Tokyo Duel
Chapter 1]It was nine in the morning when Heero Tanaka's alarm went off. Not wanting to get up quite yet, Heero accidently turned off his clock, thinking he turned on snooze. A little over an hour later, he woke up, looking at athe time: 10:14 a.m. "Oh...my...Winged Kuriboh!" Heero shouted. "I'm late for the tournament!" The tournament was taking place at Mirage Cards, the only card shop in Salvation City. By the time Heero arrived at Mirage Cards, he was thirty minutes late, and the registration form had one spot left. "Good...I'm not completly late..." Heero thought. He walked up there, chest puffed out, walking like a fancy person...until he tripped and fell on his face. "I...uh...I meant to do that!" he declared, face blossoming with red. The shop roared with laughter. Heero quickly got back up, and walked over to the registration form. "That was so freaking embarrassing..." Heero thought. But it was going to get worse. He was mere inches away from signing his name until he was pushed to the ground. Looking up, he saw someone had signed their name on the last line. "WHAT THE PANDEMONIUM!" Heero shouted at the person. The stranger just laughed saying, "Next time, hurry up. You never know when your going to get beat!" Heero was fuming, but there was nothing he could do now. Angry and dissapointed, he was about to leave when he heard sirens. What was Sector Security doing here? "Jake Mattews! You are under questioning for the dissapearence of William De'Pent!" Jake struggeled, but to no avail. Before Heero knew it, he was gone. Heero checked to see the shop manager remove his name from the list. Before anyone had the chance, Heero snagged the pen, writing his name on the list. "Whew...that was lucky..." he thought. The shop manager saw Heero sign his name, then went to the announcer. "Probably telling him that I'm in the tourny." Heero thought. "Alriiight! Ladies and gentleman! Duelists of aaaaaages! ARE YOU READY FOR THE SALVATION FIFTH ANNUAL TOURNAMENT?!" "YEAH!" everyone said, except the stranger who had pushed Heero down, who was smirking. "THEN LET IT BEEGIN!" the announcer said. "Alright, my lovely assistant will be helping us for the match-ups. At that moment, a beautiful girl, around Heero's age, walked up, with a BINGO-like cage, containing every registered duelist on it. "Alrighty! Let's beginsies! First up is..." she said, grabbing two names out of it. "Heero Tanaka against Dante Smith!" Dante approached the stage, in what looked like a super hero outfit, spandex and everything. He appeared to be over the age of twenty, making it even more odd... "You don't get out much, do you?" Heero asked. "Super heroes are dead..." "NO THEY'RE NOT! YOUR DEAD!" Dante cried out. "Mah supa powers will overwhelm you!" "Right...in that case you can start..." "I tink I will!" Dante said, drawing a card. "I'll summon Super Dog, who allows me to add 1 Level 4 "Super" monster from my deck to my hand. "I'll choose Super Tamer, who can be special summoned if I control Super Dog! Super Dog(Earth / Beast-Type / Level 3 / ATK: 1000 / DEF: 1000)Add 1 "Super" monster from your deck to your hand. This card can not be destroyed as a result of battle while you control "Super Tamer" Super Tamer(Earth / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK: 1800 / DEF: 1200)While you control a face up "Super Dog", you can special summon this card. If your opponent were to select this card as an attack target, you can switch the attack to 1 face-up "Super Dog". "I'll end wit two face-downs!" Dante said. "Draw!" Heero shouted, drawing a card. "I summon Absorbsionist - Gaza!" Absorbsionist - Gaza:(Light / Fiend / Level 4 / ATK: 0 / DEF: 200)When this card is Normal Summoned, select one monster on your opponents side of the field. The selected monster's ATK and DEF are halved, and this card gains ATK equal to the combined ATK and DEF of the monster, until the End Phase. "Haha! You insult the supers with your weak little monster! I would point and laugh at it, but it's to helpless! Neiner nanner neiner nare!" Dante said. "Weak...? Haha the only thing weak is your IQ, because Gaza will halve your monsters attack and defense, which will increase his attack by that much!" Gaza:ATK: 1500DEF: 0200 Super Tamer:ATK: 900DEF: 600 "Now, I activate the spell card, Riryoku, draining your dogs ATK, and giving my monster that same amount! Gaza:ATK: 2000DEF: 200 Super Dog:ATK: 500DEF: 1000 "Now, I'll attack your Super Tamer!" Heero shouted, knowing very well what was about to happen. Dante relied too much on power. He wasn't all that skilled in strategy. He would switch the attack over to Super Dog, depleting more Life Points out of him. "Not so fast, Mr. Rushikus! I activate the effect of my Tamer, switching the attack to my Dog!" "Just as I planned..." Heero thought. Dante: 2500Heero: 2600 "I chain to your Dog's effect, with the quick play spell Split Decision! You can either halve all of your monsters' attack until they are removed from the field or you can allow your dog to die. Your choice. And I end." "But...fine. It was a mut after all," Dante said, drawing a card. It was apparent Dante was getting irritated. He smiled, making Heero wonder if he had gotten something good. "I'll tribute my Super Tamer for...SUPER X! He is the very symbol of justice, the very being of righteousness! Countless villains have been brought to justice by his will!" "Uhh...dude. It's just a card..." Heero said. "NUH UH! HE IS A SUPER HERO! YOUR A SUPER ZERO!" Dante screamed, compltely insulted by Heero's reality check. Super X (Earth / Warrior / Level 7 / ATK: 2500 / DEF: 2000)This card can be Tribute Summoned by tributing 1 "Super Monster" your control. When this card is summoned, select on card on the field. The selected monster can not attack or change it's battle position. This card can attack all monsters on your opponents side of the field, at least once. Heero knew this wasn't good. He'd only have 100 LP left...this wasn't good at all. "ATTACK! Bring upon justice to that monster!" Dante shouted. Heero: 0100Dante: 2500 Heero groped in agony as his monster was destroyed, and as his life points dropped by an amazing 2400 in a single blow. "I need...I need that card...I need...to win." Heero thought. He couldn't lose to this guy. It'd be embarrassing. Heero was no competitive duelist, but he refused to be beaten by this guy. No...he refused to be beaten in his first tournament. Heero closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. Opening his eyes, he declared, "I believe in my deck! I refuse to lose! There will be no way I'm losing! Not today, not anyday!" Heero drew his card. A giant grin crossed Heero's face. "I activate the spell card Incomplete Half! By halving my life points...I can summon a certain card from my deck...!" Heero shouted. Heero: 50Dante: 2500 "Wha...?!" Dante cried out, knowing what was about to happen wouldn't end well. "I'll summon...Absorbing Life God!" Abosrbing Life God(Light / Warrior / Level 8 / ATK: 3000 / DEF: 0)This card can not be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of Imcomplete Half. When this card is Special Summoned, select 1 monster on opponents side of the field. The selected monsters ATK and DEF are havled, and this card's ATK is increased by an equal amount. "Now, if you don't mind, my God will absorb your monster's ATK, and increase his by an equal amount! Go forth, attack his monster!" Heero: 0050Dante: 0000 "Wow...I didn't think I would win," Heero said."Wha...why?" Dante asked. "You duel at a level I've never seen before...""Because...this is my first duel. Ever," Heero laughed.
Niño
Pretty awesome Fan Fic you got going there buddy, only thing I would work on if I were you, is reducing the catch phrases (; and using more descriptive words, at the moment it's sounding almost like a Screenplay.
