived mostly in solitude. The records say he would only appear in town about once every other month in order to tell the pokemon of his visions. Around that time he was very ill and near the end of his life and it was at that moment that he had the most vivid vision he had ever seen. He foresaw a great destruction and gave a way to stop it. Here are his exact words." Jirachi said. At this he used his psychic powers casually to bring a book to his hand.

"Heed my words, those in this world of light.

One half of the next millennium shall pass away peacefully.

But in the second half there comes a great and dreadful darkness.

The brightest gem shall shatter in six.

The resplendence of the great light shall fall corrupted.

The skies shall fill with the ancient language.

The elements shall ravage the villages like beasts.

Left alone this world shall fall into perpetuated chaos.

Countless will die and none shall know of things such as peace and joy.

But I see that all is not lost.

At this dreadful time, let he with the power of the stars send forth his might.

On the full moon of the sixth month the worlds shall connect.

The stars shall bring six travelers bearing the fragments of the brightest gem.

The six shall restore peace should their resolves remain unwavering.

The brightest gem shall be restored, the great light return.

Stay always vigilant for the day the great light falls from grace.

Once the time is right follow this council and the world shall remain peaceful.

I leave this, my final message with you, now go in peace and always remember." Jirachi read aloud.

"This is the message he gave and my family has remained the watchers for this time ever since. The brightest gem is no doubt the Soul Dew I told you something about. The great light is no doubt Ho-oh. The skies filled with the ancient language no doubt refers to the Unknown. The elements like beasts represent the three legendary beasts. I would be the one with the power of the stars. I used my meteor attack on the full moon and it seemed it brought you, the six travelers to this world. So that's the legend. It was foreseen that you would be brought to this world and that you would be the ones to save it. Now then, before I finish giving all the info please allow me a quick break. Ever since I used my power to bring you here I've been quite tired and I need a moment to rest, not to mention finish preparations to help Saul." Jirachi said. Saul remained quiet. It seemed he was saving energy, as if simple talking was difficult. Jirachi went into the other room for a few minutes.

There was something bothering Zac about Jirachi's speech, something that wasn't quite right. The realization hit him dead on. 'Something was bugging me, now I know what it was. He was pronouncing the Unown as the actual word unknown, which is very silly' he commented, blissfully ignoring the impact Jirachi was trying to make. 'Still, poor Saul, it must be immensely difficult being a Porygon, the only man-made pokemon. Maybe if a computer was in this world, we could download him into it. But I don't think any of us brought a laptop to the camp, unless for secretly looking at porn' he added.

"I thought about bringing mine, for listening to music while resting... I fogot why I didn't do it now, maybe because it didn't seem to make sense to bring it. I noticed how he pronouncing Unknown as well. Either our world got the name wrong, or there is something completely different for us to worry about here." Roran slightly paused as he had to catch his breath. "Still tired... Anyway, Saul... He will... be fine... someday... We just... need to help... him... however we can... now..." After Roran pronounced the last syllable of the sentence, he passed out. He just didn't have the energy needed to stay awake.

.... heh, way to read way too deeply into an error on my part guys. I just realized that it's Unown but you all think it's significant. Well, you've given me ideas so it shall be significant now! lol

IC:

Jirachi came back out of the other room after a few minutes. He seemed happy about something and was holding something in his hand.

"Well the preparations are complete. Soon Saul will be able to move freely! Oh, I have something for Roran who I notice is just now asleep. Here!" he said as he held out a ring with a small jewel attached.

"This ring is special. The jewel is actually glass filled with awakening potion. However this ring can react mentally with psychic pokemon. Meaning that Roran will be able to stay awake and the amount of awakening potion itself won't ever go down. I knew I had one around somewhere I just wasn't sure where." Jirachi said. With that he put the ring onto one of Roran's fingers.

"Well that should wake him up soon enough, granted he wants to wake up. So now there's really only two things left to talk about. Information about Ho-oh and what you should do next. So as we know Ho-oh has been corrupted and the deep links between him and the three beasts has corrupted them as well. We also know a swarm of Unknown are now under his command and the other thing we know is that this all happened on the day the Soul Dew shattered. Now we can't be sure why it happened or who might have caused it. We just know that Ho-oh intends to enslave the world and as things stand is in a good position to do it." Jirachi said.

"Now as for what you should do next. There is a city a bit of a ways to the north of here. This city has turned into the base of the Silver Resistance. That's where you need to get off to. Lugia will be much more sure of some details and with Latios and Latias being there you might find out what has to be done with those jewels. I'd suggest you leave today. Now Saul will have to stay behind so I can help treat him. But don't worry, I won't send the four of you off by yourself. I requested some special help from the police force and you'll have a powerful friend accompany you to the city. I'm not sure when she'll get here but she never disappoints." Jirachi said happily.

"Now then, if there aren't any questions I'll get started with Saul and the rest of you can prepare to go. Of course any questions you have I'll be sure to answer." Jirachi said.

Outside of the house, a huge trail of dust and grass alike was being kicked up, the source of which was lost within this blazing storm. Pokemon were leaping out of the way, afraid to be caught within it. Normally, such a storm would not have been caused by the Pokemon responsible; however, having recieved Jirachi's message, it was vital for them to use as much speed as possible, considering the enormity of the task on hand.

The storm shot through the city faster than an arrow, and came to a terrifying halt at the house so closely made, they almost bulldozed through the wall. For the next half a minute or so, the house was enveloped in a huge cloud of dust. When it died down though, whoever was inside could hear a Pokemon attempting to open the door.

"Ah, these damn doors," said a female voice shirtily, clearly having no patience for doors. "Whoever's behind the door, stand back!" Without warning, a portracted, "Ha!" was bellowed, followed by what sounded like three seperate kicks, followed rather timely by three sounds of the door being smashed into pieces. It was doubtless that a fighting Pokemon was on the other side of the door, and considering how it was likely that a Triple Kick had just been used, the only possible Pokemon that could have just done it was -

"Hi guys!" said the Hitmontop as she came spinning into the room, before temporarily doing an acrobatic flip onto her feet, and then back onto her head again. "I'm Kyker, and Jirachi, sorry about the door, but you know what I'm like with doors." As she spoke, she was very gently spinning on her head whilst punching the air like she was facing some kind of enemy.

Jason stared at the Hitmontop spinning around. He was quite surprised when she burst through the door, and had yelped in surprise. Now, he looked around timidly, seeing if any of the others noticed...or cared. Who is she?...Is she the police force that will be escorting us to the city to the North?...I wonder... Jason decided that he would be friendly, and introduce himself. His eyes wandered around, but inevitably ended up locking with her eyes. "H-hello," he said. "I-I'm Jason..."

The ring Jirachi had slipped onto Roran was finally starting to take affect, and Roran's drowsiness was gone. "Huh?... Oh, I'm awake agian." Roran looked around the room, and the first thing he noticed was that the door was busted in half. As he looked around some more, he finally noticed the Hitmontop spinning not far from Jason. I guess this is our escort to the north. "Hello, how are you? I am Roran... Where did this come from? I have never seen this strange ring... Jason, care to give me a little info?"

Jason nodded. "Right...That ring was given to you by Jirachi. I don't know exactly how it works, but Jirachi said that it has a special property that links it to psychic Pokemon...or something like that. It's a special...what'd he call it?...Awakening ring. The jewel does...something...that keeps you awake...Roran, if you were asleep, how did you know that we are going to the North? Unless it's part of your freaky psychic powers." Man, Roran sure is cool if he can do that. Then, he wouldn't even need to be awake, except for fights....and, travel of course.

"I'm not sure... It's kind of as if I tune in at times, but not long after it's back to sleep." Roran looked a little bit towards Jason now. "I don't really understand it much, but I can deal with it." Roran stood up and walked a little bit. "Wow, I'm not tired now. This ring works like a charm. It must be inceadeably vaulable. This isn't something I can afford to lose... Anyway, Kyker, how are you? It's a pleasure to meet somebody new." I want to get on her good side, who knows where we may need her...

Zac was bewildered as Kyker took down the door, but he composed himself. 'A fighting type? Typical that we'd get help by one, they're all muscle, no brain. Which is fine, considering our team is completely based on special offence Pokemon, we really would need a physical type, considering I can't hit those pesky normal types, lousy rattatas, I'll get my revenge yet on you twitchy little bastards' he thought darkly. 'Pleased to me you, Kyker' he said brittlely.

Kyker gave no sign of recognition that she had just startled a few of them; instead, she said to them, "Nice to meet you all. And for your information, next time there's a door, someone open it for me - I can't reach the door handles. We never had doors in our home anyway." She coughed. "Anyway, Jirachi has asked me to escort you safely, so come on, what are we waiting for?" She stole a quick glance at Jirachi, and coughed again. "Unless ... you still need to ask Jirachi a few things."

When she spoke her last sentence, she sounded irritated, as if she had no more patience left. When she finished talking, she did another quick flip onto her feet, and then back onto her head, before resuming her slow spin, and pretend punching, though this time she occasionally added a kick.

"No, no. Thank you for coming Kyker." Jirachi said. As he did he moved over to a table with a writing utensil and paper. Quickly he began to write, "Note to self: Keep doors open when expecting Kyker." only to see that he'd written it several times before. With a small sigh he turned to the rest of the group.

"Well as I, and Kyker herself, have said Kyker is your escort to the Silver Resistance base. She knows the way and already knows what I've told you all so don't feel like you need to fill her in. Though just so you know you'll be headed north, through a large desert valley. The city is obvious so you'll know when you see it. Oh, one more thing." Jirachi said. He held out a small piece of paper. It looked blank and it had a string through it so one of the group could wear it around their neck.

"You'll need this in order to see Lugia. It may appear blank but that's because only high up members of the Silver Resistance know how they work. Show this to one of them and tell them it's from Jirachi and they'll get you to Lugia. Now then, I need to get to helping Saul. Kyker is here so I will have to say goodbye to the four of you for now. I don't know when I might next see you but I do wish you luck. They're all yours Kyker." Jirachi said. He handed the note to Kyker as he and Saul went into the next room. The conversation concluded the group followed Kyker outside of Jirachi's home.

"Thanks Jirachi," said Kyker as she took the paper. She was about to wear it when she realised it was impossible. Instead, she spun rapidly on the spot, stopping herself to face the four remaining Pokemon. "Who wants to wear this? This will fall off me if I do." However, just by glancing at them, it seemed as if Zac was out of the question already, leaving it entirely to the other three. She turned to focus on Jason, Roran and Jordan. "Well? It's down to you three." She gave them an expecting look, which could also be seen as her telling them to hurry up and choose.

Jason stepped forward. Though he was nervous, he managed to keep his usual stutter to a minimum. "I'll w-wear it, and th-then we won't have to w-w-worry about it...is that a-alright?" I might as well wear it until we get to the city. That way, none of the others will be weighed down, or bothered by it. I've never been bothered by paper, of any kind, anyway. So this should be absolutely no problem...Right? Jason continued stepping forward, until he was close to Kyker. He lowered his head, and laid his ears back, indicating for her to loop it around his head.

Zac frowned at this. 'I resent that Kyker, I can hold stuff too' he protestetd as his cheek bulged out and his tongue extended, the Safeguarding Malachite balanced on it. 'Where do you think I kept the jewel? Around my non-existant neck? Apparently my insides are like some kind of vault, I can pull a lot of random crap from my mouth, and store a lot in there to. Only problem is that I won't find what's in there till I'm Haunter, due to the lack of hands' he explained, slurring his speech due to his tongue.

Jordan turned to see everyone else conversing when she was then confronted by Kyker. She sat proudly in her puppy position and looked up at Kyker. Jordan walked up to her and casually gave her a small sniff. She then retreated and watched as Jason approached Kyker. Jordan looked down at her paws and then glanced around. She saw Zac, and was going to go talk to him, but decided not to, since he looked like he was busy thinking. Jordan then turned her attention the the jewels, and started to try to comprehend everything that Jirachi had told them.

Seeing as Jordan was offering, Kyker placed the paper around his neck, before turning to Zac and explaining why she discounted him. "It's not that I don't trust you - make no mistake - but there are some things that cannot be so loosely made. I would feel more relieved if I could see the paper before my eyes." She was speaking in an unusually wise way that was very rarely seen; after all, at times, Kyker wasn't an impatient fighting Pokemon.

Zac sighed as his tongue and the jewel retracted into his mouth. 'I do literally have some kind of pocket dimension in my mouth, makes me wonder what else I can do. Truth be told I know so very little about the ghost type and their strange, ethereal powers. Maybe Jirachi might know something about them'. 'Hey guys, I need to see Jirachi about something, so I'll meet you guys up outside' he announced and flew through a wall.

Guest Tainted Black

Saul had flown, per se, up to a hill and was looking out over the setting sun after his conversation with Jirachi. The talk had alerted him to things, but it kept a pressing thought in his mind. The missing Nadia was really bothering him. The fact that she was missing had him completely on edge, and he wanted to retrieve her ASAP. He felt a bit down that he had ket her be taken, running like a coward. Oddly, his demeanor stayed as flat as ever, although he was both admiring the sunset and worrying. He looked at the gym on his left leg as he floated. He would get her back, no matter the cost. With that. he headed back to whence he came.

The sun was coming to set. The group had spent time going around with Kyker preparing to go. Each member had purchased either one healing item or one item to assist in battle with funds generously provided by Kyker. In truth it had taken longer than Kyker had hoped but it was always better to be safe than sorry. Jirachi's ritual to help Saul had worked far faster than expected and he began moving about the city on his own. Jirachi, already exhausted from bringing the group to the pokemon world, was now truly running on empty. As the sun started to touch the horizon Jirachi could tell that he would soon fall asleep for a few days.

Zac needed to speak with Jirachi. As he... floated back into the home he took quick notice of Jirachi sitting in one of the chairs. This was odd for the usually levitating Jirachi. It was obvious that he was tired and Zac knew that if he was going to ask anything he would have to do it now or he might never get to. Jirachi shifted slightly at seeing Zac enter but was too tired to do much else.

"Zac, is there something you needed?" he said with large yawns surrounding the statement.

The rest of the group had assembled at the northern gate of Hillside Village. Saul would soon reach the group and then they would have to wait for Zac. Each member looked over what they had purchased and ran through how to use their moves in their mind one more time.

--------

In his tower Ho-oh was finishing a meeting with some of his top subordinates. Nadia was one of eight pokemon present aside from Ho-oh himself. Three of course were the legendary beasts, the others were not friendly looking themselves.

"I think it's quite obvious that the group will move shortly. We need to intercept them shortly. I believe the plan has been well discussed as it is. Take the Unknown portal and set up shortly." Ho-oh said.

"Yes sir." came from both Nadia and a rather battle-scarred Sandslash.

So I'm back! Sorry the RP couldn't continue without me but I couldn't get the info to Black in time. Now we're back in business. Go ahead and talk about what item your character bought in your next post a bit if you so choose. Nothing other than that except that this RP is finally going to get moving. Thanks for your activity. Oh, one other thing. Be sure to keep the character names straight. I've seen Jordan and Jason mixed up a few too many times so far.

Zac looked in Jirachi's tired face. 'For all the power in the world' he thought. 'The others would probably be getting impatient with me, so I'd best make this quick Jirachi. Now, I can honestly say that I do not know much about the ghost type of Pokemon besides the obvious parts of being etheral, unharmed by fighting and normal moves, good against psychic and ghost, bad against dark and ghost. But what I really want to understand is the extent of a ghost's powers. I know very little about them and what they can truly do' he admitted.

OOC: The reason for this is that I kinda want to emulate the ghosts from the anime.

Jirachi shifted a bit at hearing the question and at first seemed he would not be able to sit up. Another yawn and a stretch came and somehow he got up to talk with Zac for whatever amount of time he could.

"I suppose I can say what I know. Being a psychic type myself I can't know everything or even all that much. So you know they can't be affected by purely physical means. You should also know that most ghost types, at least gastly and its evolution line, are also part poison. Regardless it's hard to say what exactly a ghost is... All I know are legends so all I could do for you is pick and choose what legends I think are most plausible. Now I'm not sure I'd be able to stay awake long enough to do that so here's something else you can do. Lugia should know more about it than me or at the least he'll have a subordinate who is a ghost type.... he might... be able... to tell a bit... more to you......" Jirachi said. Throughout he had yawned, paused, and even almost fallen asleep. Finally at the end sleep did take him and Zac was left with the call to go to Lugia to learn more.

Jordan paced around the area. She was starting to get really bothered by the thoughts about Nadia. Jordan looked up and faintly saw Saul in the distance. A faint and small smile appeared on Jordan's face and she laughed slightly

"Looks like he's decided to come back..." she muttered. She waited for Saul to arrive and then found herself still thinking about Nadia's well-being. She was her friend...So she wouldn't be able to bear it if she had lost her...Jordan started to shake her head to try to forget about it, and then she began pacing again.

Zac watched the sleeping Jirachi, if he had a hand, he'd bury his face into it. 'I guess I couldn't really ask for much from a town mayor with a vast knowledge of ancient histories and legends. If I want to know my new powers, I'll have to consult Lugia' he self-consulted and left through the wall.

The winds were at least still, so he went unhindered towards the group. 'I'm back from my little endeavour, are we all ready to go?' he inquired.
