Skarlet
Ar-Kay-Us it's name is derived from "archaic" Meaning 'of, relating to, or characteristic of an earlier or more primitive time.' That's my personal oppinion, not an official statment. Being the 'Pokemon God', it's certainly of an 'earlier time' hense supporting my theory. Thus, I think I'm the only one who's pitched a decent argument and thus I win.

Dark
AR-SEE-US or AR-SOOSE interchangeably. I've never heard anyone in my entire life ever say the word "AR-SOOSE"... even when talking about Arceus.
Phantom Roxas
That's because I read that the "-ceus" part may be derived from Zeus.
Dark
That is most likely where the spelling came from, but that doesn't carry the OOS pronounciation.

Kabuchimaru
Yes, According to Bulbapedia. Did you know, According to Bulbapedia, Catch Rate, a formula embedded into a simple children's game, is real serious business? ARE-SEE-US. Lol at AR-SOOS. PowerlinX
I say Ar-Kee-Us because it sounds right, even though the right way to pronounce it is in the anime.
