*Six Samurai*support pack 2.0. EDITED

It´s been a while and i thougth a lot about the last sixsams support. Its not like sixsams need many cards, (cause they already have many support) but what they need its more special summon engine (and more abuse of the bushido counters) thats why i maded this 2.0. version of it:

 

 

SPELLS/TRAP

 

Medal of Courage and Dedication

Spell - Equip

Equip only to a "Six Samurai" monster. It gains 500 ATK and DEF When the equipped monster attacks, put 1 Bushido Counter on it. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, Remove 2 Bushido Counters from the Field instead. When this face-up card on the field is sent to the Graveyard, select and Special Summon 1 "Six Samurai" Monster from your Graveyard.

The Honor of Self-Sacrifice

Trap - Continous

Each time a "Six Samurai" monster is removed from the Field. Put 1 Bushido Counter on this card. Once per turn, you can take 1 Bushido Counter of this card and place it in other card on the Field. If this card is destroyed you can search for 1 "Six Samurai" or "Shien" monster in your Deck and Special Summon on the Field. The Lvl of the summoned monster has to be equal to the amount of Bushido Counter(s) that this card had.

 

Artwork idea: Zanji opening his arms to recieve an attack protecting other six samurai (maybe yaichi or envoy)

 

Ritual of the Six Blades

Spell - Ritual

This card is used to Ritual Summon any "Six Samurai" Ritual Monster. You must also Tribute monsters from the field or your hand whose total Level Stars equal the Level of the Ritual Monster you are attempting to Ritual Summon.

 

Artwork idea: The symbol of "Six samurai" in the ground, every circle holds the weapon of every six samurai, in the center Hand of the six samurai is praying in front of a big flame who enlight the lines of the six samurai symbol

 

Spirit of Loyalty

Trap - Normal

If you have a "Six Samurai" monster in your Hand, show it to your oponnent. Your opponent cannot declare an attack this turn. Special Summon 1 "Six Samurai Token" (Warrior-Type/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 2000) in Defense Position on your side of the field. (The Token count as a "Six Samurai" monster.)

 

Artwork idea: A spiritual form of Chamberlain of the six samurai (with the little flames on their side, classic form of the spirits or ghosts in japan) on his knees in a signal of respect

Level: 2

[Warrior/Effect]

When this card is Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Six Samurai" monster from your hand. While you control at least 1 other "Six Samurai" card, your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target. Increase the ATK of all "Six Samurai" or "Shien" monsters on your side of the field by 500 points.

Artwork idea: A revealed form of the girl of the card "Shien Spy" showing some mechanical parts of the six samurai in some sort apparience of a Kunoichi, it could be nice if she keep using his hat and her weapons could be some kind of "kunai with chains" with a mechanical/light modifications

 

Disciple of The Six Samurai - Tomoe

WATER

Level: 4

[Warrior/Gemini]

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

● Each time a "Six Samurai" monster is Normal or Special Summoned, place 1 Bushido Counter on this card (max. 2). If you do, this card gains 200 ATK. You can remove 1 Bushido Counter from this card to return 1 card from the field to its owner's hand.

Artwork idea: I create her inspired in the history of "Tomo Gozen" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomoe_Gozen so maybe she could have a sort of six samurai armor, with a bow in her back., without helmet revealing her long her (like irou). The idea of this card its to feels that even she looks weak she in fact can be more strong that any other.

 

Nobu - Shien´s Emmisary

WIND

Level: 5

[Warrior/Effect]

You can discard this card to the Graveyard to add 1 "Gateway of the Six" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. This card's name is treated as "Six Samurai" while it is face-up on the field or in the Graveyard.

ATK/ 2300

DEF/ 1000

 

Artwork idea: A Samurai without his helmet, Bald, dark-green armor, blue line/lights with a vertical flag in his back (see Banner of The Six) who also have the six samurai logo.Nobu should be riding the ebon steed or a similar horse. Also i create this card inspired in "Oda Nobunaga" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nobunaga

 

The Six Samurai Army - "Honou"

LIGHT

Level: 8

[Warrior/Ritual/Effect]

This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card "Ritual of the Six Blades". If this card destroys your opponent's monster by battle, it can attack once again in a row. Once per turn you can remove Bushido Counters (max. 2) from the Field to destroy cards on the field by the number of counters removed from the field. If you activate this effect, this card cannot attack during this turn.

Artwork idea: A front view improved versions of Yariza, Yaichi, Zanji and Grandmaster in front all of the riding horses (like Ebon) with flags like the one i described for Nobu, in a possition like they were riding they horses and making a battle-cry (a good detail could be that grandmaster could be using his old armor from Gozen Match)

 

Shien - Lord of the Six Samurai

FIRE

Level: 7

[Warrior/Ritual/Effect]

This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card "Ritual of the Six Blades". When this card is Ritual Summoned, destroys all the opponent's Spell/Trap Cards on the field negating their activation. If this card would be destroyed, you can send one "Six Samurai" monster from you hand to the graveyard instead.

ATK/ 2600

DEF/ 2500

 

Artwork idea: Shien without his helmet and with all the chest and arms parts of his red armor destroyed, revealing some mechanical parts in his arms (kind of the style of the six samurai maybe with red colors and blue lights) and in his chest some kind of a circular power supply that contains a blue flame (like a boilder) and from that part all the mechanism of their arms are powered (the glass door that contains the blue flame could have de signs of the six samurai); The pieces of his old armor must be in the ground and his old helmet damaged in the right down corner; And the sword could be powered like a light engine version of his old sword of the card "Tenkabito Shien".

 

 

Please give me opinions, OCG corrections, rating, etc...

 

EDIT4(i think): i tried to make not much broken the effects and the boss ones i made it ritual to avoid of losing field presence.

First thing I'd like to say is the artwork ideas are very interesting and it was fun imagining in my head, and it allowed me to actually consider it as a real card, props on that.

 

My opinion on the fusions is that they're not necessary. The fusions themselves and are very underpowered in comparison to the Gladiator Beast contact fusion monsters. I agree more abusiveness on Bushido Counters is good, but don't involve fusions with them.

 

OCG fixes:

(Envoy of the Six Samurai)

Your OCG: "While at least 1 other "Six Samurai" monster exists on your side of the field"

Fixed: "While you control at least 1 other "Six Samurai" card"

 

(Fervent Battlefield)

Your OCG: "None Monster Card (except for Warrior-Type monster)

can increase their ATK points."

Somewhat Fixed: "Non-warrior type monsters effect's which include increasing the ATK points of a monster is negated"
