Also, when asking the defense of Gyzarus, you must tell him. It is common knowledge, and if this were at an event, he could have called a judge and asked for the defense.

You're right about R, but wrong about the Defense argument.

 

Nah, I'm right. I've seen so many arguments about this. The attacks and defense of any card is considered common knowledge. Like, if I wanted to know the defense of a blue eyes white dragon, even if my opponent wasn't playing it, and they didn't know, I could call a judge over to make sure of the defense.

Nah, I'm right. I've seen so many arguments about this. The attacks and defense of any card is considered common knowledge. Like, if I wanted to know the defense of a blue eyes white dragon, even if my opponent wasn't playing it, and they didn't know, I could call a judge over to make sure of the defense.

 

However, your opponent is under no obligation to tell you the stats of your own face-down monsters. After a monster has been flipped face-down, it isn't "common knowledge" what the monster is until it's flipped back up. Asking the DEF of a specifically named monster is fine. Asking the DEF of a face-down is not.

 

The person asked for the DEF of "the fusion", so yeah.
