Welcome to Club Transformer, not the best name I could come up with but I might change it. Anyway, this is a club where we mainly talk about Transformers and anything else.

June 20th, 2009 — Michael Bay will be returning to directing duties.

 

 

June 30th, 2009 — Ramon Rodriguez will be returning as Leo Spitz in a larger role.

 

 

October 1st, 2009 — Day One of preproduction work. A story has apparently already been worked out. The day began with a meeting between Bay and Industrial Light & Magic which was followed by Bay and writer Ehren Kruger flying to Rhode Island to meet with Hasbro about new characters. Bay confirmed a proposed release date of July 1st, 2011.

 

 

 

October 6th, 2009 — Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman will not be returning to write the film. All writing duties were given to Ehren Kruger. Michael Bay stated on the video played at the end of the Revenge of the Fallen Blu-ray AllSpark Experiment game that the third film will go deeper into the Transformers' history (showing lots of Unicron imagery from Transformers: The Ultimate Guide) and that it will have more screentime for Bumblebee.

January 5, 2010 — James Avery confirms he will be playing a new Autobot named Silverbolt.

 

 

 

February 7, 2010 —Tony Todd says he'll be back in some capacity.

 

 

March 2, 2010 - Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are going to get updated and revised designs that in Bumblebee's case reflects his maturation.

 

 

March 19, 2010 - the script has said to be finished, and pre-shoots are scheduled to begin in April, 2010. Planned filming locations include Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC, Texas, Florida, Africa, Moscow, and China.

 

 

March 22, 2010 Michael Bay announced that Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, and Ken Jeong had joined the cast, as well as the Ferrari 458 Italia would become the newest Autobot.

 

 

April 7, 2010 - Variety reported that Kevin Dunn and Julie White will be returning as Sam Witwicky's parents.

 

 

April 27, 2010 - Tony Todd hinted at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo 2010 that he would be playing a human character.

 

May 4, 2010 - Paramount Pictures confirmed that Patrick Dempsey has been cast in Transformers 3 to play Mikeala Banes' boss.

 

 

May 11, 2010 - Michael Bay claims: "The Twins are not back in T3.

 

 

June 2, 2010 - Bay officially announces Fox's replacement as Sam's love interest: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

 

 

June 10, 2010 - USA Today revealed that the villian for Transformers 3 would be Shockwave. Micheal Bay and Lorenzo diBonaventura took some of the blame for the criticisms aimed at Revenge of the Fallen and acknowledged the problems the film had. Bay revealed that they would be getting rid of what he referred to as the "dorky comedy" seen in Revenge of the Fallen, and repeated that the Twins were "basically gone", though John Turturro would return as comic relief. Additionally, the film will explore the Transformers' role in the space race and will be filmed in 3D.

 

August 2, 2010 - A new Autobot taking the form of a red Rosenbauer Panther airline fire truck was spotted on Chicago and confirmed to appear by Nelson. He said it was not Inferno or Hot Spot.

 

August 3, 2010 - Nelson confirmed that Jolt is not returning.

 

August 6, 2010 - Nelson confirmed at the Shoot For The Edit site, that Wheelie returns in third film and Carly's car is a Mercedes-Benz.

I have watched a few animated series, more Transformers armada series. I havent watched the newest one, and they do look a bit goofy.

I put the username in there for the lulz.

 

I had a few names to call this which included Club Autobot, Decepticon, Cybertron, Epic Megatron, Epic Optimus Prime but I chose this as it covers all of them. I might change it.

Sorry for the absence, had to take care of some stuff in rl.

Thats ok, life first before YCM, was only for a few hours anyway. Just some others in one of my older clubs were not active for weeks and only posted once so I dont want that to happen again.

 

I will be signing of for the night in a minute. Im thinking of getting someone to be a co-leader as well.
