[align=center][spoiler=Plot]In 1996 the United States Government released news on a new vaccine they were working on. The vaccine project, which was given the nickname "Project Blue", was initiated so that citizens would never have to get another flu shot again. Although, hospitals refused to use it while it was still in testing, there were testing stations all around the U.S., where you could volunteer to be one of the test subjects. Around 150,274,652 people volunteered. Within 3 months of people being injected with the vaccine, their were reports of volunteer's acting with a rage that was not like their normal selves, hurting those they loved the most. Within 6 months of the testing, people's bodies began to "decay", as if they were dead. This sent shock waves of mass-hysteria through the minds of American Citizens, and other Countries Governments that were going to test the exact formula put their testing on hold. Finally, within 8 months, the tested began to lash out at others physical, lost the ability to speak, and their teeth became extraordinarily sharp. They bit other people, usually aiming for their necks.

 

Now, because of a simple flu shot, the United States is facing their own Apocalypse, and other Countries are ignoring it as if it were just a small Civil War.

 

You are one of Survivors. Nearly 83% of America has become one of the sick Monsters. You must work with the other Survivors to escape New York City, where you are all being held captive by these monsters.

[spoiler=Mutant Species List][spoiler=Human]The Human Mutants are generally slow and always travel in large hordes of 6-120. The have the appearance of a decaying body.

[spoiler=Lynx]The Lynx Mutants still retain the appearance of a Human Mutant, that of a decaying body, though they move much faster, and can run at the speeds of an Average human male of 23.

[spoiler=Flicker]The Flicker Mutants have been bestowed with somewhat of a super-power, Flicker Mutants cannot be killed, at all, even if you blow them to bits, there arms and legs will still move.

[spoiler=Ghoul]The Ghoul Mutants retain their human ability's, though they have the appearance of a Lynx Mutant, they usually attempt to travel with the humans, although many are killed prior to even speaking with them.

[spoiler=Queens]Queens take the appearance of a human female, so that humans will not attack them, and usually get close enough to humans so that they are distracted and other Mutants can attack. Queens are not very combat able, but have a screeching sound that they emit if they need the help of their horde.

Biography: He was born into a Middle Class family living in Lewiston, New York. Around the time he was 12, his sister, Catherine, came home late from a "night of partying". She was 16, and his father had been extraordinarily happy when she had come home, until Ricky, a man she had met while she was out with her friends, walked through the door. His father simply said "Hello there." and retreated into his room for a few minutes. Lawrences family began to greet Ricky, until his father came back into the room with a pistol, and shot Ricky. Lawrence's mother called the police, who quickly arrested his father. Then, because his Mother needed the Job, they moved to New York, where they have been until now. His Mother and Sister got the Vaccine during it's testing, but he did not, luckily, seeing as he was sick the week where you could Volunteer.

Sorry I took so long.

Biography: Sean was a very respectful and intelligent person. He had many friends and they always gave him support when they needed it. That was until 1996, and 5 months after his Sweet 16 party. All of his friends volunteered to take the new vaccine that wasn't yet approved by the government. Sean did not volunteer due to his fear of needles. 3 months later, it was reported that all of his friends went into an uncontrollable rage and killed their own parents. The next 3 months, Sean's life changed forever when he saw all of his friends' bodies decaying. He ran for his life, warning everyone around him about what had happened. It was believed that Sean was the first to experience the appearance of these creatures. Now, he is captured by his used-to-be friends along with others and will do anything to end this apocalypse once and for all.

"Wait!" shouted Kirimono as he got in Viero's way. "Drop your weapon, Viero." Shadows can be destroyed by a mere blast of light. So... "Burst of Light!" Kirimono blasted the shadow with the attack and the shadow disintegrated, leaving its weapon behind. Kirimono picks it up and turns to Viero. "This could be useful to you in a later time. Take it." Kirimono gave Viero the dagger. He turned around to have seen a glowing symbol of an ice shard on a wall nearby. He slowly walked up to it. When Kirimono touched it, the part of the wall opened up. What was inside was a fragment of sorts. "Could this be...?" "Yes," said a voice from behind him. Kirimono turned around in shock. It was the elder from before. Time began to freeze as the two began to talk. Kirimono didn't know it, though. "YOU!?" "That's right." "You said you didn't know where the fragment is!" "I meant to say i did know. I just wanted to see if you would solve my riddle." "Well, I did. Now tell me the next riddle." "Very well. The next fragment lies in the nation where the air moves in many directions and speeds. Good luck!" "Wait!" shouted Kirimono as the man disappeared and time begins to move again. He walked up to the others. "I have the next fragment! And I have a riddle to help find our next destination. The next fragment lies in a nation where the moves in different directions and speeds. Who knows what it means?"
