Lyfe.
A Render is a picture without a background. People use them to make custom tags. You take a render and create your own background, improve lighting, etc. Renders are pre-cut out of their background. If you go to post something that may have a black or white background, and the background gets pasted with it, it is not a render.
Legend Zero
An image that is used in graphic forms of art' date=' usually as the main 'focal'. Lyfe.
Renders may first APPEAR as though they have a black/white background, but when viewed in full-view (account needed), they are rendered. If you put them onto a multi-colored background, only the focal will come up. http://planetrenders.net/renders/

KuroKibo
Or more likely,A pic with no BG (Must transparent) that you save it as .PNG. It won't work if you save it as JPG as JPG doesn't support transparency. And what WarMasterK said' date=' the example is one in your sig (that guy).[/b']
