Twisted Toy Land [An R.P. 820 RP][Started]

The Warden

"Hey I said, what's all the commotion," Jetty called out again. When he heard what Jangle said he looked around seeing the other toys not really saying anything. "Well, if a 20 year old toy can go on this mission then why can't you younglings do it. I'm in. I need an adventure," Jetty said. He hobbled over to where the group slowly began to form looking at the other toys to join in. 'This will be fun, like the old days,' he thought to himself.

"Count me in."

96 got up and moved over to the group. He less walked and more glided, but either way, he got there. He stood and stared at the audience, looking for any other toys that seemed like they could prove useful to the mission. He was very goal minded in this way. The other two volunteers and the leader weren't enough to get the supply of tools they need. What they really needed right now was someone that could fly...

"Of course I'm coming, anywhere is better than this ... hellhole," said Antoinette in response, looking disapprovingly at her surroundings. She couldn't stand anything that wasn't hygenic, clean, or tidy in any form or order, and the junkyard was a perfect example. Indeed, it was odd how someone with such high, clean standards could have survived for a time in a place so dirty she had every urge to go and clean everything if it weren't for certain barriers such as height and strength. "And besides, I want to find the museum again - I must return there."

OoC: Accepted over PM. Here's my character:

[spoiler=Little Bird]

Username: Otaku-sama

Name: Mark 2500 Elite Nighthawk Chopper (the 'pilot' is codenamed Little Bird)

Gender: Vehicle is genderless, pilot is male, refers to the vehicle as a female.

Toy type: Non-operational Model Helicopter

Appearance: The helicopter is a large, about 50 cm in length and 10 cm high, and has a very blocky contour that doesn't seem to be flight worthy. It does provide an intimidating appearance. It is made of black plastic and has decals of a fictional military company, the Elites. The logo, a gunnery sergeant chevron pattern with four stars under it, is emblazoned on both sides of the body. It has four sets of blades, two placed on top side by side and two placed on the tail. The doors on the side and the railings are large enough to house up to two to four toys within. The pilot is rather small in comparison. The pilot is 5cm high, dressed in a black jumpsuit and has a sophisticated atmospheric helmet with the same logo.

Weapons: The helicopter has two sets of missile packs on the sides of the helicopter and a minigun turret on the front. Although they do not have nearly the same power of their real life counterparts, the missiles are like flying needles that can lodge within flesh and can be very painful to remove and the minigun can deliver a nasty BB-gun like barrage. The pilot, however, is unarmed. He does have a radio transmitter and a speakerphone that allows him to communicate.

Special Quality: It was the last momento of a late military helicopter pilot.

Personality: The pilot, who goes by Little Bird, is very cocky and has an ego that makes him seem as tall as a human. He believes he can take down any challenge, even without his helicopter, although this theory is untested. He is very precise when it comes to completing a 'mission' and won't come back until he has something to show for his efforts.

History: The helicopter was a one of a kind fantasy model made to order by a wealthy family, who's only son was an avid fan of helicopters. The son wanted to join the army instead of inheriting the family company and had a major falling out with the family. When news of his death reached the father, the father saw it as an opportunity to remove all evidence of his existence and threw away the model along with other momentos, much to the dismay of the mother. Since the black Nighthawk was the most loved out of them all, it and its pilot animated and now are on a quest to find their original 'commander'.

Little Bird was tending to his 'baby', a helicopter that dwarfed him in size, when he heard the town bell resonate through the yard. He quickly jumped into the cockpit of the heli and took off, the huge vehicle creating a humming noise as it nimbly flew around the wrecks of cars and old refridgerators. After a few seconds of flying, Little Bird reached the town square, landing on the side, forcing a few toys to move out of the way to avoid being crushed.

Little Bird got out and quietly listened to the tall jester doll begin to gather fellow toys for a search for tools in the humans' world.

"Hey, I'll go! You guys won't be able to haul all those tools back home by yourselves and Bessie o'er here is a first class cargo transporter!" he shouted, proclaiming his ego to everyone in the square, "You guys could use a pro like me!"

Guest Tainted Black

The loopy bat had managed to fall out of the sky as the meeting was taking place. He raised a pained 'claw' as he spoke. "I'll go." He said gleefully, then got a sulking look on his face for God knows why. He sat up from his fallen position, sprawled out with his wings wide, and sat on his would be haunches. He waited for the others to say more, for he was not quite sure of what he had volunteered for. He hoped it would be a job that would let him sleep when no one was looking. He loved sleep. The zany bat grabbed a random stuffed animal's arm and scratched his back with it.

Jangle was growing more amazed at the number of applicants, including the enigmatic Antoinette. 'Thank you all for your bravery in accepting this mission. Please now, return to your work whilst brief our volunteers' he announced. Many of the toys wandered off, save for the ones who obligingly gave their call. 'I am very grateful for so many brave applicants. This mission is one of stealth and care, since we're infiltrating the human world and searching through their 'garages' and 'sheds' for these items. With so many joining us, I feel we should split into two teams, due to possessing two who can carry the goods'.

"Very well then, I'll join the faster team." Trevor hooted instanously, still whizzing around the group, a line of blue visible in a halo of dirty white. He froze for a moment before chugging along. "So, which would be easier to get into?" He asked, standing back, waiting for the groups to be oraganised. He was excited to be exiting this wasteland, and going back to the human world. He felt much better whizzing past on the gravel.

Little Bird picked up on the challenge posed by the bullet train toy as it claimed it was the fastest of the toys.

"Hey! That was a challenge! No one's faster than me 'n Bessie! I'm going on the fast team too! Get back here!" he immediately said as he clambered into the cockpit of his helicopter. The engines roared to life and began to spin the blades of the helicopter until they blew dust in every direction. The helicopter rose off the ground and with great speed and force, took off after the train.

A few seconds later, the helicopter span in the air and returned to the group, still in the air.

"Hey! Where are we going anyways?! You have a plan right?" the pilot shouted from a loudspeaker down to the toys below.

ooc: accepted by pm I think.

Jason climbed over the pile of trash. He looked to his right and left. Just a giant junkyard, and he was given life to explore here. That wasn't much of a life to him. He hadn't seen any toys since he was given life by the force unknown to him, he guessed that it didn't matter that much. He would be much of a company. Sure he would be help against rats or something, but other than that Jason was not that much of a use. For what ever reason popped into his mind, Jason decided to fly above the trash, hoping to find something or someone. Or would it still be something, everyone (or everything) was still a toy.

Jetty let out a long sigh as the two toys challenged each other for speed. They weren't nay match for a jet of his caliber even if he was old. "I'll be with the fast group, since they need an experienced soldier with them," Jetty said. He transformed into his vehicle mode and took off. He blasted past the helicopter and train, flying around at high speeds. He waited for Mr. Jangle to tell them what the plan was and where exactly they needed to go. Jetty continued to fly around the helicopter and train, showing that they weren't as fast as they thought.

"I'll lead up the other team. We're going to need someone with stealth smarts if we want anything really good." He needed one of those transports if he was going to get anywhere, though. As charming as he was, any human would immediately blow their lid and their cover if they were discovered, and stealth, not speed, was the way to go on this one. He had an idea, suddenly. A contingency in case they were spotted. However, the plan had its snags, but it was slowly forming in his head. This could work... 96 thought.

Slither hissed calmly as the chaos of debating toys and division into teams unfolded around her before finally she too spoke. "This-s-s-s other team appeals-s-s to me. The st-stealth favours-s-s my own s-skill s-s-set." With that the painted toy snake slithered off toward 96 would apparently lead her, assuming she didn't have any better ideas. She surveyed the area the self proclaimed 'fast team' was far larger then thier own slower group, this division would probably hurt the toys more then anything if things went wrong, but still Slither would see how things played out, and if worse came to worse, the negative-energy powered venom that waited at her disposal would hopefully get her out of trouble.

Jangle watched the chaos from the other toys, and was considering if asking for assistance was really a good idea. 'Everyone please, calm your collective selves. We are not here to bicker and argue about who his faster. Both teams require the epitomy of stealth, and I've already been working out some ways to be seen without suspicion. Our friend Little Bird here makes the perfect scout as he and 'Bessie' can be seen without being suspicious; humans only really look around at loud noises and shiny things, so, if we tie a banner for some miscellaneous store as an advertisement, he can scout out without suspicion whilst being in plain sight' Jangle explained.

Jason flew over and to the North with his Jetpack. He didn't see much except for a few rats scattering across the floor. Should I find other toys to help me? Jason shook his head and choose not to find others, but let them find him. He lowered his altitude to the heaps of trash and doing his regulaur look around drop. He saw something over the edge of a gaint pile of trash. He sighed and looked over the edge of the trash. To his surprise he saw a group of toys all looking like a team. Strange, I didn't know this was here.

"Fine. But you could attach something to Gramps here." Trevor hooted, deciding on wether he should bother enticing the others to a race. "There are Remote-Controlled Jets." He explained, slowly gaining speed. "So what tools are we meant to get?" He asked, still 'pacing." He began to speed up, and he began to 'run' as he asked his next question. "When do we go?" After some more spinning, he asked his next question. "How long are we alowed out there?"

Jason then saw one toy starting to pace then saw that pace turn into a run. Jason thought for a moment about what he said earlier. Was this going against what he had said just second earlier? He only questioned it for a little bit longer then slid down the trash heap. As he slid down, he looked very stupid doing so because he was losing his balance a little but he still got down without falling or triping over himself. "Hello."

Jetty flew ontop of trevor and changed into his robot mode as he did. He landed ontop of him and aimed his cannon into his main engine. "What was that sunny?" Jetty asked Trevor, "I could go faster then you before you even broke the sound barrior." With that said Jetty chnaged back into his vehicle mode as he jumped off Trevor. He blasted past him and flew around some more. "Well when are we going to get going. I'm not gonna sit and turn into rust here anytime soon," Jetty said.

Little Bird listened to the plan proposed by Jangle intently, still hovering in the air.

"Hmm...You're right. Humans have very short attention spans and wouldn't pay much attention to me 'n Bessie. One problem though: unless we have a two way radio sittin' around, I won't be able to give you real time updates. Going back 'n forth is pretty slow 'n not good on Bessie either. Someone's gotta be my in-between."

Little Bird surveyed the toys, then spotted the old man jet boasting his former speed.

"Hey Grandpa Jet! You say you're fast! I need someone to bounce information for me and since you're supersonic, you're the best candidate!"

Jangle was unaware of the stormtrooper as he was assaulted by Trevor's questions. 'Well, for tools, we need the basic means, such as hammers, nails, nuts, bolts, screwdrivers and anything useful we can get our hands on. But, of course we have to do this mission during daylight hours. It is more dangerous during the day, however, doing this at night vastly increases the likelihood of being found out or captured. Humans grow very paranoid at night, so their sense of hearing increases. Also, we'll be exploring the neighbourhood closest to our home, very risky, but it will decreases needed travelling time for the slower of our troop' Jangle answered.

Guess I wasn't heard by them. Maybe I should be louder... "Hello? Toys that are here?" Jason wondered if they were purposely ignoring him. This might be the truth, they might be getting rid of me because they don't need another member. As Jason thought about it more he overheard the conversation of one of the toys. If they were trying to get to the neighborhood, they would probably need all the help they could get. "Hey, I'm another troop for deploying. I could help you with you 'mission'"

Jangle noticed the stormtrooper toy after Trevor's barrage. His long legs carried himself over to him with one step as he knelt down. He eyed it carefully, it was the run-of-the-mill stromtrooper action figure, very poseable, expendable, but a blaster would be invaluable should things go south. 'Sorry, I didn't hear you what with all the noise these guys are making. My name is Jangle, or Mr. Jangle if you prefer. And you are?'

"Jason. Thank you Mr.Jangle." Jason quickly glanced around. "Looks like you got quite the group here. Need any help with going into the neighborhood. I'd be happy to help." Jason raised his blaster a little. "Im sure you wouldn't mind having one of theses around. 2 types of setting, kill and stun." Jason was grinning inside his helmet. He had a face inside, he had never seen it but he did in fact have one.

Jetty flew down and transformed into his robot mode right near Mr. Jangle and the Storm Trooper. "Ah nice gun you got there lad," he said, "But I think mine is a bit nicer." His right arm changed into a canon and he showed it to the storm trooper. "Mine is a kill only," he said with a laugh, "Can we get going. I'm only getting older here?" With that said he transformed back into his vehicle mode and blasted off. Some dust picked up from his spot as his jet boosters blasted Jetty away.

Jason grinned to himself and turned on his jetpack. "Guess I'm with the transformer..." Jason took off, barely keeping up with the transformer. His jetpack was fast but not as fast as the transformers jets. Heh, the transformer is almost like an upgraded version of me... Just not organic. Jason flew after the transformer then his jet pack said it needed to cool down. He flew back towards the camp. "I can't keep up."

Dee dee looked around cautiously, her eyes alert for any sign of danger. She saw two toys- one like her, the other not. She stood at her spot for a second, deciding whether or not to attack. Dee dee decided she would attack. Well, she wasn't going to attack a fellow storm trooper- but her instincts won her over, so she attacked the soldier. "AIY-YI-YIIIIIIIII!" She screamed aloud- her war cry. While Dee dee was in the air, she fired with her sniper rifle. It was supposed to be used for long distance only, but she still did it- she didn't have another weapon at the moment, so it would have to do. For now.
