@Kaisu: The begining entrance of the Realm of the Dreams looks like a floating floor, and there is a backround of purple (yes, purple) stuff. There are also floating doors that have names on them, and are labeled DREAMS and NIGHTMARES.))

 

IC: Talia looked at the boy who had landed next to her. She rubbed her head, and winced in pain. When she had fallen out of the "portal", she had hurt herself. "Hello," Talia said quietly, giving him a shy smile. Talia turned around- something was bothering her. It seemed like she was being watched, or something related to that. She shook her head, and finally took notice of the Realm of the Dreams. "Look, you guys! This is amazing!" Talia exclaimed, a bit too loud for her liking. She blushed, and then went back to exploring. She ran up to a door, and read the small inscription on it. In capital letters, it read, "MADISON STONE ~ NIGHTMARES". Next to that door, there was another door that said, "MADISON STONE ~ DREAMS". Talia looked at the others. "Do you think we should look for one of our names on these doors?" Talia asked her new friends quizzically. She hoped they were her friends, at least.

Jason looked at the doors. He could see some of his dreams, mostly regulaur dreams and a few nightmares. He looked around. He also felt like he was being wacthed by someone. "Hey guys, go to your dreams, I'll stay behind..." Jason looked around and didn't see anything. He then started to walk towards one of the doors. He loked behind no one was there. He then noticed something move a little on his right, and headed towards the area.

"Here goes nothing", Yagami whispered to himself as he laid in his bed. The Realm of Dreams, such a scary, dangerous place. Yagami always was fascinated by the dream world and scientist finally unlocked their doors. Ofcourse the only way to enter was through this drug, which is quite fishy. Being interested in Lucid Dreaming for years, Yagami has his own hypothesis: His biology teacher mentioned that the secret of entering the Realm was to recognize you are dreaming, and ofcourse, that is the entire point of Lucid dreaming. The drug forces the sleeper to recognize a dream, thus forcing entry. After several attempts, Yagami has entered the Realm a few months ago. Things went wrong when he found himself instantly surrounded by black scorpions. All he remembered was that he dropped his notebook and instantly woke up. He was bitten and suffered memory loss.

For months, Yagami took a different drug that kept him from dreaming. Things changed when he was asked about his childhood and he realized: It was dark but he don't remember why! All he remembers are a series of poems linking him to his childhood...which he conveniently allowed to drop as Yagami escaped the Realm...so after a few months, Yagami decided to go after it:

He closed his eyes and waited for his body to fall asleep. This required practice; by laws of nature, the mind goes to sleep before the body. Once the body is asleep, then you go through the REM stage, which is the dream stage. It took mmany years for Yagami to master keeping conscious while the body went to sleep. Once it was asleep, he would close his eyes and enter his waiting dream.

Silence and darkness engulfed Yagami like a security blanket protecting him from the outside awaken world. After months without practice, Yagami almost forgot to remember to keep his mind awake. He feels his mind slipping, and his body has yet to enter the REM. Just when he thougth he would loose it, he felt vibrations and numbness took over. Its time...

Jay looked around, and blinked, and looked around again. Well...this doesn't make any sense. Truth be told, he was looking out over a vast area, comprised simply of a floor filled with purple items. Doors were floating all over the place, with words on them. Jay shook his head, trying to make sense of it. Looking around, he saw a girl (Talia). He ran over to her. "Hey...so...I'm guessing we're in the dream world then, huh?" And if we're not, I think I just might have to kill myself for going crazy.

Talia lookedat the boy who had ran over towards her- he had asked her where they were. She stood there for a second, trying to remeber- then it flew to her. "Oh- yeah, we're in the Realm of the Dreams. Sorry 'bout the pause there- I'm already Infected. Memory loss, obviously." Talia said, smiling friendlily at the boy. "Are you Infected yet?" Talia asked quizzically, walking over towards a door with her name on it. She motioned for the boy to follow her. "Oh, I forgot to say- my names, Talia, and you are...?" Talia asked him, running her hand along the door that said her name, and "DREAMS".

Jay nodded. "Yes, I am infected. My name's Jason, but everybody, and I mean everybody calls me Jay. Yeah, I'm infected. I get these strange, and completely random surges of energy and adrenaline. And, by the way, I kind of assumed that we were in the Realm of Dreams. I meant, where are we, like specific locations?" Jay looked at the door, labeled "Talia's Dreams." Looking at Talia, he blinked. "So...are we gonna go in there? And, what is there exactly, anyway?"

"I think, exactly, we are in the... I guess you could say 'Main Lobby'." Talia said jokingly, smiling at Jay. "I guess we're gonna go in there- let's hope I didn't dream anything you're not supposed to see." She said with a playful grin on her lips. She stared at the door, her hand on the knob, and for a few seconds, she didn't do anything at all except stand there, staring at her hand on the doorknob. Then, she remembered what to do. "Jeez, these memory loss things are getting worse and worse." Talia muttered, turning the knob, and opening up the door to her Dreams.

Jay laughed. He stepped forward with her, and paused, waiting for her to grab the knob. After a minute, she started, and reached out for it. Looking at her, he sighed. "You seem as if you're getting worse, don't you? I just wonder how bad I can get." Suddenly, Jay convulsed. A strange rush surged through him, causing his whole body to tingle, like it was being charged with electricity. After a moment, the feeling passed. Jay collapsed onto the ground, gasping. After a few minutes, Jay got back up, panting. "Sorry...but, well, now you know what it looks like when it happens to me."

Kaze saw Jason walking towards her and cursed under her breath. She looked both ways and decided it would be best to just to run than to try and act all innocent. So she ran, her cloak billowing behind her into a random door that read, 'Jason. NIGHTMARES' not knowing that was his door.

 

Jecht tapped his cane against one of the doorways. "Are we going into eachothers dreams one at a time or are we splitting up into our own doors?" He asked to nobody in particualr.

Talia looked at Jay, concerned. "You sure you're okay?" Talia said, and after a moment, she pushed open the wooden door. Her "Dream Land" was strange- it looked just like the "Main Lobby", as she called it, but this time, the doors said things like, "DREAM 001", and "DREAM 027". "Not much different then the room before- but stll really cool." Talia said with a grin. She looked around, and tried to find the door with the highest number- and she finally found it. It said, "DREAM 097". "Let's see this one- I think it's the most recent." Talia said- this time, she actually remembered how to open the door.

Out of the door, two people fell into the lobby. One was a sandy-haired young man who looked a bit geeky, especially with his glasses and lanky build, while the other was a very beautiful young woman with white-blonde hair, pale skin, and blood-red eyes, who had on a black and red version of a Japanese schoolgirl uniform.

"That's it! That's the last time I eat Nora's food before I go to sleep!" The nerdy guy yelled.

"What can you expect from a 7-year-old? She really doesn't know how to cook." The cute girl replied. "And it's your fault for thinking that a recipe from Pokemon would be good."

"How was I to know how badly spicy pizza pancakes would turn out! Now a Salvador Dali paiting would make more sense han what I've dreamed up in there!"

"Well, maybe provoking the herd of giant living desks might not have been such a good idea!"

They both looked up to see Talia and Jay. "Hi." They both said in unison, very bluntly.

Jay followed in behind her, then turned as he heard two voices behind him. Yeah, I'm...woah." He stopped walking. "Hey...I'm Jay. So..have you guys ever been here before?" Jay looked back at Talia, and at all the doors. He saw her approach one, and blinked. "So...we're going into this dream? Do you have any idea what we should be prepared for? I'd like to go in prepared, and not just sort of stumble in, and be attacked, if you know what I mean...I don't mean any offense by the way. I just want to stay alive." And...I don't want anyone else here to die either. 'Cuz I would hate that more than probably anything: watching a person die right in front of you...

The guy got up, helped the girl regain her balance, then dusted himself off, helping the girl as well.

"Well of course I should know what's in there! It's my dream! And trust me, you DON'T want to know what's in there! You know how sometimes, what you eat before you go to bed affects your dreams? Well, let's just say that whatever is behind that door is a prime example of why you shouldn't have spicy pizza pancakes for dinner."

He extended his hand. "The name's Daniel. Daniel Andrews. And this is Dominique, my alter-ego."

Dominique studied Jason for a bit, and then asked him, "Say, do you know a Dominique from a MMOPRG called "Shadowed World"? She's from Quebec, and is in a relationship with a guy named 'Jason Clawfang'. Is that you?"

"Yeah- I know what you mean." Talia said, then turned to the two newcomers that had just arrived. "Hey," She called, "Do you want to come with?" Talia said, as she turned back to Jay. "I don't think I dreamed up anything that'll bite your head off. Unless this is that dream where I was Hades and ordered Cerberus to kill..." Talia joked, chuckling a bit. "Yeah- this is just Dreams, not Nightmares, so I don't think we'll have to face anything difficult, really." Talia finished, looking at Jay. "If we went into Nightmares, that would be another story."

Yagami heard that those who uses drugs to get in usually ends up in a giant mystical lobby type of place. However, since he is taking the natural way, he goes directly into his dream. Yyagami finds himself in a sprawling, crowded city surrounded by tall, beautiful skyscrapers

"New York City?" Yagami silently asked himself. He walked into the nearest restaurant he saw titled Kamegashi. It was a busy restaurant filled with Asian customers eating sushi and noodles.

"Welcome to Tokyo's best noodle restaurant Kamegashi! Would you like a table sir?" A slim japanese waitress asked Yagami.

"So this is Tokyo, not New York City" He mumbled to himself. "Yeah, table for one please, I prefer window view if you don't mind"

"Sure thing, right this way please" The waitress leads him to a empty table by the store front, where Yagami can see people of all sorts shopping and walking.

"I'll have to find how to get to that Dream Realm Lobby" He thought to himself as he drinks his green tea. "but first, I am hungry"

Jay nodded, then blinked. "Yeah...why?" He waved a hand back at Talia, motioning for her to continue on while he talked to these two. They seem friendly, and...one of them, I don't know which, but...they seem real familiar. As if I've met them before. I know, weird right? As if just noticing it, Jay reached out, and grasped Daniel's hand. He took it quite firmly. After they released, Jay looked back at Talia, making sure she kept going. Then, he looked back at Daniel, then held out a hand to Dominique to take.

Dominique leapt towards Jason and embraced him tightly. "You are Jason! You are one of the Dom-Doms!"

Daniel leaned close to Jason's ear and explained. "The 'Dom-Doms' are a group of users who have had a relation with Dominique in her various incarnations, be it Dominique deLoup-Garou from Shadowed World or Sister Domi from Cutie Honey Online. You can probably guess what the name means..."

Jason saw the girl enter through one of the doors. "You guys gone on ahead, I have a little buisness to take care of..." Jason walked into the door of which the girl had walked into. He stood in darkness. He could barely male out a door at the end of which seemed like a hallway. Then he heard screaming. Of a little girl. He imediatly opened up the door to find a small child gutted in the room. Her dead eyes were filled with fear. "Maria?" Jason looked at the body of he dead girl. It was his sister that was killed a long time ago when he was just a child. He dropped down on the floor. "No...NOOOOO!" Jason could not relive this horrbile nightmare. This horrible reality.

"Sunomono!" A japanese waitress suddenly emerged out of thin air carrying yagami's favorite dish. Yagami picked up his chopsticks and started to play with a piece of octopus while still contemplating a way to get into that lobby without the use of drugs.

"What if I go into a trance state within a dream?" He asked himself. Can it work? Is the lobby hidden deeper in our mind or is it completely fabricated by the drugs as a gateway into the Dream Realm?

"First rule of Lucid Dreaming, you control what happens" He remembers reading off a Lucid Dreaming book years ago. This is no longer the case now that scientist linked all dreams through a drug. Back then, a dream was an individual's dream. But now, we all share one Realm. While the idea of Mind Over Matter is more present in this Realm, you can't exactly control fate anymore. Then it occured to him, "If the Dream Realm is interlinked, what happens if I die?"

Jay laughed as the girl grabbed him. With a grin on his face, he pushed her away from him. He beamed; never had he been a part of something before. "Dom-Dom's, huh?...You know, Dominique, I like the ring of that." He looked over at Daniel, a slight apologetic expression on his face. "And I'll bet I do know what Sister Domi means...but I don't think I have to tell you, do I?...So, should we follow Talia," he motioned over his shoulder with his head, "or should we just go gallivanting off on our own?"

Daniel interrupted the two of them. "You do realize that you are technically flirting with ME, right? Dominique is part of me, and therefore you're asking me out on a date."

Dominique pleaded with Daniel by tugging on his arm. "Come on, Daniel-chan, it'll be fun! And I know you're straight, but it's OK, because you created me to be bi."

Daniel sighed. "Fine. But let's please be careful."

Jay blinked, ignoring the conversation that the two had. "Woah, woah WHOA!" he called out, shaking his head. "I was not asking her, er, you, er, them, er...on a date. I was asking if...you...thought we should follow Talia, or if...er...we...should go and leave Talia on her own, and go out to do...whatever...we...want..." Jay sighed inwardly. Okay, that does sound really stupid, like I'm asking her...him...WHATEVER...on a date. Oh well, I've already said it, and he...she...they...accepted, so... "And apparently, I have your answer. Okay then, let's go...adventuring."

Dominique locked her arm with Jason's and walked with him while Daniel lagged behind, still irritated.

"What's wrong?" Dominique asked, turning her head back to look at her creator.

"I'm just...umm...how do I put this...I didn't expect to run into someone who I had a relationship with while being Dominique." Daniel replied.

"You know, it's a good thing that we're now separate entities, because it's not that bad. I'm not another personality, but I am, in essence, your imaginary friend. You've created dozens of digital versions of me, and I love being channeled by you into those avatars."

Daniel sighed in acceptance as Dominique winked at him. "Besides," she continued, "it was bound to happen one of these days. We might as well start with Jason here."

Jay blushed as Dominique linked her arm into his. "Uh...please, call me...Jay," he said, gulping. Suddenly, speaking had become much more difficult. Strangely enough, I find their banter quite relaxing...it's almost like their brother and sister...which, um, I guess they sort of are... Jay looked at Daniel, then back at Dominique. "So...do you guys wanna see some of my dreams? Or do you think we should go to some of your dreams. Right now, I don't really care one way or another."

"Yours." They replied simultaneously. Daniel pushed his glasses up and decided to walk on the other side of Jason. "We are NOT going back into my dreams tonight! I absolutely refuse to go in there again." Dominique nodded her head in agreement.
