Pokemon Archeorre Region [started, Always accepting] [Custom Pokemon now available]

((Not to put a dampener on the town list, but having everyone start in the same place seems rather odd, especially when that place is a village. A big city wouldn't be so bad, since at least you can justify it with 'that's where everyone we're paying attention to came from', but everyone heading out to a small village just to turn around again and 'start' seems pointless, if not contrived. If everyone was using set starters, and they were only handed out from there, maybe it would be justified, but since they're not there's no reason people can't get their first pokémon anywhere.))

 

James looked at the new guy who had arrived. Another older trainer. What was this, Saffron City? He'd been alone less than 10 minutes ago, and now there were three other people here. He knew he'd meet new people, but somehow he hadn't expected to meet them this fast. He shuffled back over to Abra. He considered using teleport and just leaving, but he figured that would be a bit rude, and since they'd not been further than this Abra would only be able to teleport safely if they went back the way they came. He decided to stay, for now.

 

So the girl's called Lex, he pondered, changing his own mental track, so who are the other two then?

"What am I going to do with you?" Tyce asked the innocent looking Stunky on his lap. "Stun" it replied. He scratched the little Stunky's head the picked it and himself up. He started walking until his foot connected with a root and he tripped. And just his luck he was able to trip and roll down a hill with Stunky chasing behind him. When he finally stopped, he looked up with his face covered in grass stains and dirt and was eye to eye with a giant mass of wool.

 

"Ma!" It cried startled. Just then a Vulpix looked his way. It seemed that it was trying to get a meal, but today, it was going to get a trainer. "Stunky use Scratch on that Vulpix." The little Stunky flew across the field and started slashing away at the little fox, but the Vulpix was having none of that and responded with Roar. Stunky flew backwards, and accidentally used Poison Gas, its defense mechanism when it is threatened. The whole field was covered in a black smog, and all you could see were the backs of some of the Mareeps, looking like yellow clouds. Tyce pulled out a pokeball and threw it aimlessly hoping on all hopes that it would connect with the Vulpix. All of the Mareeps ducked under the gas as hoping they wouldn't get caught. After about 10 minutes the gas was gone and Tyce found his Pokeball laying on the ground still. He was pretty sure that that Vulpix was inside.

When I refer to a starting town, I mean the one that the main hero would start in, were this one of the games or something similar.

When they entered the shrine it had a feeling of power to it. There were anceint runes carved into the walls. But it was the carved picture of a pokemon that caught Recteik's attention. He had never seen a pokemon like it before. So he pulled out his pokedex and pointed it at the scanner at the carving:"ARCEUS, The Alpha Pokemon, It is told in mythology that this Pokemon was born before the universe even existed!"

 

Recteik stared in total awe,"Arceus?" His head was spinning Arceus was so powerful. He had heard of Arceus but never seen a picture of it before. But he was confused Arceus was famous in Sinnoh! Why was there a shrine to it here and, why had nature been aloud to reclaim this place? "Riolu we have to tell somebody about this place. . . Roilu?" He looked every which way but could not see his little freind. "RIOLU,"He called. "Riiiiiiii Ooooh!" He heard Riolu call back to him.

 

He fallowed the sound of Riolu's calls and found himself in a small camber and, Roilu was standing in front of a pedastal. "What you find?" Riolu pointed. Sitting on the pedestal was a slab of metal that was about 3 inches long and an inch wide. It was flat gray and had the same kind of runes on it. without even thinking Recteik picked it up. Suddenly Riolu started pulling on him. "Riiiiiiiiiiiiii,"He sounded scared. Recteik pocketed the trinket and ran for the exit.

"I'm Kristan Clement. And If you've ever been to sinnoh you'll know me, and if you haven't id ont have time to explain." Kris said, as he picked the ringing Mobile out of his back pocket. He flipped the screen and it said ~Public Video phone, Honeyroot town~. Kris clicked answer and looked at the screen on his phone, as it showed a picture of a boy, around 15. "Hello Tom, you're in Archeorre? News hasn't said anything yet." Kris said, to his friend and Rival Thomas Turoh.

"Yea, Just arrived. Tryed to keep it Suttle since otherwise the Press would just follow me around. Look, i dont have much time on the Videophone so we'el have to meet Up. What about Sahrashone City?" He asked, looking Behing him to check up on Lucario. But, on the other side of the Room, someone was watching him. She had Brown, long hair and was Wearing Quarter lenghts and a Top with a Fossil logo on it.

 

"He's Here. Yes i think Boss may be intrested. Look just tell her... Good Bye." The woman hiding spoke in a Bluetooth she had in her ear.

Tyce looked at the ball in his hand. He knew that a Fire-type would help him get past the Frosrtym Gym. He stared at it for a while, until Stunky nudged his leg so that they could properly greet the new team member. A white light emerged from the Pokeball and a fluffy mass emerged. Out of all the luck, it was the exact same Mareep that Tyce had startled. Mareep's expression changed from a startled one to an angry one. It then proceeded to rapidly Tackle him until it was recalled into pokeball.

 

Tyce picked himself up off the ground and caught a glimpse of the wild Vulpix running into the forest. Stunky stuck out his tongue at the little fox than set his attention back towards Tyce. "Okay lets go Stunky. Were about two miles away from Honeyroot City. Lets get moving." And with that they started walking towards Honeyroot.

Recteik made it to the exit when the rumbling started. The sky was begining to distort and, the air thrummed with energy. And with a loud crash Recteik saw the shrine crumble. He turned back to see a gaping hole in the sky and, from it emerged the pokemon the shrine had been dedicated to Arceus!

 

It stared at Recteik moving slow and graceful. It moved to hover directly in front of him. Recteik could feel Its eyes boreing into him. It was easily twice as tall as he was and it must have weighed several times as much as he did. But despite that he felt no fear. Rather a sence of deeply inspired awe. This pokemon was beautiful. It had an air of smug power.

 

Then it moved its eyes to his pocket,"Show me what you have there." Recteik started he hadn't thought it would speak to him. Fumbling for a moment he removed the small peice of metal from his pocket. "Aaah, an Iron Plate," it said. Suddenly 16 similar objects swirled around Arceus. It observed them for a few seconds and turned to Recteik and said,"You may keep that and any other of my spare Plates you find." With out another word it sailed back through the portal and was gone.

 

 

OOC: I translated it so you could all understand what Arceus ment. What it said was,"Arrrrrrc Arrrccceeuuss...." Or something close to it.

How can you justify talking to the Pokemon God?

 

IC: Cayden sat in the dank, dirty, and poorly maintaned bus, tuning his guitar. There was nothing easy about it either. the sickening smells distracted him, the bus would jold awkwardly whenever it hit some minute bump in the road. The sounds of blatently selfish people loudly going about thier business, or talking to one another were a constant distraction, and if that wasn't enough, the view from the window was, in it's self, very distracting. The beautiful landscape of the Archeorre region was compelling, but a group of people in dust-coloured shirts, and black quater-lengths wandering about with what looked like metal detectors and shovels was more then interesting enough.

"Slash!" The Sandslash grunted hearing it's master's order over the beeping of fossil detectors, and the sound of dirt flying into the air as pokemon and thier masters dug.

"Excellent! The boss will be happy with this."

The team's leader, Nix Moonfire, turned and saw the bus winding away, back toward the mountain. With that, she reached into the pocket of his uniform and started to dial her 'boss's' number.

"Ready, steady, Go! Ready, steady, Go!" A Mobile Rang from inside Sahrashone Citys tallest Skyscraper. It was removed from the Bage Pocket of a Woman in her early 20's. Flliping the Top of the Stylish Motoroloa She placed it to her Ear which was covered by Thick, Long black hair.

 

"Yes, what do you Want?" She replyed, like a Diva. Leening on her Mahogany desk and taking a Moka-froka Capachino to take a Sip while the woman on the other end Talked.

 

"What? You found it....Good. Wait a second...Who's Here in Archeorre? Thomas Turoh?!" he shouted out, people outside stoping Abuptly.

"Well, I'm busy right now. Got some amateurs around here. A guy was unconcious and they were shaking him about. I gave him some razz berry's though. He's better now. And Sashrone, I'll meet you there. I'll see you. By the way, who's the pokemon you got with you? I can hear it grumbling." Kris said. He knew who the pokemon was, only one of toms did that, but still, he added that for a laugh.

"Oh, that. Thats just Lucario; hes a bit Grumpy after the Flight. Guess he did not Like "The spy Next Door" Movie they played. Just going to take him to my Grandparents to have him looked eachother; They need the help from lucario with them Not feeling well. Ok, got to go otherwise the Weather may take a turn for the Worse over hear at the...." Thomas stoped Aburptly.

 

Lucario Had just used Iron claw on another Lucario which had come with another Person, a Professional Camara around his Neck. Since it was trained by Thomas, The hit knocked the Camara's Guys Lucario in one Cleen Critical, Super effective Hit.

 

"...Airport, Ok see ya Kris" he ended the call abruptly.

 

"Lucario! What was that about?! Why did you Battle without my permission? im so sorry about that, he's a bit Grumpy after the 12 Hour flight from Sinnoh..." He explained, Grabing his Lucario by the Ear.

 

"Thats Ok Young man, i understand. Pokemon dont Like long Flights, Unless there Flying-Type." He asked before Returning his Lucario to its Pokeball, A Luxary ball in fact.

 

"Thanks, Now lucario you better Think what about you have Done while your punished. Now return!" he sent back His lucario to its Cherish Ball. With that done, he exited the Airport and waked along To route 371: Airway Runway.

 

"He's Left, heading to Sharashone City. Better get the Grunts Ready." The strange woman in the Corner spoke into her Bluetooth before walking off a Diffrent way.

"Well....." And then the call ended. "See ya. Jeez, doesn't stop does he. We're both formor league champions." Kris said, loudly. Then he realised what he'd just shouted and turned around to see the three trainers looking at him with shocked face's. "Well now, dont blab about it. I'll give you an autograph if you want but later, see ya." And he turned around and ran off, his absol appeared beside him as he ran.

 

Another person wearing the strange fossil logo looked out from behind a tree. Only a grunt by the look. "Yes, the other's also on the move." He waited for a reply. "Yes, I'll follow him." And he put the phone away and ran off after Kris.

Thomas ran along the Route, seeing Cars and Busses along the Motorway while he Treged though Wild Grass and along the Way Occationaly, Trainers who wich were battling others. Then, while About to change rough to Sahrashone city to stock up on Supplys and take his First Gym battle he Sees somthing glissen in the Pale sunlight.

 

"Huh, Whats that?" he asked himself.

 

He reahced to grab it and after a sturn Tug from the ground and a Brush with His sleve he Finds a Plate of Stone, Blue as clear skys and had Unknown text Engraved to it. It read; Unknown to thomas himself said:

 

"The rightful Creator of a Plate Brings Life from the Plate it holds".

 

"Hey, This is just like them plates that i Dug up in the Underground. Why is one of them He..

 

"UFF!" Thomas was quickly Sent to a Unconfatble snoose as a Grunt in a Fossil uniform has hid him over the Head with a Shovle. Quickly his two Pokemon; Lucario and infernape were seperated from his poke-belt and thrown into a Bag. Himself being Lifted by two more grunts for about Two-hundread yards before being thown into a helicopter and flown away.

Starter Pokemon: treeco

Appearance: she looks a lot like lightning from final fantast 13, but she usually wears normally wears colorful t-shirts, and bright loose fitting jeans.

Biography: she was born and lived in, greenapple village. when she was 14, she decided to go to professor _______ (lets call him professor willow), and get a pokemon. the only pokemon left was a treeco. she didn't really like it at first, but after the half a year of training, they became almost inseprable. treeco always wears a pink ribbon around its neck.

Aspirations: to become a great cooridinater/trainer.

IC: Nix turned to her team and gave them a nod, indicating that they'd done good work. There had been no answer on her leader's phone. It was unlike Thomas Turoh to miss a call. Perhaps he'd been on another, more important one. She dialed again. Hoping this time she would reach the leader, this was great news, the team would be outfitted, grunts and leaders alike with a new arsenal of living weapons. This was it.

Cayden had pushed the memory of digging people out of his head. Probably just some boring fosil dig or something he thought. His bus was moving along at a comfortable speed, however it contained no comfortable passengers. Cayden had given up on the futile attempts to tune his guitar. Instead now he just sat there and peered out the window. There he saw an imposing mountain, and knew that soon he would be in Frostrime City.

"Hmm. Wander what region he was from?" Lex looked back at nick and James when an idea suddenly occured to her. She looked at Ninetales who looked back and noded, allmost smilling it seemed. She noded and laughed to herself. It's true it seems, Ninetales DOES seem to be able to understand humans. She looked at James and Nick,"You guys want to travel together?" Suddenly Ninetales fired a Fire Spin at a nearby tree and spred her tails growling. "What on EARTH!? You're never like this..." Thats when she saw the person the burnt tree once concealed and saw the fossil symbol. "So it's not just some story after all!!!", Lex yelled glaring at the person. He was running after the boy named Kris for some reason and Lex acted on impulse,"FIREWALL!" The wall of fire sprung up between Kris and the person chasing him. It was a perfect execution of Ninetales's unique move Lex had come up with and tought her.

 

((Firewall is a unique move Lex tought to Ninetales, since she likes comming up with new moves for her pokemon. It blocks any non-fire-type moves or pokemon. Only fire-type pokemon or moves can get passed it.))

Chloe steps out of the shower, and wraps a towel around her, and her hair. she walks into her bedroom and gets dressed, in her usual t-shirt, and comfortable jeans. she walks over to treeco, and nudges him a little. "Wake up, buddy, its morning. Today is the day we start journey" she says to Treeco gently. he stands up, and streches a little bit. he jumps on chloe's shoulder, and they walk downstairs. they say "bye" to Chloe's mom, and walk out the front door. after walking for a while, she sees a small town in the distance. as she continues walking, she sees a small skitty laying in the grass sleeping. she walks over to it and rolls a luxury ball (only kind of pokeball she uses), over to it. it wakes up, streches, and releases a small "meow". it notices the pokeball, and starts playing with it. it hits the button, and it sucked in with a strange red light. the ball moves once, twice, three times, then "ding!" the skitty was caught. she walks over to it, and lets it out. "hey little guy... do u wanna come with me?" she asks sweetly. the skitty looks at her playfully, nods head a little, and lets out a cheerful "skitty, skitt."

"Well I guess I could," James answered slowly, "although I was kind of hoping to go it alone for a bit first. Still, if you're headed the same way I am, I guess there's no reason to be spread out over the road." Plus I guess I'd be able to learn something from them - maybe - and if something goes wrong I still have Abra, so I won't be stuck with them. He sat back down onto the rock and fished in his pack for some snacks, one of which he tossed over to Abra. The still apparently sleeping pokémon caught it using psychic energy and steered it into it's mouth. It didn't even wake up to chew or swallow.

Kris looked back to see a man in a uniform, a fossil logo on it, trapped behind a wall of fire. The man turned to Lex. "You dont know who you're messing with. Go Houndour and Poochyana!" And to wolf like pokemon appeared. "Both of you, destroy that Ninetales." Kris turned back around and was about to run off when a woman in the same uniform as the man came out from behind a tree. "You escaped him, but not me. Now, we already have your friend Thomas Turoh, so if you dont come quietly, I'll kill him. Alright." Kris, reaching for the pokeball with Chimchar in it. But when she said she had Tom already, he dropped his hands. "DO anything to him an I'll kill you." He threatened, as the woman bound Kris' arms in a rope. A mankey appeared beside her and stared at Kris. "Well, do it Mankey." And Mankey Punched Kris, knocking him out. Then the woman Tossed Kris onto a Helicopter. "Get this Chopper out of here." The woman shouted to the pilot, who took of immedeatly. Kris groaned and opened one eye, just to see Mankey punch him again. The woman got out a phone. "I have him." Another womans voice replied, "Excellent. Get him back now." And the first woman hung up.

OOC: I read the recent posts quickly, and I'm sorta startled by the combination of KILLING and Pokemon. Reminds me of all the pokemon shooting games I've played when I was bored. Also, I've been gone, so reading those posts, I have almost no idea what's going on with some characters attacking people in suits *looks at Magnet Soldier and Auralady*

 

IC: Nick stood up slowly, his body still shaking because his head was still hurting. Either I'm still dreaming, or these people are CRAZY!!! Nick thought as he saw the girl named Lexie and another guy start attacking people in suits. Nick looked at the one guy with the Abra. "Well, this sure has been a weird turn of events huh?" Nick said, smiling through the pain. "By the way, I'm Nick. Who're you?" Nick leaned his hand against a wall, so that he wouldn't fall from the pain. He was getting better slowly, but he wasn't ready to move around.

Biography: Jason is a pokemon expert and is a former Elite Four. After many years of holding his position, he retired. Being rushed by the press he responded "There is no rush of being in the Elite Four." and walked away. He had encounter many evil doers and beaten them, therefore making rivals. A recent event occurred where Jason was out with his pokemon Totodile and came back to his house with it a mess and worse, none of his pokemon. He contacted the police and they are doing what they can about the stealing of Jason's pokemon. Jason is now building a new team of pokemon, starting out in the new Archerorre region, where the police said his pokemon were to be stored most likely (sorry about the last part of grammar, I just didn't know how to put it)

Jason stepped out of his house with his only pokemon, totodile. It was walking behind him and curiously poking around the town. "Come on Totodile, we are on a mission." Totdile responded with a smile and jumping and clapping. Jason laughed and sighed at the same time and started to head out of the small town. Totpdile followed obediently. Jason looked around. Nothing more then tall grass for training. "Looks like it's your lucky day, Totodile. You get to train."

Tyson let out a sigh as he saw Honeyroot come into view. Stunky jumped, or at least tried to jump with joy. Civilization was so close. Its not like he had been in the wild for long, as a matter of fact, he had only been out for a few hours, but Tyson was used to the constant sight of people, and not so used to the plains that he just came out of.

 

"Stunky, do you see it? A town, and where there's a town there are people?" Stunky let out a little Poison Gas from all the excitement, and the surrounding flowers wilted a bit. There pace sped up a bit as they got closer and closer to the town.

((can there be a contest in honeyroot, and is it ok if i say theres a wacky tree, that always has honey on it... kinda like honey - root, like they made the name after the tree? if there can't i'll change my post))

 

"ok then, well we better get going." Chloe says sweetly with a small smile. she stands up, treeco jumps back up on her shoulder, and skitty starts walking behind her. As they continue walking, Chloe sees a sign. she walks over to it and on it, it says "Now entering Honeyroot town, home of the Ever Honey Tree." "yay! were here guys!" she anounces cheefully. She walks over to a nearby Cannylo tree (a kind of tree i made up, it looks like canteloupe, and all it really does, is taste good), and picks 5 berries. she gives one to treeco, one to skitty, and keeps one for herself, then she puts the other 2 in her bag. they sit down and start eating.

Lex saw the chopper take off with Kris in it. Can't help with this guy in the way! Better take care of him first! "You guys want to help? Come on out Seal! Use Icebeam!",Lex yelled throwing the pokeball and sending out Seal. Seal's attack managed to catch the man and his pokemon's feet. "Now how about answering a few questions for us?"
