thank you twig for being my first reply!

There are knights and thieves in the future?

 

EDIT: oh i see what you mean. Well' date=' there are always going to be criminals (i.e. theives). The knight i wasn't sure about adding, but then I added a small backstory to fit the title "Knight" in with the future.[/b']

 

So I have a question, this is going to take place at 2010?

 

i dont really want to give away the story, but, lets just say, "more or less"

 

It was pretty good. I think it's good enough.

Don't contradict him he's the maker of the story! (lolJk)

 

If I was contradicted like that I would make up some BS saying like, well if you wait to get into the story you'd learn later on that the world was put on the brink of anihilation and the human race was nearly lost. Humans survived, but their technology did not, and most of the human race's "good minds" were lost. =P

 

You should get someone to read over your story and fix up stuff you might miss.

Shrinking time in between chapters is bad. =-(

 

Less thinking time, less in-depth story, no character developement time. I make people who read my stories on Fanfiction wait around 2 weeks minimum before I post another chapter.

 

Course if that's what you wanna do then go for it (you probably do it faster than me since I like writing my stories on paper first).

oh i did not think of it that way

 

well, when its something i like (and i LUUUUVV Final Fantasy), i brainstorm very quickly. i already got a *moderately* detailed idea for the next 5 episodes. obviously, 5 episodes does not make a fanfic, but i think i can keep up with the post date and still have some great ideas.

 

and i was only shrinking it to Wednesday & Saturday....

 

anyways so i really want to post Episode I already, but im not sure cause......idk im just not sure..

 

so what do u think?

Writers can plan out a whole book without writing it. Did you know that?

 

Umm...you can post it today. Then post the next chapter next week or so...

omg imagine if J.K. Rowling did that for every H.P. book. O.o

Name: Xero Terrion (Xero is pronounced "Sero")

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance: Tan hair. Hair is kinda big, spiky, messy. Has a brown line of tattoo on his face from his eye to all the way down until the end of the face. Brown eyes. Shirt is brown, trimmed with green. Dark brown pants.

Background/History: Xero is an orphan. He never knew his parents. He made a lot of friends at his orphanage. Xero had his brown tatoo in his face ever since he was found in the streets. He doesn't know much about his past. He lived in the streets for 3 years, fed by strangers. Someone took him to an orphanage where he spent most of his life.

Personality: Friendly, protective of friends and animals, courageous. Also shy and nervous when trying new things. Most important of all, goofy.

Job: Summoner

Often summons live plants(walking plants-talks, has emotions,etc...)

I like it. It really fits a FF introduction. The only isuue is that there hasn't been a FFIV(14) yet. Why don't you rename it so people don't get confused. I might post a character soon. I'll see how this goes as it goes deeper into the story. My guess there is going to be a gigantic flashback scene in the next episode, right?

They are already making FFIV. It's going to be an MMO like FFXI.

Age (between 16 and 37): 27

Gender: Male

Appearance (pics are not suggested, but allowed): Dark Red Hair in a samurai braid at the back. Wears clothing similar to Auron from FFX.

Background/History: He doesn't say much, but when he does it makes a lot of sense. He sticks to his job as a mercenary for hire really well. He is a strong character with a lot of power behind his attacks. He has been a mercenary for about 2 years now.

Personality: Dark, But extremely good.

@evryone: after u read episode I u'll probably say "ohemjee double-you-tee-ef iz wit all da knights

 

well, 1, i said it wouldn't be like the 2010 u all are used to. this 2010 im writing about, is halfway between the time of final fantasies with castles & knights, and the final fantasies with machines & gunners

 

and 2, the multitude of knights will be handled in future episodes

 

@people who care: i can see supernova's point on shortening time between episodes. i barely got episode I done (its ok, i got all the details i wanted in). so its back to being 1 every week

 

@everyone again: normally, it should be obvious that an episode would continue on from the prev, but if i ever post "To Be Continued", it means that this particular part of the story is split between 2 or 3 episodes. so don't be confused if there are unexplained instances. they will be explained in the next episode

 

kk then, here it is without further adeu (spelling???).

 

[spoiler=Episode I- Out of the Blue]

"Well, I'm still not sure whether or not if what Kaipoj is doing is right..."

 

"Are you kidding me?! The other nations are a threat with the crystals! Did you see those barbarians at Oameun?! With the crystals, they'd probably kill us!"

 

"Well, still, something just doesn't seem right..."

 

~~~~~Intera City~~~~~

 

Cid and Toren were walking through the city, talking about the King's plans to safely secure the crystals from the other nations, to keep them from falling into the wrong hands.

 

"Still need some persuasion, huh?" Toren started again, "You're new to Intera. All the way from Arzel, right?"

 

"Right."

 

"This is what happened about 4 years ago..."

 

~F~L~A~S~H~B~A~C~K~

 

~~~~~Intera Castle~~~~~

 

It is a dark evening. It is raining.

 

There is a Dark Knight walking up to the castle gate. The two guards are being cautious.

 

"State your business here," said the first guard.

 

The Dark Knight keeps walking, without so much as hesitating.

 

"Halt!" said the other guard, as both go into a battle position.

 

"Oh shut up!" The Dark Knight pulls out a DeathBringer (dark-sword) and lunges for the second guard. The guard falls. The first guard tries to slash at the Dark Knight, but the knight jumps backwards over him and stabs him. The knight lands in a kneeling position, he stares at this kills.

 

"....One out of Ten...." The knight gets up and barges through the gate. Many soldiers start rushing at the knight. The knight shrugs them off as if they're nothing. For each kill he makes....

 

"Two out of Ten. One out of Ten. Zero out of Ten. Two out of Ten. One out of Ten. Three out of Ten."

 

Finally, the knight reaches the throne room. The King is all alone, wearing his usual fancy robe...

 

"Unprotected? Kaipoj, are you truly this insane? Hehehe..." said the knight, walking up to the throne.

 

"I've had to evacuate all of my subjects," said the King, "and fret not. I am not unprotected."

 

The knight stops and jumps in the air, dodging a Fira cast from the direction of the throne.

 

"I didn't know you knew black magic. Very cunning, Kaipoj!" said the knight, almost with an impressed demeanor.

 

"You don't know a lot of things about me, Garand." The King removes his robe to reveal finely crafted, dark-red armour. He is weilding an Excalibur (light-sword).

 

"Well then," says Garand, going into a fighting pose, "let's see if you can get past five..."

 

~F~L~A~S~H~B~A~C~K~~~E~N~D~

 

"Then what happened?" Cid spoke excitedly.

 

"The King never told anyone what happened afterwards," Toren replied.

 

"So what was Garand there for?"

 

"The King said he was there to steal the crystal in the castle's crystal chamber. Rumor has it, that if all four crystals are gathered, the world would be plunged in darkness. Since Garand was a Dark Knight, darkness would increase his strength. The whole WORLD in darkness, he would be the most powerful entity on the planet."

 

"Wow. Who knew? So where is he?"

 

"Well, I think he's dead."

 

"Well deserved, I'm sure. Hahaha..." Cid's watch starts beeping. 11:30 PM. "It's time for me to work on the King's airship. Wana join me?"

 

"Sure, why not? How did you get that job anyways?"

 

"I'm a friend of Kaipoj's sister, Nicol..."

 

Cid and Toren start walking towards the castle. After a few moments, they arrive at the castle gate. But when they enter...

 

"Woah! Where is ev'ryone?" Toren asked surprised. There is no one in the castle. They are in absolute silence.

 

"I don't know," Cid replies, "This place is usually bustling."

 

"You two!" A knight clothed in blue armour rushes towards them.

 

"What do you want?" asks Toren, being cautious.

 

The knight looks around to make sure no one is watching, then he answers...

 

"...A hostage." The knight sends Toren back with the flat side of his blade. Then grabs Cid and holds his blade to his neck.

Background/History: Being the very one who is said to be the possible savior of his land, Tiberius was rumored as a man of destiny. He was the greatest warrior of his homeland and the hero as well. He never thought about himself no matter what. When he set out to find another town to help with a problem, he heard of Intera City. He heard of a story that the King there was threatened and almost killed by an assassin in Dark armor, he began his quest to help in any way he can if it actually happened and something similar is happening now.

Personality: Tiberius is the one who never backs down on a fight. There are times when he must back down and times when he has no choice but to fight in order to save his own friends. There are times when he must risk his own life to protect his friends and that he would make history if he had ever perished sacrificing himself. He is also very selfless and will give any support if needed by anybody.

Job: VIII. Blade Master - A master at using all types of swords created at the time of the storyline specified.

 

Oh, and nice chapter. Next one should be longer.
