Well I'm an amature manga artist, and so as a little test run, I decided to post my Story-Boards here.

Now I've been working on just the story alone for about 5 years now. So I'm in need of Story Editors who can help me with my Story-Line. From I thought up so far, I gotten about 3 confirmed Story Arcs in. So if wanna help me, let me now.

Enjoy, Rate, Comment (I really need feedback here, I'm trying to get as much info as possible.)

*Side Note* Using the standered mMcrosoft Works Word Proscessor program, I made each chapter 1 page long. So I was forced to leave out many valabulble details. Also, I've used words that some viewers find a bit "Offensive", so to let you know, that was my original intention all along. I also just did a copy and paste. So in the near future, I'll comeback, and fix any mistakes that are here.

[spoiler=Soul Chronicle: Debt: Chapter 1-Wheels of Faith]

It’s in the middle of a forest, and a group of nomadic people known as the Gun Dra tribe are taking their deathly ill chief of there people to the capital of Inu, the country that they were in, to the town known as Da-Chine-La-Pai (or Da-Chine for short), because they’ve heard that Da-Chine has a powerful healer who is said to heal just about anyone, then out of nowhere, the Gun Dra were ambushed by an elite group of soldiers from the town of Da-Chine, Since there town’s leader was seeing sudden and suspicious movement, fearing that they might attack the town, since the country of Inu was already at war with two other countries.

Meanwhile, with the ambushed finally over, the Gun Dran’s were badly defeated with only two survivors from the attack, Talan Mist (or Tala for his nickname), a very well known and respected warrior from in, and around his tribe, who’s known for his bravery and wits on the battlefield, and his younger brother Rey Mist, who’s a very short, lazy and laid back guy, who’s actually the smartest guy out of the entire tribe from studying various customs and different languages.

When they got back to their home village, the two reported on what happened to the others, and when they heard, the entire village was in an outrage, since there chief was killed just for trying to get help. So then the dead chief’s advisors then decided to hold an meeting with the entire tribe later that night. Later that Night. While the rest of the village was gathering, Tala secretly went off into the woods that surrounded their village, while he was walking, he was approached by scouts from the town of Da-Chine.

Meanwhile. With the meeting over with the village, Rey was looking for his older brother Tala, then out of nowhere, Tala came back to his village, then when Rey seen him, he ran to him and ask him where he was, since he didn’t see him at the meeting, Tala asked him if he missed anything important, Rey just replied

“*sigh* you should’ve been there Tala.” Tala just replied that he didn’t like to listen to people preach, or talk about politics, after he said that, Rey told him that they where mainly discussing about how they were able to find the chief’s secret path to Da-Chine, and also told him that he was made chief of the tribe, but to Rey’s surprise, Tala didn’t even look like he did cared.

To break the awkward silence, Tala asked him if today’s assignment counted towards the oval -all assignment’s he needed to complete to become an advisor, since to become one, a person needed to be wise in both political and war affairs-(which was good at the political part, but not the war part because he need to go on at least four raiding/war parties and whenever he was given the choice between studying and work, he chose study, but whenever it came down to studying and nothing, he chose nothing)-Then when Rey told Tala the he was tricked into the assignment for being lazy, Tala teasingly told him that they needed a translator, and also reminded him to help the people of tribe as much as he could, try to protect them with at least most of his might, since Tala already knew that Rey thought that the easiest way to become a advisor was by studying alone, and because of that Rey was able to know about different languages and customs, but didn’t bother to tell him since he was lazy.

A few days later. When the Gun Dra tribe was ready to attack the town of Da-chine, and with Tala leading there attack, the tribe thought it was going to be an success, but out of nowhere, people heard some screaming on the other side of the village, and then came a explosion, then from the smoke that followed the explosion were soldiers.

[spoiler=Soul Chronicle: Debt: Chapter-2 Betrayal]

While Soldiers ranging from 1,000-2,000 men were entering the village where the population was 300 and 1/3 of it were warriors, Tala quickly asked for one of Rey’s prized possessions, Rekki-Maru, a special reversed-blade dagger that had the sharp part of the blade switched around with the dull part of the blade, although not meant to kill intently, the extra blades sticking out the sides can change that. But the design of it isn’t what makes it special, its what is on the inside that makes it special, which is a spirit, which are beings that can’t be seen physically but can possess both humans and objects, and hold large amounts of power. While Tala was asking for Rekki-Maru, Rey reminded him that only he can wield Rekki-Maru, and that when Rekki-Maru was away from Rey, it would automatically come back to him, and everybody in the village knew that, then Tala told him that he found out one of the many secrets surrounding the blade, and as soon as he said that, a soldier came up behind Rey and was about to strike him down, but was stop and killed by Tala, which in response, Tala told Rey to gather up as much survivors as he can, and take them to the spot where the tribe goes if they ever they become scattered.

While Rey was trying to look for any survivors in the burning village and trying not to get caught , he heard a faint crying sound coming from a burning tippe, when he inspected it, he found a boy in it,6 years at least, so then Rey carried the boy a short distance before seeing his brother calmly leaving with the soldiers , but not in chains and shackles like the rest of the other prisoners who where his family and friends. So then Rey noticed Tala walking over to him, when Tala got there, Rey asked why he was leaving with them, Talan remained silent. So after a brief moment of silence, Rey finally finds out why, which led to the conclusion that he was the one who told the soldiers where the Chief’s secret path to Da-Chine would be, and that this attack too, also was staged by Tala. So when Rey asked him why he did it, Tala just replied “For our right…..our right to stay on this land” so in response Rey asked what did he mean, since Tala knew this story , and Rey hardly remembered it, Tala decided to refresh his memory. “About 150 years ago, this entire land, no continent once belonged to many tribes before the “Settlers” showed up, who were a group of people that showed with six brothers who were sons of a king from land far to the east which was mostly ruled by their king, and so the six brothers wanted to conquer a land of their own so they came west in hopes of new land, eventually they did, and when they, it was our land, at first, when the first nomadic people met them, they were at peace at first, and gave them some of their land, but soon many followed the brothers, and when they did, they desired more land, so then they stole their land, and more land from different tribes across this continent, slowly but surely the first country formed, known as Yama, with the oldest brother as it’s king, so eventually the remaining brothers formed their own countries, Yama, the first country that’s known for it’s size and military power, Inu the country the we are in, because of it’s location, it is home to many war’s and battles, Cibola the country that’s very weathly from the gold that’s found within the country, S’ai a desert wasteland with civilizations near an oasis, Ame the island country that’s poor because it’s surrounded by an ocean and there’s only one bridge to the main land, Jone’a the country that founded electricity. So in order to form their own countries, they needed land, so then they stole the land from us just to from their countries, which they claimed the land was already theirs, so with stolen land that already belong to somebody, the various tribes tried to fight for their land, which came to be known as the “blood Wars”, which we lost, and know there’s this war that’s going on with two more countries, and were caught in the middle, so right now……this burning village is one of the many sacrifices I’m willing to take to full-fill my master-plan to restore our people’s right to the land.” after being told this, Rey readied himself for a fight, so in response, Tala just laughed telling him that it would be pointless, so when Tala noticed the boy Rey was carrying, he told Rey that the boy would die, and his only chance for survival would the same hospital they were taking their chief to in Da-Chine, after a few moments later with a bruise cheek, from his fight with Tala, Rey decides to play it safe and go to Da-Chine.

[spoiler=Soul Chronicle: Debt Chapter 3-Welcome to the world]

While Rey is riding to Da-Chine, he knows that the boy he’s carrying isn’t going to make it, so then Rey prays to one of his tribe’s god, who are known as spirits, Anubus the spirit of death, who is said to foresee a persons faith, and also watches over the dead. With Rey praying to him to keep the boy’s life, which he got his prayer granted, although he wasn’t aware of it, but not by Anubus, but by Seth, the spirit of destruction, who is to be the reason for many disasters. So out of pitty for the child, Seth then selected the boy as host, which is a living person a spirit can select to possess, although a spirit can select a host whenever they please, they can only leave when the host dies, but they can leave whenever they please when it comes to a object as a host. So out of pitty for the child, since he knew his time was near, Seth decided to toy with his life, which he soon regret it, then to Rey’s fear, he didn’t feel a pulse in the boy, but he felt a pulse again a few moments later, which he was relieved. When he stopped the horse, it was on top of a cliff, over looking the town of Da-Chine, but to Rey’s surprise, it was huge to be a town, but more like city that was layered into 3sections by 4 huge walls, with one being on the outside of the town, which Rey figured it most be part of their defensive measures, so the next he did was to ride over the main gate of Da-Chine, and when he got there, he was stopped by 10 guards, and ahead of the guards was a man named Lance O’naw who then told him to turn around and go home, so after a few moments of arguing, Rey finally told him why he came here, so then after a few quiet moments, Lance then decided to let the boy into the town’s hospital, so when Rey was about to thank him, Lance told him that only the boy was allowed into the town, which then freaked out Rey because he was fully aware that his tribe has been causing Da-Chine the most amount of problems for many years, so another agrument broke out and ending with Lance telling him that they could go with his one ideal, or they guards could just kill them both on the spot. So with being left without much options, Rey played it safe. So after a while of thinking on how to get inside the town, chance came by. A merchant came by walking and was let inside the town, and with the big heavy gates closing behind him, Rey saw his chance and made a mad dash towards the gate, barely making it with the main closing behind him. With him being new to the town, and it being so huge, Rey was completely lost, eventually he found the hospital in Da-Chine, and to his surprise, there was only one hospital out of the entire town. When he entered the building, he seen different hallways leading to different directions, so he then ran down a hall at random, but was stopped short by a security guard, was about to thrown out, when he overheard two nurses talking about a boy that came in couple minutes ago, and were asking for information from the front desk. Curious that it might be the boy he brought here, he told the nurses that he may know the boy they were talking about, so after being released from the security guard, Rey was taken into another room where he seen the boy. The nurse then took Rey outside to the hallway, and told him that they need to do surgery on the boy, and if they did, there was a risk that the boy may lose his memory, so the nurse left Rey alone from to think to about. A few minutes later. The same nurse as before came back to Rey with a doctor, then without letting the doctor saying anything, he told the doctor he’ll agree to do surgery, so then the Doctor then gave Rey a form to sign out, stating that he agreed to do the surgery, and all he had to do was sign it, which then came Rey’s biggest fear, although he can read, he just couldn’t write. So then an argument broke out between the doctor and Rey, each backing up their claim of their argument with Rey saying that he’s just a kid, while the doctor saying that today is her retirement day, and the last thing she wanted today was work, since she been looking forward to this day since she first started her job. So out of nowhere, there came a voice behind Rey saying “Do it!”. When Rey Turned around to who it was, he seen a richly dressed man.

[spoiler=Soul Chronicle: Debt Chapter 4-Debt]

As the richly dressed man who introduced himself as Bei Han. Bei Han walked over to Rey to see what the problem was, so in response to his question, Rey told him what happened, then Bei Han looked over to the doctor, and started walking over to her, and from what Rey could hear, the two were arguing.

A few moments later.

Bei Han told Rey that he’ll pay for the surgery with his own money, but also telling Rey that he’ll have to pay him back later. Relived to have most of his problems finally resolved, the tired Rey decided to take a short nap, trying to kill some time while the surgery was underway, but when he closed his eye, he was out cold, and what kept appearing in his mind was his burning village, his friends, and family running and screaming, and his older brother Tala, telling him why he betrayed the tribe, and himself. When he awoke from his dream in cold sweat, he realized that only 4 hours went by, with 6 more hours to go until the surgery was over, Rey decided to roam the night-life of Da-Chine. While walking he found a set a of crates stacked on top of each other, all leading up to the top of a fairly large building, thinking to himself that he could make it, Rey made a mad dash towards the stacked crates, counting to himself “4!3!2!-” BWAAM!! The next thing Rey seen was the sky staring back at him, and with his head hurting, suspecting that he must’ve fallen off.

A hour later

After a hour of trying to overcome the obstacle that was ahead of him. Rey finally made it to the top of the crates, and with the view around him, Rey was astonished by the scenery of the lit up district around him. Very fascinated by the people walking around the streets that was lit up by candles, and torches. Rey seen a family walking together, looking like they were having fun, something that brought Rey back to a certain flashback of him once rescuing his older brother Tala, from a raid from a rival tribe, where their numbers would be considered large by Rey’s standard’s, and as a reward for doing that, Rey was given a head-band that was considered of high honor, which was only given out only few generations. And the way to earn the head band is to defend something dear to that person, even if it cost’s that person’s life. And the thought brought tears to Rey’s eyes. Trying to get rid of the thought of his “Treacherous” brother out of his head, Rey decided to jump to the next building that was about 5-7 feet from the building he was, which what be considered far for Rey’s height, which was about 5’6. Running at full speed towards the gap, Rey had barely made it. But when he did, Rey felt a surge of adrenaline coursing through his veins, which made Rey feel alive. With the adrenaline wearing away, Rey wanted to keep it going, so then Rey decided to make the jump again, but this time adding a “little trick” to it.

A few moments later.

Making it again, but a couple inches further than his last attempt. Wanting to keep the feeling alive, Rey literally kept leaping across buildings doing various tricks.

6 hours later.

With the surgery almost done, Rey decides to head back to the hospital, but when he arrived, it was in chaos, with people running everywhere. When Rey went to the waiting room outside of the operation room, a nurse told Rey that the surgery was a success, but when Rey asked why the hospital is in disarray, the nurse told Rey that that when Bei Han seen the medical bill, he had a heart-attack, since he was about in his 70’s.

A couple day’s later.

Rey was thrown in jail, and was being taken to court, where he found out why. Which the reason was that Bei Han was the “Current” king of Inu, said he’ll for the boy’s surgery, Bei Han had a heart attack, which the medical bill was $500 (which what be considered expensive for them), and so a couple of doctors performed on him, but he died. Lost in the confusion, Rey asked what it all meant, the judge who was easily irritated, yelled “It means that since the king!! Bei Han!!! Said he’ll pay for the surgery, but he also told you that YOU!! Have to pay him back! But since he’s dead, you know owe that money to our government!!! But not only do you have to pay for the boy’s medical bill, but you also have to pay for Bei Han’s bill as well!!!”

A couple days later.

When the boy was let out of the hospital, Rey just sighed, since he also remembered the judge saying that neither the boy, or him can’t leave the town without permission. Still pretty ticked at that, Rey asked for the kid’s name, which the kid said he couldn’t remembered, so then Rey asked him “uh…..how about ‘Akira’?” which the kid nodded yes. “then uh…… how about ‘Runner’ for a last name?” Rey asked, which the kid nodded yes again. Then Rey introduced himself as “Rey Mist.”

Rey who was thinking how to raise a kid, thought he needed to change his lazy ways, and try to give “Akira” a better future.

[spoiler=Soul Chronicle: Debt Chapter 5-Akira Runner]

6 years later, the boy that Rey once saved from the burning village is now known as Akira Runner.

With Akira standing in front of a grave that was marked “Rey Mist”, where Akira then pulled out Rey’s prized possession Rekki-Maru, whiched Rey gave to Akira before he died, whom Akira considered his only friend, and family. Akira then pulled out Rekki-Maru, with the feeling of not wanting to live anymore, after being so left out, and alone, because of who he is, and where he comes from.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A couple days earlier.

Akira who was looking for any jobs, but was kept getting denied for any jobs because who he is, and where he comes, eventually found himself sweeping the busy streets of Da-Chine, where people purposely throw garbage his way. Tired of doing this, Akira was about to quit when a mysterious man in black confronted Akira from behind,

“You must be Akira…..?”

“Yeah? And who’s asking” said Akira, who wasn’t bothering to turn around to who it was.

“There’s much to know, with so little time. But you understand so little”

“Alright! What do you want from me!?” Replied Akira, who finally turned around to see who it was.

“I offer you freedom.”

“Freedom….?” as the term rang in his head, Akira decided to hear the man out.

“As you already know, you cannot leave this town, you owe this town…..a large sum of money. So if you want to leave this town, why not join the military….?” said the mysterious man, as he started to walk away.

“The military? Hey wait I’m talking to you!”

“Remember Akira, you can never forget who you are, and know you can never run away from it?

“Come back here!” shouted Akira, who then started to chase the mysterious man, but lost him in the flood of people.

Thinking he should try the man out, Akira then quit his job, then made his way to a military outpost that was located in Da-Chine, but as he walked through the main doors, Akira was quickly thrown out, being told that he had to qualify for the military, by going to another building to join up for the military. After many hours of trying to look for this “Building” Akira had finally found it, which was just down the street of the same building he was kicked out earlier. Where when he walked through the front doors, everyone looked at him, and were surprised to see him there. So Akira was making his way up to the front desk to try out for the military, where people who were in line ahead of him were letting Akira pass ahead of them saying things such as “Up this way ‘Chief’!” which Akira thought they were just being generous, but he couldn’t figure out the fact that they were really all mad at him.

So when Akira made his way to the front desk, The front desk attendant reluctantly asked him what was his business here, Akira who cheerfully said “ I’m here to sign up for the military.” then everyone who was in earshot of him were surprised, an in disbelief. When the attendant heard this, he declined his offer, because of who he is, and where he comes from. Akira who was about to argue with the guy then heard a voice behind the attendant saying “Give him a form.” then the attendant who looked like he was irritated then said “Yes sir.” Then the guy behind the attendant introduced himself as Yasu Nan, who stood there studying Akira for a while, then to reply to him, Akira said “Hey, could you stop looking at me? Your starting to freak me out.” Yasu Nan, who was anger by his remarked then told him to shut up, and follow him.

A couple moments later.

Akira, who couldn’t read or write had his form all filled out courtesy of Yasu Nan.

A couple days later.

Akira had his chance to join up for the military, and all he needed to do was to pass these two exams, 1.) being to pass physical exam, which was obstacle course, which Akira could pass with no problem, 2.) was a written test, which the problem was that Akira couldn’t read or write. Which led Akira to failing the exams many times, since a individual needs to ace both exams.

A couple days later.

While Akira was heading to the bank of Da-Chine to see how much money he had left, he was encountered by Silva and his twin sons Uno, and Dos , who was ahead of the written part of the exam, and also didn’t take to lightly about Akira joining the military.

[spoiler=Soul Chronicle: Debt Chapter 6- Akira's Secret]

When Akira seen Silva and his sons walking towards him, Akira assumed that they must want trouble, so Akira, who didn’t considered himself a coward, walked toward the same direction as Silva, but was going to ignore them to avoid any trouble they wanted.

Uno, who was the nearest towards Akira, shoved his shoulder into Akira while he was passing him, into a merchants stall.

“What’s wrong Akira? Your not going to fight-back this time, or are you going to stay in the ground like the ‘Savage‘ you are?” smirked Uno

“…..…”

“C’mon Akira get up and fight back.” shouted Dos

“Grrr…….”

“So your not going to show us some of that ‘Savage’ anger of yours?” replied Silva. “Or your not going to fight back because of that debt of yours”

“Grrrr…..” replied Akira, who was still lying on the ground after being pushed in the merchants stall. “*Haaah!!*” *WHAAM!!!*

The next thing Dos noticed was his older brother, Uno lying on the ground unconscious with a rock next to his head, and Akira right next to him, standing in front of his father, Silva. The next thing Dos seen was Akira smirking , and a elbow blow to his father’s face.

“*Heh*…..the only reason that I didn’t kill you is because of this debt.” replied Akira, then started to walk away.

“Dos!” whispered Silva. Nodding to a signal his father gave. Akira started to walk away, when he a sound of a yell, and looked behind him, and was surprised to find Yasa Nan behind him.

“*Hpmh* attacking someone from behind? that’s really low, especially for you Silva.”

“What!?” replied Akira “Why you--”

“Hold it Akira. Let’s just leave here quietly. I may be part of the military, but that doesn’t mean I can do whatever I want. Isn’t that right…..Silva?” replied Yasu Nan

“……..”

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Couple Days Later

With Akira standing in front of a grave that was marked “Rey Mist”, Akira then pulled out Rey’s prized possession Rekki-Maru, whiched Rey gave to Akira before he died, whom Akira considered his only friend, or family. Akira then pulled out Rekki-Maru and whispered “Sorry I couldn‘t get your killer, but I guess this should do” in tears, since he felt he shouldn’t deserve to live, especially since he killed the only the family he had, and would always be blamed for crimes he never committed, which convinced Akira to end his life. While Akira was going to thrust Rekki-Maru into his body, Akira stopped himself right before he stabbed himself, telling himself he couldn’t do it. “Heh…..your always too kind-hearted Rey…..”

“Your always too kind-hearted Rey!” “OOOHHH!!”

When Akira turned around to see who it was that was saying that, Akira was surprised to Dos behind him, and a club coming towards his face.
