Daisuke had a couple days to rest to heal his wounds a bit.

 

Takako had a few days to train.

 

One was somewhat healed, but tired, one was very tired, and quite healed (Torabari = teh shiz)

 

Also, yeah, that's why they weren't at their max. :3
