The World Riding Grand Prix or initials WRGP, is a future tournament to be held on New Domino City within the series Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. The Yliaster group is using the prestigious WRGP for a more sinister purpose. The tournament will be occurring in exactly one year, and can only be entered through groups of 3 persons each.

 

- In accordance with the Grand Prix Turbo Duels: rather than being a 1-on-1 duel, it will be conducted through groups and each teams shares a pool of 12000 life points in each Duel. If one person on the team is to lose (by having their third of the 12000 life points wiped out), all remaining cards on the field of that person are moved, if applicable, to the field of the next person on the team to duel.

 

While switching persons due to a loss, the winner of the duel continues to run laps, and gains 1 Speed Counter per lap until they reach the maximum, 12. At this point, the team switching players instead loses 1 Speed Counter per lap; if their total reaches 0, they lose the match.

 

If a person is sent to the pits (for any reason) by notice of their team, they lose all Speed Counters, but do not lose the duel or match; whether or not the remaining person gains Speed Counters per lap in this case is unknown and unconfirmed as of now.

 

Lastly, the duels will also be done on Manual Mode, rather than with the Auto-Pilot.

 

It was also because of the Grand Prix that the unique Field Spell Card, "Speed World", was upgraded to "Speed World 2", which is an official card for this tournament.

[spoiler=Bio:] A quiet famous prodigy duelist from Europe. Dueling has been a part of his life since very childhood, since his parents were former Europe Championship top duelists, Susanna Himalaiya and Andore Himalaiya. His father, Andore was a Japanese origin man who moved to Europe to live with his wife. They both made their living by dueling until they got their little Saizen, and started to make their living by doing proper jobs and lived their chipper life, teaching their little child the card game they also loved. Then one unfortunate day, a horrible accident happened during a rush hour in the middle of the city. The whole three headed family were driving through the city from work and school to get home as a truck that had jumped the red lights hit them, clashing on the side of the car. The accident leaded to two dead adults and to one poor 8-year old orphan boy. At that moment, as the little boy, Saizen cried out loud for his parents, the mark of the dragon appeared on his arm.

 

Saizen got adopted by his grandma and lived with her until he turned 17 and then, with the money he had inherited from his parents, bought and moved to his own place with his friends, they also had a garage they got to park and store their D-Wheels and stuff. Saizen continued dueling getting fame as he showed really good skills. About a year after he had moved to his place, dueling solo and doing ground duels while getting used to and practicing Riding Duels, he heard about the serious composition prizes of the Tag-Team Riding Duels and fame following the victorious teams and their members not to mention all the already famous names and skillful players known around the world. Obviously, Saizen didn't want to miss this chance to meet the pros among the pros and after the very next days he had already left his application to different Tag-Team groups that were searching for members, and after a week he had got his first invitations for a Riding tests and meeting dates. Soon he had got to his first team, and started to train and duel more and more Tag-Team Riding Duels, learning team-play, his name getting even more known around the world. After time, he got more invitations to even more famous teams around the world. He then found a team he felt the most comfy in as like he was a part of some little family and finally participating to the WRGP. He has been a part of his current team for a half a year now, and has planned to not move to another for a long time. The mark of the dragon he carries upon his arm has been with him for almost 10 years now. Saizen is still puzzled about it since he hasn't figured out why had the mark appeared on his arm in the first place and what is it's purpose in the first place. Until now he hasn't met a single person who'd own a mark like his. And besides the fact it appeared on his arm on that day, it has never acted abnormally so it hasn't been on the top of Saizen's mind. Whenever someone asked him about it, he'd just say it was a tattoo or a very special birthmark and that was about the same even Saizen has been thinking about it on the present days.

 

His deck is based on ATK/DEF manipulation and the ace, Mad Dread Dragon got to Saizen's hands as a reward from the Kaiba Corporation when he had won a tournament a few years ago on one of his tournament trips to America. "Very exceptional reward just for a talented duelist like you're", the guy had said when Saizen was handed the card which felt a bit suspicious since Saizen didn't really feel himself too special but didn't really mind back then nor does it make any importance to Saizen these days either.

Appearance: White, Slim and Black haired. He has Golden yellow eyes and A Birthmark other then his Signer mark below his Right eye in the shape of a Triangle. His Non duel running clothing consists of a White top with the Number 51 printed onto it and a Pair of Jeens with Nice trainers. His duel runner Clothing is A Black with silver Trimed leather Jacket and leather Trowsers with the same Colours. Also with Boots and his Duel runners helmet which is Silver entirly.

Normal Duel Deck(s): He uses a Twilight deck, Which depends on The unity of Lightsworns and Various DARK Attribute monsters; Supported by his special "Twilight" Archtype cards.

Turbo Duel Deck(s): He then uses a Moderfyed verson of Twilight so he can Use Speed world 2 instead of the Normal field spell he uses on ground Duels "Deux Ex Twilight". Also, this deck has Support for synchroing his Signer dragon, Stardust Dragon.

Bio: Ryozei was born outside Domino city, In a Middle class Family which both his Parents worked. Though his mother worked only Half-Time, His father full time. He is the eldest Child in the family, his Sister 2 years younger then him. His father before him lead to be before adulthood a Great duelist at Duel acdamia, Unfortunaly falling to Dark events there but redeemed himself later by Aiding to stop the dark Forse.

 

Back to Ryozei, He inhereted his Fathers dueling skill and about the age of 6 he Got his first deck. It was just a Basic Exxod deck and soon later went to his Citys duel accadamia which he Desided to rebuild his deck. Though, every stragety he used failed him. Rettilians, Dectruction, Zombies. They never worked. Then, at the age of 13, Industeral illusions; Which was a part of Kaibacorp launched a Contest to create a New archtype to combine two Oppersit Attributes.

 

Ryozei entered with the Twilight series and after 4 months of Judgeing; He won First place. His prize; His cards created exclusey for him and a Chance to compete in the Junior leages. he too the chance, Supported by his Mother Nova and his Dad Kana. The twilights worked greatly and he Soon became to be considered Champion material. Though, One night a encounter with the Underground Shock duels late at night lead him to unlock his Crimson dragon mark. The head mark appeared during the duel and appeared thoughout the city and even Crashed the Engdy Generator.

 

Though, he never knew it happened. he coplased During the event and never saw it. All he has of that is the Dragon birthmark and a Mysterious new card; Stardust dragon. Now, 18 he has Saved up for a Stylish d-wheel which he has Called "Generation 5" and now is going to Compete in the World Riding Grand Prix so he can get back to his Dueling Carear.

Duel Runner: A white version of Crow's Blackbird with red lightnings painted on it's sides and wings.

Duel Disk: A standard white 5D's Duel Disk with red trim.

Appearance: He wears a gray tuque, covering his shoulderlength, blonde hair. Underneath he wears a brown, armless shirt covered by a light brown, armless coat. He also wears blue, baggy pants, a belt and black gloves. A smile always covers his face and he has sparkling, green eyes. During Turbo Duels, he wears a white jumpsuit and a matching helmet with red trim.

Bio: Jim never met his mother, since she died at his birth. He also never met his father, or knows who he is for that matter. Since he didn't have any known relatives at his birth except his mother, he was orphaned and later adopted by the comedian Roger Murphy. Jim quickly grew up to be a funny pal, learning from his "father", but he also quickly became a good duelist, but he's far from one of the best in NDC. Now, to get some money he is competing in the WRGP and is currently looking for teammates.

Appearance: He is pale skinned with shorts and a t-shirt on. They are usually wrinkled, though during the tornament days where he plays he shall force himself to iron it. He hair is also a jumbled mes because he feels like he has better things to do than tidy his hair. During turbo duels he wears a more covering outfit, but he refuses to wear a jumpsuit or something of the like. Usually a blue shirt and blue long paints. Plus a blue helmat

Bio: Satoshi and Satoko Daimon are the twin heirs to Daimon Industries, a leading manufacturer of Duel Runners and parts. But, unknown to most of the public, Satoshi and Satoko are actually the same person. "Sato-" manages the facade by using body doubles for his alter egos. Even though he is technically Satoshi, Sato- has no idea what to make his real gender, and therefore underwent a special operation to become none until he could decide.

Until then, the "twins" swap out between directing the pit crew for Team Banzai Bukaru and dueling as a team member.

At the age of 13, Tyson was sent to the Facility for stealing a whole bunch of Dragon-Type cards. Yliaster went to the Facility and promised to allow one prisoner to be freed. The only catch was that the prisoners had to take place in a dueling tournament, in which Tyson won. They awarded Tyson his freedom and all of the cards he had stolen. Yliaster's true purpose for going to the Facility was to pick see if Tyson really was a Signer, and he was. Tyson is a cruel duelist, who loves to make his opponents squirm with powerful cards.
