ATTENTION DUELISTS! MY HAIR WOULD LIKE TO KNOW...

If anyone hasn't seen yet, there are comercials (at least on Cartoon Network) about the yugioh nationals, you can win a trip for 4, all the cards made in 2010, a duel with the nat. champ, $1,000, and the chance to make your own card.

what are your predictions on what the custom card will be?

 

If it's some kid who knows nothing about the game who wins, the card will be some crap with neos and dark magician, if a Meta player, a Blackwing Monster/Lightsworn/Zombie, or a casual player, some sort of support for a forgotten archtype, or an absolute n00b it will be an instant game winner, that get's the whole Not Useable in Duels treatment...

For the chance of making a card, I suppose the people of written cards section can give good ideas; I've heard some of them are good at this. I can contribute with artwork, so the card doesn't use a pic from google or a render from Planetrenders...

you know me, I'll remake neo into a decent spellcaster with a counter effect, and a grave effect that places a spellcaster into your hand from the grave at the cost of removing itself from the grave., so it isn't broken, but good enough so that everyone would want it.

there's a contest you enter, the details are in the Cartoon Network comercial, which I havn't seen today, but you don't appear to have to even win or participate in the tourny.
