It was a dark, eerie night. No one wanted to be outside, not one soul. The owls' howling was the only sound that could be heard outside of the game shop. If anyone was there, they could never tell that the shop was still occupied. They would never guess that at that moment, there were three men inside the shop, discussing what was the most important ancient artifact ever. An artifact that could bring back the nightmares that people of ancient times had been having for a century. They were discussing the card.

"Did you make sure it is hidden safely?" Solomon Muto asked for the third time

"I beg of you, sir, to stop asking me that question. Yes, I guarantee it is still in tact and well hidden," replied a hunched man in a tuxedo.

"Good. Now, remember, that card could decide the fate of the world! If it ever fall into the wrong hands I will be holding you personally responsi..."

"I understand, Mr. Muto! I should have your fullest trust! I am fully aware of what the card is capable of: reviving any spirit in the universe! And I am absolutely aware of your main concern: you think it will bring back Thief Bakura!" the man shouted as he flailed his arms around.

As he was thrashing about, something peculiarly strange happened; something that will change the world forever. Solomon Muto saw it. He saw the card gleaming in the con man's sleeve.

Solomon grabbed the man's arm, pulled it towards him, and ripped out the card from within his sleeve. "You call this safe, thief?!"

"Give me back the card, Solomon!"

"Never!"

"I will order you once and only once more: GIVE..." the hunched man straightened his back as his voice suddenly got deeper, "ME...", he had now thrown off his tuxedo, revealing an old yet strong body underneath, "THE...", the man's pupils disappeared as he extended his arm and choked Solomon Muto, "CARD!"

Solomon dropped the card and fainted, just after one second of the monster's dreaded grip. He couldn't do anything at all as the creature ran out of the building, screaming just as he disappeared, "The fallen will rise!"
