What does everyone think about Eccentric Boy?

 

ATK/DEF: 800/200

Effect: When using this card as a Synchor Material Monster, the other Synchro Material Monster is 1 in your hand. The Synchro Monster that used this card as a Synchro Material Monster cannot activate it's effect, it's effect(s) is negated, and it is removed from play when it is removed from the field.

 

My Opinion: Well, it can be quite useful. It's like fusion all over again, except you can't use the effects of the Synchro monster.

 

The card definately makes Synchro Summons a little bit easier, especially if you're going for a deck that uses "Assault Mode Activate", or any of the 2 Majestic Dragon Monsters.

 

Although, I find it strange that they had to describe that "the effects of the Synchro are negated" Twice in Eccentric Boy's Effect. (Hence the Phrases "The Synchro Monster that used this card as a Synchro Material monster cannot it's effect." "it's effect(s) is negated.")

Useless outside of SDD/AM, and I'd rather not run it there.

Instead of -1 from the field, you -1 yourself from teh hand.

 

Its effectivly the same thing.

And you can't use floaters.

Only good in assault decks, of which stardust is the only worthwhile one. So yeah, what that other guy said.

Not worthwhile.

Just stick with regualar Tuners for the effect.
